A good quality hotel with a lovely little rooftop pool.

I never know what to expect with five star hotels in Italy, but in this instance it actually was what I would expect. One afternoon, I left for a half-hour stroll, and when I returned the towels I had just been using had been changed! The room was peaceful - I couldn't hear any traffic noise from the busy street along the promenade. My favourite part of my stay, however, has to be the rooftop pool. It's small (about ten metres by three metres), with a blissful water temperature and a good view towards the sea. For three days in a row I had the pool entirely to myself from around 4pm for a good hour, and it was wonderful.

We regret this booking. Would never return and wouldn’t recommend.

Good location. A bit of a walk from the centre.

Worst room I’ve ever stayed in. The walls are padded in a blue fabric which gave the feeling of being in an asylum. What’s worse is the fabric was dirty and smelly. It was very unhygienic. Honestly it was expensive and not worth it.

Mittelmäßig geführtes Hotel, mit Meerblick akzeptabel

Schöner Blick auf das Meer, Zimmer mit Balkon, Bier aus der Mini-Bar. Schallisolierung und Klimaanlage sehr gut. Schöne Dusche und Bad, kurzer Weg in die Altstadt, Frühstück mit schöner Aussicht, toller Service und Freundlichkeit (nur) in der Rezeption. Beheizter kleiner (liebloser) Pool auf dem Dach.

Personal beim Frühstück unangenehm, Rührei miserabel, Kaffee Americano annehmbar, Design gewollt, aber nicht gekonnt. Es ist kein Fünf-Sterne Hotel. Eher ein mittelmäßiges Vier-Sterne Haus. Das Hotel wird irgendwie lieblos geführt und bleibt daher unter seinen Möglichkeiten. Frühstücksraum hat die Atmosphäre einer Kantine. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist schlecht.

There’s nothing I did not like. Walking into the old town and the train station was a bit more than I expected, but it helped me get my steps in for the day.

der Blick auf das Meer und den Hafen umwerfend - Lage - man ist am Meer und gleich in der Altstadt - Catarina am Empfang hat uns ein early check in ermöglicht - danke

Preis Leistung ganz schlecht - nicht das Niveau eines 5 Sterne Hauses - besonders der Spa verdient keine 5 Sterne

Superb

Excellent hotel and great service from all the staff. Free room upgrade on arrival. Excellent top floor restaurant with great views, food is exceptional and good value. Excellent roof top pool with large sun terrace and sun beds. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

Town beach is not great. Some amazing towns and beaches within 15 minute ride on the train. Tickets are really cheap and services are really good.

location was the only positive of the hotel , room was good size.

the bed was hard as a rock, didn't sleep for 2 nights . the spa is a joke. the massage was a money grab, person was not a message therapist, had no clue what to do, was of money and time. would not recommend ever! mentioned to front desk at check out and I was ignored

Pleasant stay.

Property was situated in a nice location. Roof top pool was nice and there was a sauna and gym which was useful.

The room was smaller than expected. The shower was good but designed poorly which resulted in water going everywhere from the shower.

Perfect location, loved the heated rooftop pool and very comfortable bed.

Gym wasn’t up to much however the rooftop area by the pool was totally empty in the morning so used that to exercise. one of the best workout views ever!

Location and view from room was beautiful, Had an amazing view of the Adriatic sea

The bar down stairs near the foyer was closed the entire time l, being a solo traveller I wanted this so I could have a casual drink as night, my only other option was the restaurant or to venture out. I didn't comfortable to venture out at night on my own.

Good service with friendly personnel. Clean comfortable room, with fabulous view overlooking the sea with Old Town in the background. Large lobby with large comfy sofas! Breakfast was a little disappointing, with not much of a selection to choose from. Couldn't make any sense out of Room Service….needs improvement.

They were super nice and the place was very clean. Good AC too. Could be colder though.

The mattress could be more comfortable. For the king bed it was like two mattresses put together and we felt it move and slide.

beautiful Art Deco hotel in an amazing location. roof top pool was the best.

Art Deco decor was so lovely. the blues everywhere just made the sea seem endless.

the reception staff don’t have customer service above an 8. they’re a 7.

Not a five stars hotel. in the restaurant, the staff is not very pleasant, with a few exceptions. The rooms were cleaned, but the sheets were not changed, the room was not vacuumed, the floor was not washed, the hotel hallway in front of the rooms was not clean. I constantly found hairs on the floor and in the bathroom after cleaning, probably from the cleaning staff. There was no bathtub in the bathroom, and the shower cabin was not sealed - water came out in the bathroom every time the shower was used The window of the room was towards a closed space - the view from the window was towards other rooms of the hotel.

We love this hotel - perfect location, very helpful and friendly team.

This was our fourth stay, and if anything, it was even better than previous stays. The staff were especially helpful, and the hotel appeared to have been updated further. Great location beside the sea, and an easy walk into town
