Perfect location situated close to the town center. The house was very cozy and spacious and accommodating. Margarita was amazing taking care of us in the morning the garden was beautiful. Definitely recommended for families coming to Peru for the first time.
Perfect getaway, but still connected to all

It's a WONDERFUL property, with great views and a well kept and beautiful house. Margarita and Raul (the house keppers) were always one step ahead of us to help us make our stay more enjoyable. Would definitively come back again!

I recently led a group of 16 adults to Peru with the help of Hernan and his network of skilled drivers, guides and house staff. Booking this property was the best thing I did for my Peruvian Adventure. Many in my group have said this was the best vacation they have ever had. I cannot thank Hernan enough for making it so.
I rented both villas for 5 days and worked with Hernan in planning our experience according to our interests and needs. I highly recommend this property and Hernan's assistance to anyone considering the Sacred Valley and travels beyond to Cusco, Puno, Colca Canyon, and Arequipa. Hernan can and will provide transportation and guides as needed.
We were picked up at the Cusco airport by Walter (our driver for nearly 2 weeks) and Juan (our guide for the first week who is el maximo! simply the best person ever). They were professional and personable, so much so that there were big tears when we had to say our goodbyes. Together we shared the sights of the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. We were well rested in the beautiful grounds of the villas with the attentive staff (Martha is beautiful in every way) available to help us with anything we needed after full days out and about.
Our 20 passenger Sprinter Van with Walter at the helm was always timely and happy to stop at the market in town for extra water and wine at the end of our touring days or evening dinners in Urubamba.
The villas are magnificent, beginning the day with a fantastic breakfast and ending with a fire in the hearth. The bedrooms worked well for our mixed group of couples and singles. We lacked for nothing. It was soothing to wake each morning to the vistas of the mountains and gardens. We even had a rainbow one afternoon! Traveling can be exhausting, especially with the addition of altitude issues, the villas provided space to rest; a true home away from home.
Hernan helped us on our second week in Peru when we left the Sacred Valley. He set up our driver (Walter is our hero and friend now) and a guide (Leo, professional and fun) to escort us to Puno/Lake Titicaca, Colca Canyon and Arequipa. It was so nice to have the familiarity of Hernan's help even after we left the property.
We felt so cared for our entire trip. This was far more than renting a place to stay for a few days. Our experience was a broadening of our family through Hernan and his beautiful property, staff and local contacts. Our experience was very special to us. Thank you Hernan!

Sacred Valley Private House
Clean home in quiet central Sacred Valley. On site staff is what makes the experience tops—Margarita and Raul are keepers, as well as the prearranged tour staff. Thank you for a great vacation!

The property was lovely with beautiful gardens, views, and decor. The hosts Mone and Hernan were very helpful. This is an excellent spot to explore the sacred valley. If you are driving, be warned the property is at the end of a very narrow dirt road/alley with walls on either side but well worth it!!

Amazing Stay!
My group and I had an amazing stay here. We had absolutely nothing but good things to say about our time here at all. I would highly recommend using their tours and services as well. The driver and tour guides we had were great! All were extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. The dinner the cooks made for us was phenomenal.
Again we have nothing but good things to say about this stay.
I would highly recommend.

Mom & Daughter getaway
My daughter and I spent her spring break from teaching in the US by visit to Peru. The Sacred Valley was definitely an experience in how Peruvians live in a small town and the views traveling to Urubamba from Cusco were awesome. Margarita was very kind and helpful. The villa was clean and safe. Great space for a small or larger group. Even though the owners, Hernan and Mone were not in Urubamba during our stay, they were very helpful in planning transports and guidance on tickets to machu picchu when we had some difficulty. Very flexible in our change of plans in departure as well. I would recommend this villa if you plan to stay in Urubamba.

This beautiful property was just as pictured and so much more!
We had an amazing family vacation in Peru and much of the credit goes to Hernan and his staff for making the trip go so smoothly. The villa was beautiful and so comfortable! The staff was very accommodating to our every need. Margarita prepared breakfast for us each morning and a fire was lit each evening after our days of exploring the beautiful country. They even helped us order pizza and have it delivered.
During our planning for the trip I messaged Hernan and told him what activities we were interested in doing and he set up our excursions and sent me detailed information on each one. I had many questions as we were preparing to visit a new country and he was so patient and answered everything I asked.
We fell in love with Peru, the people and the rich history and culture of this beautiful country.
If you are planning a trip to Peru this villa and staff is a must!

Our family had a wonderful 4 night stay at Kampu Wasi. The house is lovely- just as in the photos. The beds were comfortable and the entire place was very clean. The home is very spacious with plenty of room to spread out. We really enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings.
Margarita and Raul were excellent hosts who were always available to help out. Margarita cooked us a delicious breakfast each day which was much appreciated. They also helped with calling taxis and even ordering pizzas one night.
The home is in a good location for seeing many of the sights in the Sacred Valley. It is down a very narrow, unpaved road, but the local drivers seemed to have no problems!
I would recommend this home to other families looking for a large, well appointed vacation rental. Excellent experience in every way.

