Location, breakfast, Personell
Ventilation is old and sound that coming from ventilation system is too loud and we had problems with sleeping

A charming building with a history. Very interesting architecture and layout, almost lavish. Spacious room, Huge shower and a comfortable bed and sofa. The breakfast was a good standard. The late checkin was smooth. Overall quiet at night, the air ventilation was not too noisy, unlike some people mentioned here. Guest kitchen available.
Avoid the so-called orange juice at breakfast 😅 250 SEK for the dog per night are unreasonable. Otherwise no complaints.

It felt like a hidden gem! This hotel offers great value for the money. The surrounding is very nice, with great architecture, beautiful gardens, and big rooms. Moreover, I liked that they have a small kitchen and 24 hours Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate offerings. I would love to go there again. Great place for rewinding!
The big Pillows on the bed looked pretty but the pillow covers looked stained somehow. Maybe, they can be more cautious regarding this.

Spacious and light room. Helpful stuff. Easy check in/check out and good and fast communication. Codes sent half an hour before their closing time for easy entry since we arrived little after reception closed. Comfortable beds. Great extra facilities, such as pantry, seating areas, tv/wifi, modern and functional furnishings (fridge, iron, microwave, coffe/chocolate/tea free of charge). Excellent teas! Thank you! Made for a heavenly sleep and great morning. Feeling much like home from home. Generally quiet room (once you adjust to the sound of the ventilation). Daily cleaning and bed making brought a touch of luxury and being taken care of. Decor fitting the building, very pleasant. Paintings on the walls were beautiful. Small decor touches and lovely lighting throughout. Seating groups broke the long corridors perfectly. We stayed in the family room and it was a great time spent together. Decent breakfast and lovely feel of the breakfast room with tv, piano and books. Charming. Lovely surroundings that I wish to explore better in better weather. Would definitely come back.
Pillow cases for the large pillows and towels could do with a higher temperature wash and use of some cleaner for the occasional spots. They were not dirty, just had signs of wear and tear one does not look forward to in a hotel and one may want to travel with one's own if one is sensitive. Large pillows were perhaps slightly too large for comfort, but I liked them (rest of my family thought small were too small, big too big :) ). Further sorting of garbage would increase the green factor (paper, plastic and compost added would be great) in the pantry. My biggest dislike was the carpets in the corridors. They were visibly worn, had large unappealing spots that soft lightning seemed to enhance. While carpets were wonderful and soft for a quick barefoot walk to the pantry, and super quiet, they just did not fit with the rest of the decor due to those worn out signs. Something easier maintained and kept clean would be great when money and time allows it. Also, building, from the entrance on, there are offices... in the same building, seemed in need of good airing, which perhaps comes with early spring time and would improve with the warmer weather.

Two families with eight children made the whole breakfast room awake. After this, they were switching on the kids programm on TV, so that every guest has to follow it, all the other guests left the breakfast room, while the adults from these families layed back and relaxed, because their children finally had something to do. Maybe some rules might be helpful, so that every guest is treated with respect.

The communication was very good, the stuff was helpful. We loved our awesome room with a super cosy bed. The hotel offers free hot drinks and provides two kitchens (one tiny and the other very big and well equipped). The breakfast buffet was delicious!
Highly recommended!
