Overall the location of the property was very nice. The main floors and bathrooms did not appear to have been cleaned recently. There were sticky spots on the floors and hair on the bathroom floors as well as in the toilets.
The master bed is broken and very uncomfortable, it was hard to sleep in.

The house backs up to a pine forest. My daughter, dogs, and I really enjoyed hanging out on the back patio listening to the wind in the pine trees. The house was clean and had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils so I could easily make dinners. There were a few things I had questions about, and the owner responded promptly.

We loved this cabin and will definitely be back. Perfect for couples with kids. The kitchen was stocked..we cooked every meal and avoided the crowds in flagstaff. Our favorite was enjoying wine on the patio while our dog watched all the birds and squirrels. So fun! Also, hiking trails are close!

Beautiful House in a perfect forest
We stayed in this home with two other families. It was a fantastic house that was big enough for all of us to enjoy ourselves together and also slip away if we needed some private time. The home is much bigger than it seemed in the picture and it backs up right to the forest which was gorgeous. We were concerned because a previous renter had complained about pots and pans, but there was an abundance. We did have an issues with the kitchen drain backing up and the owners of the rental were very quick to respond and sent someone out very quickly. The owners also provide a service for plowing the driveway and cleaning off the walkway if requested which was a nice feature since it snowed a lot.
The home is close to the Family Dollar store and the gas station just down the road. It was probably only 10 minutes from Flagstaff itself. The main roads up to the house can be pretty steep and slippery if there is snow, but they were pretty well maintained and plowed. We did need to use our 4WD a few times when the roads were slick and I noticed a few front wheel drive vehicles that were stuck.
There is a really cute little add-on sitting room which is a great addition and where we spent a lot of our time. It is hard to maintain an even temperature in that space though so there was a silent battle going on between members of the family of turning the heat up and then down again. The heat definitely rises so you need to keep the temperature lower upstairs than you would think. We just brought some extra throw blankets and that really helped when sitting in that room. The house was decorated for Christmas which was really sweet.
There were tons of games and toys for the kids and even sleds in the garage which was awesome. We lugged ours all the way up there and we didn't even need to. The fireplace was great and we used it a lot. There were also a lot of spices which was a surprise to us and much appreciated.
I would highly recommend this house. We had a fantastic time and some members of the family never even left because they didn't feel the need to. :). We hope to come back sometime and enjoy a different season here like summer or fall.

Disappointed
Not as described. Furniture stained, carpet stained, patio dirty with broken furniture. Towels with holes, pillows need replacing. Overall, the property just needs a refresh.

House Needs Lots of TLC
The layout of the house was what we needed our family gathering. 8 people fit comfortably in the house, and the inside-outside design of the house was lovely (we spent a lot of time on the deck!). The owners left clear, easy-to-follow instructions for checking in. It was very clean when we arrived.
But it is clear this is a property purchased by managers for income, and that income doesn't go back into the house. Many lightbulbs were burned out. There were mice in the house (not completely unexpected, given the wooded location, but still a surprise inside a fully finished house - there didn't seem to be any sort of pest management on the property). Some patio chairs are broken, and the patio umbrella doesn't open. Multiple lamps in the house had broken switches, and multiple fans and air conditioning units did not work (and we needed them - it was 90 degrees the weekend we stayed!). The ignition button on the grill doesn't work, so you need to buy a lighter to start a flame. If you run out of propane in the grill, you are responsible for going into town to get a full tank; ditto for purchasing fans - this was particularly surprising, given that the last thing we want to do when staying in a vacation home with family we haven't seen for two years is run errands on behalf of the people we're renting from. It seems the owners of the house are simply that - owners, not hands-on managers. If they invested a little more into the upkeep of the house, it would be a real gem.
There's one major issue that can't be fixed by a handyman, and that's the four dogs living across the street. They barked ALL. the. time. It was constant, even through the night, so if you're a light sleeper and/or considering renting the property in the warmer months (when the windows will be open), be aware that you'll have that soundtrack playing in the background.
In all, this was fine. Not bad, not great - just fine. If you're looking for a rental that wows, this isn't really it. But if you just need a place to crash for a few nights, this will suffice.

Perfect Family Getaway
The perfect house for family with teens! The check in process was very easy and having garage access was very nice. The wrap around deck was a perfect place to relax as you gaze into the pine forest. Plenty of windows to capture the beautiful nature surrounding you. The kitchen was nice and open and perfect for hanging out with the fam while cooking. Plenty of seating inside and out.

Great layout
Until I stayed at the cabin it was hard to tell what the layout was like exactly but this cabin is a huge surprise upon arrival. The open downstairs area is very spacious with three eating areas (two tables and a counter). There's a mudroom/laundry/foyer as you enter from the garage. There's a big powder room with pantry. There's a fireside sitting area, the family area and then a reading area with a spectacular forest view. The master is spacious with a huge bathroom. Then upstairs there are two super large bedrooms and a enormous loft area. There is so much space and all the windows are perfectly setup so you don't see the neighbors and just see massively tall Ponderosa Pines. Pretty amazing place and you can see why the adjacent cabins are all full-time residents given how close you are to nature's finest.