This home has such charm and beauty! The location was quite ideal for touring the area, and the homeowners and onsite caretakers make transportation easy. Definitely recommend this home!
Helpful hints for travelers: Bring some slippers, the tile floors are quite cold(when we stayed in June) and SLIPPERY if only wearing socks. The plugs in the house are all American outlets. There is a hair dryer, however the staff keeps it in a locked storeroom and you'll need to ask for it.

The whole experience was fabulous. We are travelling from Australia with 3children so I wanted to make sure things were organised when we arrived. Mone and Herman booked transfers from the airport to their house, sightseeing tours ( also a shout out to our fabulously knowledgeable and entertains guide Elvis from Elvis treks Peru -look him up if you're after a great guide), arranged for a driver to pick us up at 4:00am to get us to the train to macchu Picchu and even rescheduled a trip for us when one of our kids had altitude sickness. Also thanks for recommending El Huacatay restaurant - an amazing oasis with stunning food and a see-saw!!
Finally Margarita the amazing house keeper - nothing was too much trouble for her and we all had so much fun communicating with a tiny bit of Spanish , a tiny bit of English and a google translator. Oh, and she does amazing eggs
Totally totally recommend this beautiful sanctuary in a stunning part of the world ( oh, and the views from the house are amazing).
Thank you so much for having us

Beautiful home and location, perfect for a family or group trip
We rented this home for a family trip. We were 7 adults and 2 young kids (6 and 3). Everyone had a comfortable room and the common areas were enjoyed fully. The house is beautiful and welcoming. The kitchen is big enough without taking up more room than needed. There are multiple bathrooms and showers to avoid waiting for others to get ready.
The yard is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains. It is 100% safe for smaller children.
While we were there, the other two houses were occupied, but the place is set up nicely so we still had plenty of privacy.
The staff was helpful, pleasant and reliable.
We loved it and will definitely rent it again if we're ever in the area.
** The hosts are available, pleasant and very helpful.

Beautiful place, amazing hosts
Beautiful house, great location! Perfect place for a group of 8. Margarita and Raul were great hosts. It was great having breakfast included with coffee and fresh squeezed juice every morning and a fire built for us every evening. The house is quite new and very clean. We used their transportation and tours which were excellent. Our driver was Walter for all the tours, airport transfers and ride to the train station for our Machu Picchu day. He parked and made sure that we got to the train ok, and was there waiting for us to go back to the house at the end of the day. Much appreciated! We had a nice big van all to ourselves. Our guide Marco spoke English very well and was very knowledgeable about Peru and the Inca culture. It was a great experience!

Lovely villa in a beautiful valley with helpful staff
What can I say - this house was amazing! Such a lovely home which fit our group of six with more room to spare. Mona and Herman were very responsive to any questions and the staff on site were extremely nice and supportive. A yummy homemade breakfast awaited us each morning and firewood at night for a relaxing fire as we all gathered around to share pictures of each day. The location is central to many sights within the Sacred Valley. We booked the transportation services and guides through Mona and Herman which were wonderful. Would highly recommend this rental to anyone!

Did not want to leave
What an outstanding stay, our family loved our vacation at Kantuwasi, Morne and Hernan were excellent leading up to our stay with quick responses to any questions. Raul, Margarita, Carmen and Jorge were incredible while we were at the villa. The property is maintained perfectly, breakfast prepared by Carmen is excellent. We had Pachamanca prepared by Raul, Carmen, Margarita and Jorge which was a great experience and one that I would recommend. Highly, highly recommend!

Beautiful property
Loved this beautiful home for our group of 11. Very well situated for touring the sacred valley. Caretakers were so nice and helpful- they took the Moro taxi to town to get us pizza when we arrived late after a long day in Machu Picchu. Great breakfast provided..

INCREDIBLE!!! We did not want to leave!!
The property is beautiful, spacious yet intimate. The groundskeepers are fantastic and were very helpful in helping us negotiate our travel plans. I never heard the sound of a siren, the clamor of traffic, the wake of airplanes, just the sounds of nature afforded by the villa. It is our plan to come back with our complete family (BEFORE the new airport is built) do that they can enjoy the magic and mystery of Peru. Thank you for sharing your community with us!

Lovely place and excellent service in Urubamba.
The house Kampuwasi was an excellent choice, combining very good location in Urubamba with very beautiful gardens, a local rustic decor and very functional environments for a large family looking for comfort and above all with excellent service by the staff in charge. Highly recommended, we want to return as soon as possible.
