Durchwachsen.

Frühstück wurde tel. für 7 Uhr früh festgelegt, da die Abreise spät. um 7:45 Uhr erfolgen musste. Leider war dann aber niemand da und der Eingang verschlossen. Wir mussten am Bahnhof frühstücken. Auch bei Anreise um halb 8 Uhr abends, war niemand da. Die Schlüssel bekamen wir nach einem Telefonat über einen code bei einem Ablagefach.

Bardzo brudno, dostałyśmy pokój niestety z nie przebraną pościelą, zakrwawionym prześcieradłem. Kratka wentylacyjna w łazience cała zalepiona brudem. Nigdy wcześniej nie nocowałam w takich warunkach. Azjatycka obsługa niestety nie mówiąca po angielsku, co zdecydowanie utrudniało komunikacje.

Overnight stay almost next to Dresden Hbf suited our needs !

We needed an affordable (but not shaby) hotel close to Dresden Hbf (100m ?). And Hotel Kipping served our needs ! Room as stated on website. Although furniture looks somewhat dated, it was clean and that is most important to us. Mattress so/so (soft), but that is subjective. Breakfast area (buffet) downstairs as well as outside terrace, but both we did not use during our short stay, so we cannot comment on that (looked nice though). Friendly staff. Great for an overnight stay !

We did not use any of the hotel facilities. Only needed a room to sleep and catch a train the next morning. So no negatives to mention !

Hotel was fine. Though chosen to be near the station, in fact location wasn't ideal.

Breakfast good, but ran out of many items by our third morning.

There seemed to be a party going on in some neighbouring rooms one evening. Very noisy and we wondered why this was allowed.

Great location and visit.

Awesome location. Walk 4 minutes across street from train station and walkable to restaurants, shopping, and 20 minutes walk to old town. Very quiet and comfortable. Good size rooms. Staff were warm and welcoming. Good a/c. Would stay again!

The beds were a little firm for me and I like a firm bed.

No blackout blinds in the room meant I was woken early by light. Single bed was very small.

Good clean and convenient stay

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean place. They provided recommendations on where to eat and how to get to certain destinations. Check in and check out process was fast and easy.

Pillows were quite deflated, we had to request for additional pillows for our room.

-Reception closes around 8pm, so I needed to call to figure out the keys and entrance -Elevator closes at the same time, a lot of stress and hussle for those with big luggage. -needs improvement on food selection

Hotel Kipping has a nice, quiet location near the train station station.

Spacious, quiet, clean rooms. Location a couple blocks from the train station, with many places to eat. Easy access to transportation or walk into town - we did both.

Very helpful and accommodating staff, but their limited English and my even more limited German complicated communication on check-in and out.

Friendly stuff. Old school hotel (at its best) - not too big, old building/renovated, real keys instead of an app. Great location next to the station but surprisingly quiet even with windows open.

Super convenient for rail travel

As an experienced but budget traveller who doesn't spend much time in my hotel room, I only have 5 main criteria to judge accommodation on. Comfy bed: average Clean: yes Location (safe, convenient, interesting): really convenient - 2min from the main station and an easy 15min walk to the historic centre. WiFi: a bit slow Convenient check-in (for late/early arrival): yes - I arrived about 10pm and all worked well. Stored my luggage there for a few hours post-check out too.
