Todo la comida, la limpieza, la atención, como se integran las personas todo fue espectacular.

A nice quiet sanctuary in Santa Marta. Well-known by locals and on the traveller’s circuit. Very friendly staff that can help with many things (like laundry washing after the Lost City Trek, day trips, taxi costs, luggage storage, etc.). Big pool is a relief from the heat and cleaned daily. Different events on every night, great food and a short 20 min taxi ride to the city centre. Great base to leave your things and travel to Minca, Tayrona National Park or do the Lost City Trek. Would recommend!

The dreamer was very comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food was really really good.
The location is a car ride from Santa Marta's historic district, and the hostel was always playing unnecessarily loud music in my opinion.
6.0
The communal area was nice
the private room was very basic and old. the ceiling fan was so strong and loud that you couldn’t leave it on at night and it was so hot. we waited 40mins for breakfast and were late to Tayrona park as a result. I would skip the breakfast

+ really nice staff, good food, nice pool
- the ceiling fan only runs on the highest speed, making it incredibly loud (and I can tolerate a lot with earplugs normally...) and impossible to get a good rest. Also it's still freaking hot at night (Ireland room). Just take the AC room.
- party... (but they stopped punctually at 11pm)

Nice poool, lots of outdoor seating
Far away from the centre
Very loud music till late at night
No WiFi in room

I stayed in a private room and it was pretty nice. The food was better than expected.
The music was extremely loud until 11pm.

We stayed one night here before heading to Minca. Really good chill vibe. The room was great and nice and comfortable. We enjoyed our pizzas.
Nothing.

Great staff, very helpful. Nice vibe. Hostel is near the bus station which was important for us as were travelling to Cartagena early in the morning. However, it is far out from the centre of Santa Marta.
The room is small.

Facilities are great, peaceful, and clean. Food is also great. A good base for the Lost City Trek.
Location feels a bit out of the way. The staff was quite brash/seemingly impatient. Maybe they were just stressed on that particular day, but they were probably the least friendly employees I met on my trip through Colombia. Regardless, it’s well-worth the value.

Good for parties and chilling.
There was no key to the door so anyone could come in.
There was no towel and soap in the bathroom for washing your hands and yourself.
The water just barely came from the shower.

The activities, the rooms and the decorations as a whole. Really prone to make people socialize. Juan Pablo was awesome, he was really cool, he participated in the activities with us, listen to every of my inquiries and made me comfortable with the where around of Santa Marta. I will for sure come back.

Very beautiful acommodations, the rooms are amazing, the restaurant, the bar and the staff are so great as well. One of the best hostels i’ve ever been!

Location walking distance to the bus terminal.
My card was debited for the full amount before arrival in spite of policy.
He refused to refund my card and accept cash.
I was the only guest but still had to suffer the youg receptionists LOUD rap music played throughout and therefore unable to use the courtyard facilities. He refused to turn it down so I sat in the park across the street.
Typical of so many hostals where you are forced to listen to the staff's music. Seems like guests are only toletatef as a necessary problem.

The food was amazing. Reasonably priced, huge portions and very delicious! Just what we needed after a few days in the Tayrona park hiking. Nice pool, well stocked guest kitchen and comfortable chill out areas. Big clean private rooms and clean bathrooms.
The beds were very hard, like sleeping on concrete! The hostel also played crazy loud music until midnight every night even if there was nobody left in the bar. They did turn it down when we asked, though.

amazing food, friendly and helpful staff, great location to start Tayrona trip (bus stop to Tayrona just outside of hostel)
no hot water in showers, a bit loud

Staff was very rude, unaccommodating, lost some of my laundry and said they would reimburse the laundry fee but then refused to.

