Staff and location were fantastic

We stayed for 31 nights and on arrival were upgraded from a studio to a 1-bed apartment because of refurbishment works. All the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, with Violetta and Frank, who we dealt with most often, particularly outstanding. The apartment balcony had a view towards the sea and overlooked the pool (we didn't use it) and was very well serviced every couple of days with cleaning, towels, toilet rolls, bin emptying, beds made and so on. There was a plentiful supply of hot water for showers. Although the kitchen and it's utensils were basic, they were fully sufficient for our requirements and included a fridge, kettle, microwave, hob and oven enabling us to provide our own meals during our stay. The bedroom had a very large wardrobe and there was a useful dressing unit with shelves in the living area which also had a sofa, table and chairs. The wi-fi was also adequate for our purposes (email, social media, texting). The surrounds had a busy and lively holiday atmosphere and was very convenient to the local amenities such as the copious restaurants and bars located on the bustling sea/beach front about 5 minutes walk away. A few small supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, pubs and a pharmacy were on our immediate doorstep and the main road to the airport, which was about 20 minutes drive, was half a mile away.
The apartment decor and furnishings are a bit dated and shabby but perfectly serviceable and as there seems to be a programme of refurbishment underway will no doubt be modernised and updated over time. No handsoap in the bathroom and kitchen.

Very good location. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Few minutes walk to the beach front and its in a central location to go between different towns nearby
The only thing I didn't like was the lack of facilities but aside from that, was well worth the money and a good location

There wasn’t much to like about the property. for anyone thinking of going there are many steps up to the property so it isn’t wheelchair/ disability friendly.
The property was very shabby. The bathroom door in my apartment was difficult to close and open. It seemed to be hanging off its hinges like many of the cupboard doors in the kitchen. The beds need updating too, they’re very thin and flimsy. Not very comfortable at all.
The balcony is also extremely narrow and doesn’t get much sun throughout the day, my towel never dried off from the beach.

The room allocated on first arrival was on the ground floor, dark with no view. We asked to be moved and the staff at reception were very accommodating and moved us to a better apartment the next day.
Some of the sunbeds were very worn and dirty and had no covers. Also there were no umbrellas for shade.
Quite a climb uphill to get to the supermarkets and bars.

Nothing really there was constant work between 8-10 which I complained about the access was terrible with to many steps.the shower was poor the smell at car park from the drains.
Far to much work every day apart from Sunday it’s not what I go on holiday for it was a major renovation not maintenance

Apartment size was great.
Everything very comfortable. Balcony with a sunset view.
There was a lot of noise from people working on reforms on the building.
The boiler was too small for an apartment that size/ or it wasn't heating the water enough. For that reason, the showers had to be very quick in order not to have only cold water at the end, and also once one of us showered, the other had to wait about an hour to do the same.

wonderful location, staff were so friendly and helpful

The hotel is old and as far as I’m aware in the process of starting renovations. The staff make the most of it and couldn’t be more helpful from Hector the manager to Emma on reception as well as all the other reception staff. We let Hector know we weren’t happy with the room we were in and within minutes he had arranged for us to move to an upgraded room. The staff all do everything they can to make your stay the best it can be.
There are lots of stairs .. the entrance, to get to some of the rooms to get to the pool you have lots of stairs to climb. Unfortunately this would probably put us off staying here again.
