Séjour très agréable

Le PD copieux le personnel très attentif L'accueil les chambres bien équipées la piscine et le parking gratuit sont les atouts de cet ets

Le wifi qui n'est pas très présent dans tout l'ets Mais surtout le restaurant qui n'est pas à la hauteur Les plats proposés non en adéquation avec les prix Pratiqués

Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig

Das Hotel ist mit aniken Möbeln ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Im Garten mit Pool kann man wunderbar entspannen. Die Lage ist super. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom See entfernt. Ins Zentrum läuft man an der herrlichen Uferpromenade 10 Minuten. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend. Das Frühstück gibt es als Buffet und ist völlig ausreichend. Man kann im Garten oder auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Im Restaurant wird ein gutes Menü zum absolut fairen Preis angeboten. Die Mitarbeiter dort sind sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht.

Der Zimmerservice kommt ohne anklopfen vor 9 Uhr ins Zimmer. Das ist nicht so schön, wenn man ausschlafen möchte. Ein "do not disturb" Schild könnte einfache Abhilfe schaffen, ist aber nicht vorhanden. Der Barkeeper ist unterkühlt bis unfreundlich

Lovely hotel close to ferry

Lovely hotel only a short walk to the ferry service on Lake Maggiore. We were impressed that we were immediately upgraded to a new room when our air conditioning was not working in our first room. Excellent customer service and friendly staff from the front desk through to the auxiliary staff. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent customer service from every employee encountered and would definitely return!!

The front desk staff were exceptional. I counted at least 4 languages spoken with ease. The one young blonde front desk lady was very good at answering questions and explaining the advantages of the region. Every staff member encountered were polite with strong customer service skills - from front desk to dining room to housekeeping to maintenance. The Maître d’ was very accommodating to guests yet the dining room was run with precision. The room had an outstanding view of the lake and the mountains. What a pleasure it was to wake up to that every morning. The breakfast was varied from hot to cold fare and every guest I saw left with smiles on their faces. The test of any hotel is if guests would want to return. This guest definitely would!!

Excellent accommodations in beautiful Stresa

The hotel is very lovely, all details are well thought through. The location was very good for us too, very close to the boats, and we also enjoyed a 15 minutes walk to the center of the Stresa along the lake too. Beautiful. I liked the breakfast area, beautiful garden, pool, bar area on the balcony, excellent views from the roof, very friendly and attentive staff. I would say it is a good find, we enjoyed staying in the hotel Royal very much! Thank you!

Amazing stay in a lovely hotel in a wonderful location

Breakfast included was lovely. Plenty on offer and good quality. Location is perfect for visiting the Borromean Islands, and a 20 min walk from the main town, where there are plenty of great shops and eateries. View from our room was amazing, we had a balcony over looking the lake

Tea making facilities in the room would have been nice, but this seems to be something they don't do in Europe??

Our stay at the hotel was the most relaxing part of our month vacation.

We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Royal. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff couldn’t be nicer. We ate dinner there 4 nights. The food was great and a very good value. Breakfast was included and was also delicious. The wait staff are dressed in suits bow ties. We felt like we stepped back in time.

A great location for a relaxing stay in the Italian Lake District.

It was right next to the boat dock. It also had incredible views.

It was a 15 minute walk to the city center, which is only a problem if you have issues walking.

Superb

Location was perfect, with great views of the lake. Close to the Hop On Hop Off ferry. Great walk, along the promenade, into the town centre.

Very minor, but the shower was not great, and the bed was hard. Bar manager was a bit abrupt, bordering on rude. We named him 'Basil' (Fawlty Towers)... Also, the pool was under renovation, but there was no communication to let us know this.

Okay hotel but rooms need better sound proofing for a good nights sleep!

Good location with free parking. Very friendly reception staff and we did get a free room upgrade which was a nice surprise :-)

The walls in the bedrooms were very thin indeed - in our room (don’t know if all rooms were like this) we could here the water pipes all through the night which were very loud. Anytime someone in a nearby room flushed their toilet we heard it and then there was dripping in the pipe afterwards. We also could hear people snoring and talking in the room next door :-( The bed was also very squeaky which kept us awake.