Very nice hostel. Good location for easy access to the city (just a short taxi ride away). Busses to Tayrona and Palomino and close to a big mall, which is nice to have. The staff were absolutely amazing. Always happy and helpful and went out of their way to help. Really good food in the kitchen and at good prices. The vibe was really good and the place was lively will music every day. All around just a great experience. We didn't go on any of the trips they arrange, but heard from some other people in the hostel, that they were really nice as well. Cannot recommend it highly enough 😊
Not much to say here

A great hostel. Beautiful when you arrive with the pool in the centre. Rooms are comfy with large lockers for every bed. Laura is great for organizing activities and getting everyone involved. All the people working there are super friendly and helpful. All payments for bar/food on wristband which is very handy.
Slightly further out from the central city though an easy taxi ride into the town, and staff very happy to call a taxi.

Lovely place to relax
The music style and quality varies. Sometimes it's great and laid back, sometimes it's Spanish upbeat disco pop in the early afternoon, which is annoying.

location is close to the edge of the town so easier to grab the bus to Tayrona.
I booked a 6 dorm room (big lockers + bathroom) and upon arrival that room wasn’t available. I was underclassed in a 10 bed dorm (small lockers + no bathroom). When I complained that this was a downgrade versus my booking they tried to tell me it was actually better. Upon repeating my discomfort I was moved to a 4 bed dorm (big lockers + bathroom) but I had to pay extra for this “overbooking”.
The hostel is also incredibly loud. It has a frat house vibe. Great if you want to party and play beer pong or other drinking games. If you want to sleep and have quiet to go hiking the noise is unavoidable and incredibly present, even in the furthest rooms. It stops at 11pm sharp, but before that I had to leave the hostel to wander abouts just avoid the noise.

everything! like they say it's like an hotel! it has all the amenities and facilities you can think of with a very chilled vibe, nice swimming pool, very helpful and friendly staff who remember your name which is a nice personal touch. also very fairly priced for what you get and good food as well. highly recommend!
nothing really, the location was a little out the way but the buses to the centre are plentiful plus there is a supermarket at the end of the road. so you are well catered for.

Very clean and comfortable. Great food and drinks. Nice pool for cooling off. Staff is very helpful and they allow you to leave bags while you visit other sites around Santa Marta such as Tayrona Park.

Good vibes and all services you need. Great staff and food
The music is sometimes annoying, bad party music when everyone wants to chill.

Nice private rooms
Very noisy music playing all day, and didn't think the restaurant was that good. Ok for a day stopover and if youre looking for a party hostel

amazing place, very laidback and friendly. all the staff was great and the bed where very comfortable. At night we made a little reunion at the bar and that was fun.
thank you Dreamer Hostel, definitely coming back when I’m in Santa Marta

At first I thought the location was a issue, but it's sooooo easy to take the bus anywhere you want (just be sure to get several 2k pesos for those trips). A nice Olympica store is a short walk away as is a nice mall where a huge Éxito store is located.
The rooms are al fresco (no air), but a dip in the pool or quick shower B4 bed is all you need to cool off.

Nice pool area. Restaurant serves delicious food. Very convenient location for buses to/from Tayrona, Palomino and Cartagena.
Fan rather than AC in some of the private rooms

This place has a fun vibe, nice break from the city. Relaxing place to kick back after traveling all day.

The air conditioning worked well and was quiet.
Room advertised was nowhere near what was advertised - about half the size claimed. There was no sitting area or sofa bed as promised.

very nice areas to chill and the pool is great. staff is also friendly and they organize tours
it is far from the center so if you want to have the lively experience of being in Santa marta probable not the best option. however to go to Tayrona it’s the perfect location

This place is amazing not only for its accommodation but for its staff ! I had an amazing time with Louisa Raphael and Laura. These people are lovely and really take care of their guests. They always have a big smile on their face and make you feel comfortable. The ambiance of this hostel wouldn’t be the same without them. They really give a lot of energy to make this place what it is. If I were their boss, I would make sure to pay them enough to keep them in my hostel 😉
The cooks and the service agent also do a great work and always have a friendly smile on their faces.
