Really lovely place! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely! Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Would highly recommend this option for anyone visiting the unique village of Nyksund.
Only minor issue was twin bed was not a twin. . It was a double.

Cosy room and clean bathroom, sauna and kitschen. Wonderful staff and beautiful sea.
Cleanness, tastefully decorated B&B both bedrooms and kitschen. Very hardworking and friendly straff.

The restaurant downstairs is nice and waiters also good.
Breakfast also very good
We had room 8.
A very small room, with on one side a public livingroom and the other side screaming seagulls.
The walls are thin so we had to ask the people at 23:00 sitting and laughing in the livingroom to please be quiet.
In their defense they were not loud or rude and did went to their rooms.
The seagulls where a nightmare.
Hundreds of screaming birds. A shame I cannot upload a soundclip i made.
Weirdly enough if you sit in the restaurant downstairs you don’t hear them, so it might be that it was only our room that was noisy.
And last but not least, the shower was not that clean ( ventilator full of dust and some mold)
If you want to have a nice meal you are are at the right spot. If you want to have a good sleep, don’t go here or at least avoid roomnumber 8!

Beautiful old fishing village, that is being restored. The hotel is a charming old house nicely restored by the owner. Owesome wild landscapes, mountain and see. The food is delicious. All in all a unique experience!

the shared and kitchen is great, very well equipped and spacious.
the shower was very good as well. the room was decent size and the view from the windows very good as well
the road leading to Nyksund is very narrow and driving to the hotel and the town at night and when it snows is very unpleasant and potentially dangerous for people not accustomed to driving in snow

A friendly place that caters to people who love the outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hiking the Dronningruta and enjoying the cuisine, which is the absolute best. Do not mist the “Taste of Northern Norway”. The baccalo is outstanding.
Nothing.

We had the best time. Fantastic food in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff. Cozy room with beautiful beautiful view towards the sea. Nyksund itself is a charming place with lots of hiking and fishing- possibilities.

excellent accommodation is such a cute, remote village! room and facilities as expected and quite comfortable. the staff went the extra mile, ensuring I had blankets when choosing to sit outside and soak up a cloudless day, and packing a to-go breakfast when I decided to leave early AM on a whim for a hike. could have stayed several days more!

One of the very few accommodations available in Nyksund, very nice town, excellent diner (especially the fish soup)

The personnel was excellent - although we arrived late, there was possibility to eat, and leaving early there was great breakfast left to the fridge. The whole milieu is special, definitely worth visiting!
Room and shower was a bit small, but it was ok in relation to the price.

The staff and their service level at top. Our three-course dinner was perfect for us. Superb continental breakfast. The place is unique, heavenly sponsored by nature at its best.

We appreciate the kindness of the guest and the chef, really dedicated and arranging. Amazing and delicious breakfast and the best stockfish we ate in Lofoten. We really recommend Nyksund Ekspedisjonen!

Great location, with restaurant. Wonderful breakfast!

The breakfast was really good. The room was clean and stylish.
There were a few things that made the stay less pleasant than it could be.
- The check-in was not smooth. We tried calling around noon to ask for an early check-in, but there was no answer. We eventually got to check-in after the restaurant opened, and we checked in at the counter of the restaurant, which was crowded and busy and not a comfortable experience.
- According to the list of room facilities, the room was supposed to have a sauna. It didn't. This was the main reason to why we booked the room, so naturally we were disappointed. As the restaurant was busy, we did not want to ask the staff if there was a sauna elsewhere.
- When we wanted to check out, there was no staff by the counter. We waited for five minutes, until someone showed up, who said that someone else would come. After we finally got to check out, we had to hurry out to get the bus.

A lovely and genuine place with delicate and tasty food, great service and a marvelous hiking area with a magnificent scenery.
Don't forget to bring your earplugs as the seagull may start their day earlier than you 😄
