Breakfast is exceptional. Good coffee. Very helpful staff. Limited free parking on-site. Superb interior.

Historical site, nice with lots of possibilities to get a 4 star or cathegory, maybe in the past it was better.
The beds were old, pillows really low and uncomfortable, constant noise from spme devices or air conditioner outside.
Bathroom needs new silicones and cleanness, bathtub is sliding a lot.
Breakfast is not s real buffet like shown in the photos, you go there and you have right to one coffee, not a natural juice and two pieces of savory or sweet products like cakes, omelettes, sandwiches... Come on, that's not nice, so means paying for really nice location but a bit to improve to really be the best. Investment, pictures of Felipe de Borbón were from his period as prince

Free Carparking. Large room. Unusual interior, but interesting.

Meson de la Dolores is in a very old, historic building, perhaps the oldest in Calatayud (15th century). So it has a lot of atmosphere. Breakfast is OK and the staff is friendly. As the hotel is situated in the middle of the old city of Calatayud, next to the tourist office, the location is perfect. Also the room was very quiet; I didn't hear the noise in the restaurant.
My room was somewhat dark because of the small (historic) window and the view from that window was a wall close by and part of a roof (room 206). The hotel staff warned me beforehand of the bad view; nevertheless I could only read with the lights on. Some facilities like a fridge and tea things were not available.

The building is beautiful, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious - in fact the best I've had anywhere in any hotel I've stayed in worldwide. Sounds over the top - well try it an see what I mean.

A superb location in the middle of the town. A good unusual breakfast with homemade tapas and cakes. Really enjoyed our balcony table for dinner in an authentic, quirky building.
The museum held within the hotel was amazing and opened especially for us. We learned about Bretons opera Dolores and how it’s story was based in Calatayud!
We were n a basic room which we be paid for. It had no real view but v spacious. Other more expensive rooms enjoyed balconies and views.

could do with a better shower.

Good evening meal in the restaurant; simple breakfast served in the bar. The building is beautiful. Finding the hotel was tricky but found it eventually.

An ancient gorgeous building full of character and charm. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and making the hotel a truly magical place. Breakfast is plenty and the restaurant is also lovely. Definitely worth a stay! Best experience in Spain.

Not a very pretty town.

Everything was excellent in this gem of a place. Typical old Spanish Meson. I will stay there again without a doubt. So much to photograph in and out of the hotel. Don't be put off by the outside. You wont be disappointed inside.
There was nothing to dislike.

Atmospheric. Unusual. The local wine.
Finding it! Mediocre food

Very good value B&B. Interesting old building.
Dinners unexceptional. Would certainly stay again but would go out for supper.
3.8
Interesting old building. Decor seems unchanged for a century - but attractive. We would stay there again.
We would have done better to have had the €15 menu del dia for supper than eating from the a la carte menu which was not particularly good value.
4.6
Very nice museum hotel, well renovated
Aircon a bit noisy
