Breakfast was delicious, nice to have choices. Shelly always greeted us with coffee and fresh orange juice. Shelly and Sylvia were very attentive and pleasant.
to have a view from our bedroom windows but we did go up to the rooftop and enjoyed the panoramic view up there.

Limpieza
Ubicación
Cama muy cómoda
Jardines bonitos y bien cuidados

Perfectly situated in town, right next to a main square. Cute and charming. The cost included breakfast which was really good - there was some variety and you order with a menu. There is natural light in the room, although the window faced inwards to the courtyard. The Wi-Fi worked well, you just had to switch networks as you move around the hotel. There is a nice courtyard area with lots of seating, and a rooftop with a table and views as well. Great value for the price.
The room my sister and I had was on the first floor and the window only faced inwards - there was natural light, but a bit awkward as it faced the stairs. The shower didn't work at one point, but the front desk fixed it immediately. The TV did not work. The beds are pretty hard but acceptable. The main issue I had was the gated door to the street - you need to ask for someone to let you in and out. Getting out was usually quick, but we tried to get in at night and had to knock on the door for some time until the owner woke up to let us in, which left us feeling vulnerable while locked out. Easy fix giving guests a key to the outside door.

De locatie was fijn gelegen
Bad deed het niet en is geen volwaardig bad zo klein, slechte WiFi, personeel oneindig aan het rekenen over de prijs.

The location couldn’t have been better! Easy walk to everything. The hotel was very secure with the front gate having to be unlocked every time someone enters or exits the property, so I always felt like I was safe along with all my belongings. The staff was very trustworthy and helpful and cleaned our rooms daily. I even accidentally left some of my belongings when I checked out and didn’t realize until I was all the way in Atitlan. The staff was so incredibly helpful and helped arrange for my things to be dropped off to me in Guatemala City a few days later. I can’t thank them enough for the hospitality and kindness. I would definitely stay here again! Jenny was really awesome!

The photos are true to life- this hotel has so much colonial character and in such a central location! The beds and pillows were so comfortable, and Jenny and Roxanna are the most hardworking, friendly hosts.
Don’t forget to spend some time in the courtyard and the rooftop! Amazing views of volcanos. Also, a fireplace! There is a little restaurant- like setup for the included desayuno in the front.
We stayed for 2 nights, then returned for one more night. Highly recommend!!
Honestly- nothing to dislike.

Staff was awesome!
Where to start…first the bad news, stayed 3 nights.
1. TV is CRT from the 1990s, but that’s ok because it didn’t work anyway. What else are you going to put in that armoire?
2. Get to know your neighbors so that you can coordinate showers. Not enough water pressure. Only one or two other guests. Now I know why.
3. Speaking of showers, turn the hot water on, then go have breakfast (quite good); maybe it’ll be hot by the time you get back
4. Bed: hostel quality with a NYC Marriott price
5. Bring your own toilet paper. They skimp.
6. Lobby furniture is garage sale quality. “Library” is about a dozen books - mostly religious.
7. Noisy area. Banging could be heard all night. There might be a bar nearby.
8. One woman operation who makes breakfast, serves it, minds the door and the office. Nice lady.
Classic Latin America predatory practice: charge the tourists mucho, provide crap, pay the help crap.

Great location. Very nice staff, although most spoke no English. Pleasant and clean room.
Breakfast was not great - after the first morning, we chose to have breakfast elsewhere in Antigua.

Great location. Close to the center of things.
Excellent location for viewing Easter processions (we watched one pass from the window of the dining room) and walking to see the alfombras being created durinb semana santa.
Included breakfast was tasty.
Room was big with comfy beds.
Good shower with hot water but a bit of an ineffective shower curtain so watch out or you'll have a puddle on the floor.
Lots of eating options on the street.
Safe area.
We paid about 3 times the normal amount due to visiting during Easter. We knew this before coming but it still hurt the pocket.
It is quite inconvenient to have to wait to be let in and out each time as the front door is locked and the reception has the only key.

The women who run this hotel are so hardworking and very capable and valuable. They constantly run to open to the doors when people arrive and are there serving breakfast in the morning and closing up the hotel at night. They are a huge asset to the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and served quickly and well. The patio/garden area is lovely.
The bed was ok, not excellent.

Lovely place to stay, the rooms are so pretty with fireplaces in the corners and Guatamalen textiles on the beds, and the beautiful old architectural features of a home well over 100 years old. The breakfast was yummy, and the woman who brought our food also brought plenty of coffee. The posada is on a good street and it is very convenient to walk to all the museums and shopping and restaurants. I will definitely stay here on future visits to Antigua.
The only thing that was a bit annoying was from the neighboring restaurant fairly late at night, making it a bit hard to sleep.

Sylvia and Jennie kept our rooms very clean and made sure we had everything. Our breakfasts were served quickly and warm! We also liked the security...knowing the front gate was always locked.
Location was great!

The staff were helpful and rooms cleaned exceptionally well. Jenny checked us in in the middle of the night which was a hardship I’m sure but she was very gracious.
We lost power one night in the whole city but found a place to get a brick oven pizza and ate by candlelight in the dinning room with Jenny.
The roof terrace has beautiful views and each room has a fireplace and traditional textiles. It’s a lovely traditional hotel built around a courtyard. Easy walking distance to everything .

good breakfast, and a pretty hotel. The staff was nice and our bed was comfortable.
Our room was kind of dark, and there was an issue with the toliet running, that eventually got fixed.

A truly charming inn that I will visit again. I splurged on a suite with a balcony and volcano view and congratulated myself on the decision every morning. Very comfortable bed and pillows and extremely clean. Lovely inner courtyard and a back garden where you can rest under the shade of an avocado tree. Jenny and the rest of the staff made me feel at home and provided a tasty breakfast every morning. Perfect location for me as I speak no Spanish and had never been to Antigua - there’s a coffee shop right next door with a little convenience store beside it and more restaurants on the block than you could eat at in a week. Guided walking tours also start outside Iglesia de La Merced (the yellow church) on the next block.
There was some confusion about pickup from the airport as I lost cell service before they confirmed. A note the day before could have avoided this. Getting a taxi was no problem though. Just unfortunate that the driver's time was wasted.

spacious and very nice rooms, beautiful hotel and garden with good breakfast. at the edge of downtown Antigua, 10 minute walk to main square.
no keys provided for front door, therefore one must always ring the door bell.

Beautiful place, and wonderful staff. Jenny and Silvia were our cleaners and took great care of us. Left extra blankets on our beds when the weather called for it, and even came and lit a fire in our room one afternoon and throughout our stay made sure we had everything we needed. Very clean, welcoming place, great breakfast.

the location, close to everything. The staff was excellent.

Great location with a pretty inner courtyard, huge avocado tree and view of the volcanoes from the rooftop. Breakfast was good.
Wifi only worked in the ground floor. Had to ring a bell to be let into the property. Loud church bells in the morning.
