Luxurious bungalow in a natural park.

The bungalow was luxurious, the park (the butterflies and the pisotees and the monkeys!) was a treat, walking over the hanging bridges up to the lake or up to the waterfalls.

The staff were not too open and enthusiast about eating at the spot at any time. Again, we were pretty much alone, so perhaps they have not found the rythm yet?

Overall a great stay, got to use all that the reserve had to offer and also explore the nearby city.

A great hotel in the natural reserve. It has access to all the amenities of the reserve. The room was great, comfortable. We had access to a private beach on the lake (10-15 minute walk), amazing view, and got to swim. There’s also a path to a beautiful waterfall. We got to feed some pizotes and monkeys on the property (had to get bananas in the city). The butterfly dome is included in the stay. And for additional pay we got do go zip lining (with a discount), that was an amazing experience, the views were breathtaking.

It’s a little far away from the city, but the personnel ordered tuktuks for us and gave us the price range so that we don’t get scammed. It would’ve been nice to have a phone in the room to be able to call reception (to arrange taxis, or for questions). The shower head was weird it would just mist water all over.

Nice facilities in a wonderful location

Breakfast was good quality. Restaurant was a little slow but food was good and prices reasonable. Easy to call a tuk tuk to go to town for 10 quetzales per person.

The booking.com price did not reflect the taxes and fees I was charged. The on site restaurant closes at 5pm unless you order that morning.

English speaking was hard to come by. My Spanish is not great but I would expect when you advertise on an English-centric site, someone would be able to communicate. Nevertheless, we got by.

The cafe had very limited hours and dinner was always an issue. Not many other options close by.

Living in a mountain fantasy for a couple of days.

The facilities are amazing. Waterfalls, hikes, rivers, monkeys, coatis, hanging bridges! What more carb anyone ask for?!

The walls on the room where extremely thin. 😬

they don’t have menus to order delivery of food, kayaks in the private beach to use and don’t have a phone to reach reception.

great place if you don’t want the bustle of Pana but also don’t want to be too far from it

Remote, quiet, in the middle of jungle. they also have private stretch of the lakeside beach (but you have to hike for 10 mins to get there)

if you’re hungry in the evening you have to walk/get a mototaxi to Pana

great place to stay as lot to do within the reserve and close to town

that it was inside a nature reserve

no screens in the windows so could not keep open windows or patio doors due to bugs and possible animals

I highly recommend, sad to leave

To stay inside a nature preserve was exquisite and beautiful, to have access to the park off hours was a bonus. Fell in love with a local monkey even though she stole my sneaker. Falling asleep with the sound of the waterfall was wonderful Bathrooms were phenomenal, two showers two sinks and toilet in a separate room

Noticed on my bill they charged me for the breakfasts that were supposed to be complimentary

The place is beautiful. Really nice nature, coati babies with their mums around at breakfast, spider monkeys, nature trails and a beach.

Unfortunately the room was not amazing and the bed was uncomfortable. Layout was strange, room was cold, shower was not good.

It is perfect for a family trip but if you are looking for Party it’s a little complicated since it’s not in the center of Pana

Peaceful place to recharge

When you stay here you can explore the entire reserve. It’s very quiet at night.

The wifi is spotty but this forced me to stay off electronics, which was my goal. Just don’t depend on it if you really need it. It works well in the reception area.

Isnt that I didnt but the lack of concondarnce or consistency between which room is which... because on your page rooms are listed as doble room with balcony or doble deluxe with balcony, and at the place are just as pisos bajos and pisos altos, where pisos altos better than pisos bajo, and expecting that double deluxe rooms are better than double rooms with balcony, I booked the "deluxe ones"(2 of them) and turned out that was the opposite as we got in the end, where they gave us the simpliest ones(double rooms) instead of deluxe ones... pretty inconforming, but that didnt make the stay quite bad, we enjoyed a lot even though ... thanks. Regards