Peaceful Mountain Getaway
We wanted to get away from it all and have good access for day trips to the parks, hiking, Sedona, and the rest of Northern Arizona. While only 10 minutes outside of Flagstaff, you feel like a world away in this Kachina Village mountain community. The house has all you will need except food, so hit the grocery store on the way or be surprised by the good restaurants in Flagstaff. Enjoy!

Great cabin!
We had an amazing time at this property. The pictures don't do it justice. Great interior and the property is gorgeous. No homes directly behind the property, so it gives it a great isolated feel. Lots of snow during our stay and the backyard proved to be a great sledding spot. Kachina Village is a great location...close to Flagstaff, but you feel like you're truly in the woods. We didn't really need anything during our stay, but I could tell by the emails from Katannya that any issues would've been resolved quickly. Will definitely stay here again!

Stunning and quiet cabin
This cabin had a great ambience. The owners have everything you need for a family getaway: firewood, sleds for snowy days, washer/dryer, extra towels, new cookware, great decor.

Such an amazing home in an amazing location! Our kids had so much fun sledding behind the house! Close to downtown flagstaff! Can’t wait to go back!!

Very Nice place
Beautiful place. Lots of room for a big family. 5 beds in one room was great fir kids and or younger family. Beds were comfy. Patio was beyond amazing, wraps all the way around the back of the house. Had a couple small problems and they were addressed immediately. Dogs had a fenced in yard. The neighborhood and neighbors are beyond friendly... Only thing I had issues with was the pots and pans.... they were really worn and old. I’ll definitely rebook this place in the near future. Loved it...

Okay overall, but experienced some challenges...
The house is in good shape. Inside was relatively clean, but struck me as being superficially clean. Kids enjoyed the Wii and the toys that were available, however, one big disappointment was the nearly non-existent Wi-Fi (could not even send a social media update). Also, the house was HOT...over 80 degrees each day we were there, and there is no AC to assist with that. One reason we visit Flagstaff is to escape the heat of the Phoenix valley during the summer, and it was supremely disappointing to have to endure hot temperatures while at this house, especially when trying to sleep. The mornings were cool, but didn't take long to heat up again. If you're looking for more of a "disconnected" break during the cooler months of the year then this house may be a good destination.

Even better than the photos!
We had 2 families with 6 kids under the age of 7. This places fit us perfectly. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked well. Location was great as it was in s dead end road so not much traffic or noise. There was plenty for the kids to do with books and toys and video games (if they were older). The Dollar General as you come in has pretty much everything you need that you may have forgotten except produce...and the park just behind it was great, the kids loved it. All in all a wonderful relaxing escape from the heat....thank you so much! We are thinking of staying in the winter sometime to see the snow 😊

Beautiful Home
The rental home is beautiful and has an excellent view of the pine trees. The kids had a great time upstairs playing games and watching TV. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. There is no AC and as we stayed here in July, it was very uncomfortable in the evenings with the temperatures well above 80 degrees inside. Turning on the fans and opening the windows helped, but it was still very warm at night.

Great Place/too may issues
We had several issues that 'popped up' during our stay, but the most important thing is that when we found a problem Molly & Eric (Realtors) resolved it immediately. Thanks so much for them!

Amazing Cabin near Flagstaff
The pictures did not do this cabin justice. The house is beautiful and spacious. We had 12 staying there and it did not feel crowded. Eric was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would love to stay here again!

Very nice property and has everything you need to feel at home.
This house is in a great location to enjoy all that this area of Arizona has to offer. We were within driving distance to many of the National parks: Petrified Forest and Painted Desert, Montezuma's Well and Castle, Sedona Red Rocks, and the Grand Canyon. The only thing I would do differently about our vacation is plan a longer stay in order to have time to see everything. You really need at least 2 weeks. Guess we will have to return one day. This home worked well for our two families, and it was great to be able to spend time together sharing meals and playing games.

The property was clean, well maintained, and had stunning views.
Such a great location! We went on a day trip to Sedona, went on hikes, and had a beautiful snow fall. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there was plenty of room. Fabulous! Highly recommend!

Christmas in Flagstaff
Overall, I would rate it very good. We had a good time and the location is excellent. The space is good for our family of 12, age range 1 month to 80 years. The kitchen was a good space for us to cook, something all of us like to do. Unfortunately there is no exhaust fan so when we got the electric stove too hot we had to open the windows and let in all the cold air.
There was space for everyone to sleep but only the queen size bed is really comfortable. It seemed like there were not enough blankets for all the beds. The water pressure downstairs is poor and the down stairs shower is really wimpy. Again, no exhaust fans.
There were numerous holes in the walls where something had been hung. You might think those would be patched and painted over, but no. The house was kind of dusty, dead bugs on the window sills, cob webs on the lamp shades.
We had a few more problems and I want to compliment the managers who even came on Christmas Day to bring a new propane tank for the grill.
