The loft room is a little small but had a nice big ensuite and spotlessly clean.

Quaint and quirky. Furnished in "rummage sale" style with hand made accessories and mismatched everything.
A fabulous breakfast including a delicious frittata and homemade preserves.
It's all a bit worn, but lovingly so.

Compact attic room with ensuite but rooms available downstairs for making tea and coffee (with yummy home-made biscuits) and for watching TV. We had a lovely meal in the evening - all 3 courses and wine. Nice to have something a bit different.

Lovely old world charm, comfortable and friendly. Staff were very welcoming, breakfast was great! Highly recommend - we will be back.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast with plenty of character and charm. The breakfast was all home grown and cooked food which you see growing in the garden, The staff were very helpful. We stayed on an evening when a dinner is not available, but there are some great recommendations a short stroll away. Port Fairy is a well looked after town and ideal for a relaxing stroll. Rooms were full of old time charm and very comfortable. Parking is extremely convenient. Love the common/lounge area and garden where relaxing is ideal with a good book and conversation
Very few negatives. If staying upstairs, it is a tight staircase to carry a heavy bag. The evening meals are supposed to be great so plan well ahead if you want to book.

Cramped quarters, low ceiling, tiny bathroom, very "dated" furniture, few in-room facilities and some noise from the bar below are not normally things I'd mention in the list of things I enjoyed. However, this was exactly the authentic attic room experience in a very old inn I'd signed up for. Adding to the experience was the sumptuous breakfast which included being waited on for coffee and hot breakfast orders - no impersonal buffet breakfast here. The whole inn felt like stepping back in time; it was a rabbit warren of interesting and character-filled rooms. Owners and staff were the same! I had the sense to book ahead for an evening meal in the Kitchen which was another experience not to be missed. Food and drink were divine. The shower was surprisingly good, too.
Getting a heavy suitcase (I'm travelling for several weeks) up and down the steep stairs to the attic was a bit hairy but I managed to do it.

Beautiful quirky house, lovely room
at front of house with nice sitting room. Very comfortable bed. Nice touches with teas and homemade biscuits. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely garden that we enjoyed wandering around in. Food in restaurant is just delicious, beautifully presented and so nice that they use lots of homegrown veg and herbs. Breakfast was wonderful.
nothing. was really wonderful.

Breakfast was amazing. Very good evening meal too.
Small bed but we knew that would be the case as we had an attic room.

The historic building was nice to visit. We had supper there. It was very tasty. The staff were friendly. We had a nice omlet for breakfast with fresh fruit and orange juice.

The staff were super friendly with suggestions of where to go and even though we arrived late after the long Great Ocean Rd drive this did not pose a problem for Liz who met us at the unearthly hour of 10pm
Possibly a little more choice on breakfast menu but no major issue

Lovely breakfast, nice home baked biscuits available with tea/coffee facility. Nice garden to sit out in. Good location near walk to Griffitts Island or town centre.
Room was compact, but comfortable. Parkin easy outside property.
Might have been one-off due to being close to Christmas, but there was a party going on downstairs and was quite noisy until very late (past midnight from memory). Light sleepers would have found it hard to get to sleep.

Great breakfast, fresh pressed orange & grapefruit juice.
Unique staying experience upstairs.
Lots of cracks on the wall might need to be have a look at. Upstairs room suits for a one night stay - if you would like to have somewhere staying more than a night, try downstairs or other places.
