Zambezi Dusk is located on a beautiful property with views of frequent visits from elephant, buffalo, and plains game right across the river. There is a spacious deck with various comfortable seating options for viewing wildlife, dining, or enjoying a drink. The food quality and presentation is that of what you would find at an upscale restaurant. We had some of our most favorite meals at Zambezi dusk and it was only 4 nights out of a 22 day stay! I can not say enough about the kitchen and wait staff! The game boat ride was a great bonus! All of the staff went above and beyond in many aspects, we can’t thank them enough. As far as location we loved that it was secluded and private exactly what we were looking for. The gardens and view from restaurant are better than pictures.
Taxi fares were quite high. It is pretty far from activities so you need to plan ahead for time and cab fares. With that said it was private so very worth it for us! They were also very good about helping us plan all activities and arrange cabs which made it easy.

A real adventure! The Lodge is situated far away from the city, right at the shore of the Sambesi River. Extremely quiet and peaceful at night with a million stars above. But be careful: The hippos come out of the river at night and you better stay inside of your chalet. We were instructed that this would happen and at night they accompanied us from dinner to our chalets. Super friendly staff organized a tour to the Victoria falls and through the city of Livingstone.

Loved, loved, loved my stay at Camp Nkwazi! The Chalets are top notch, beautifully furnished, cozy and comfortable, have well working bath facilities and are kept very clean. The porch of the chalet overlooking the Zambezi is the perfect reading spot and fulfilled my safari dreams. The whole property is lush and green and makes a relaxing oasis in the dry season. Also each member of the staff was extremely kind and nice to talk to. Excellent service. Thank you for taking such good care of me! Wish I could have stayed longer. 100% recommendation.

Splendid in every single way - from the unique, immersive concept, to the extraordinary setting overlooking the Zambezi, and the first-rate hospitality of the host, Salomé. Would recommend without a second’s hesitation.

Location and the sounds during the night are amazing! Staff was friendly and super helpful. One of the best stays I have stayed in Zambia.
I would appreciate more directions to the camp as when driving in night there were doubts.

The employees are excellent and extremely professional.
You can't order any food à la carte. You need to order in advance your breakfast, lunch and dinner. These are too copious and very expensive. We don't want always a 4 course dinner. Another thing is, that we had a friend visiting is at night. Because it's too far from the city, there was no taxi to bring her back. She slept with us and left early morning. We had to pay US$ 120 for this. This is a month salary in Zambia for 8 hours in the same bed. During our stay there was hardly any electricity. Continously power failure. They have a generator for the reception area, which they use once and a while. But not for the tents.

EVERYTHING. The hosts were amazing. Dinner was WAY better than we had on the trip at ANY other lodge. I was VERY satisfied.
What is there NOT to like....
