A dream place!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Ammoudia Maisonettes! The people who worked there were very friendly and welcoming, and our host even shared some tips and recommendations on what to see in the area. The house was cleaned daily, with fresh towels every 2 days. It was equipped with everything you need to have a peaceful holiday: coffee machine, microwave, toaster etc. Our favourite part was the location of the place: right at the sandy beach, with private sun beds and umbrellas. It was away from the busy street, but less than 5 minutes drive to a lot of restaurants and shops. There is a small beach cafe at the neighbouring hotel, where you can get drinks and food, if you don’t feel like driving. If you’re looking for a dream beach getaway, Ammoudia Maisonettes is the place to be!

We enjoy our stay. Private beach, private and silent place. We love this location and definetly if we return in Corfu we stay again in Ammoudia Maisonettes.

Super small minus - in our room wifi was poor, but if in beach and all over location wifi was perfect.

We had an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again if we visited Corfu again

The location was perfect, just 2 mins walk to the beach. We visited in early June and most of the time we had the beach just to ourshelves which was perfect! The daily cleaning service was exceptional. The location is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. The room was quite spacious and we had all necessary items like a coffee machine, ironing facilities , haidryer etc. The hosts were really sweet and always available to help us with anything we needed.

We liked it that it was in a quiet area The apartment was nice and the staff were friendly Free sunbeds on the beach You need a car in my opinion

The apartment grounds could be improved it was quite near the end of the season so maybe it will be, but they have a lot of space (grass) and they could make it a lot nicer

A wonderful peaceful stay.

This place was beautiful so close to the beach with reserved sun beds. The kitchen was had the appliances you would expect to allow you to cook simple meals. The host was great and the welcome gifts were appreciated.

Really loved location and how close it is to the beach! It's really calm place perfect for family trip.

There were quite a lot of mosquitos, witch made it quite hard to sit late outside.

Perfect position, nice and quiet sandy beach (rather wild), spacious and clean rooms with a nice terrace, very friendly owner and staff

Good pick for North Corfu region

The estate itself is made up of a few houses only, and therefore keeps a private atmosphere, including free sunbeds, sun shelters and direct access to the beach. Calm and quiet, yet well located. Welcoming, kind and helpful personell. Facilities are like on the pictures. Cleanliness is good, with even more frequent cleaning rounds than expected. A car is advised, even if a few facilities (restaurants, beach bars, tavernas) are nearby, and delivery services are available, as the city centre is about 1.5km. The superior maisonette is perfect for families as it is the first set of houses facing the beach. Nice to have a high floor with balcony. We were in high season and people were spread all along the long sandy beach unlike some other nearby beaches like Sidari which are crowded. Private parking.

It would be good to add mosquito nets to the windows and avoid the mandatory use of air conditioning, especially that the wind blows well during the night and it would add an aspect of environmental sustainability.

Relaxing holiday in lovely location

Excellent location, literally less than 2 minutes walk to the beach with sun loungers and parasols provided for guests (nicely spaced apart so you weren't on top of other guests). Easy to pop back to the villa for lunch and to use the bathroom, which was handy as there aren't any facilities on the beach itself. There is a beach bar attached to the next door hotel/resort that non-residents can use to get takeaway food. The apartment was cleaned and bed linen/towels replaced regularly during our stay. The bed was really comfy and huge!

The kitchen/cooking facilities were basic - a microwave and mini oven with two electric rings on top, and no working space apart from the dining table/small area next to the sink - so I wouldn't want to do much more than make a salad or sandwich for lunch there (we didn't - too many nice restaurants to try, or takeaway pizza for the days we couldn't be bothered to go out). You do really need a car to get into the town as it's a bit too far to walk (especially if you are getting supplies).

We stayed here for 3 weeks and liked it a lot! Wonderful place for a small kid (our is 10 month old). We felt very comfortable, apartment is nice, cleaning is everyday and also towels&sheets change is regular. We were provided with bed and chair for the baby, also there are several swings outdoors. The view from the balcony to the sea is amazing, the beach is just in front of the apartment with free sun beds and umbrellas. The beach is sandy. Very quite and calm place to relax with the family. It is recommended to rent a car to get the supermarket/most of the restaurants in Acharavi. However there is a restaurant 5 minutes away by foot (where you can also ask for car rental) and a beach bar.

The location was great: just face to face with the sea. The villa was comfortable and cosy. We had the whole beach in front of the villa just for us. The sea was warm and easy to acces from the beach (sand, no rocks). There are great restaurants in the area, but you really nead a car în order to feel comfortable. Very nice people... In summary: a heavenly nice and quiet place...Will be back...

It was absolutely perfect holliday. We stayed at the Ammoudia Maisonettes comlex with my sisters family (6 adults and 3 children) and we were absolutely satisfied. We would like to come next time. It is perfect destination for pairs and for families as well. Quiet, green, save, clean.... What to say more? Next to the complex is perfect bar and if you want to have a lunch or buy something, its about three minutes to come to the center of Acharavi.

Relaxing beachfront stay for the entire family

This is a place for a relaxing, quiet and easy going holiday. We traveled in a large party, with the extended family, age range 1+ to 80+, so we wanted a suitable-for-all location. The proximity to the wide sandy beach and the shallow clear water in the beginning make for a lovely time. Due to pandemics related precautions we particularly enjoyed the minimum contact the facility provides. We had the studio and a sea view double bedroom maisonette, both of them exactly as described on booking. Georgios was very helpful throughout our stay, observing pandemics-precautions at all times and even producing a string we needed to pull along a kid vehicle :) Btw, there are garden toys spread around. All in all, it’s a good value for money accommodation with extra points for the scenic views of the Ionian Sea.

The surroundings, leading to the main road to the village with no side walk are not particularly nice when you have to walk cca 1 km to the closest shop, especially with a stroller pushed by grandmother. However, it proved to be a very minor inconvenience. Georgios provided us with a list of restaurants, coffee shops and even supermarkets with (fast) delivery service. More over, having a rental car to visit the attractions of the island and also do last minute shopping was very helpful. Not to mention that there are restaurants and beach bars within walking distance. Bottom line, actually the somewhat remote location worked in our advantage, basically giving the feeling of a wide private beach, far beyond the strip belonging to the property.

Ideal place for a relaxing holiday just a step away from one of the best beaches on the island.

Property is simple but extremely clean and comfortable and in exceptional location. Ideal place for relaxing holiday.

The property delivered exactly what it promised and even more in terms of hospitality by the owner; therefore I cannot find something that we were promised or expected and did not get it. As the only remark, if I may I would say bathrooms could do with a modern upgrade, but they were sufficient.

Probably the best stay in Greece we have been to

Generally eveything! Owner was very helpful, all communication before a throughout the stay was excelent , helped arranging rental car, supplied useful tips for eating out and sightseening, always caring if we are satisfied and dont need anything. Also due to Covid-19, all possible precautions were in place by the owner & staff, very responsible. Place itself was gorgeous, apartment clean (and cleaned generally every day including beautifully made beds) and well equipped, including some refreshement like coffee, delicious local wine or utilities against mosquitos. Also due to covid-19, there were even less people than would usually fit into the area, so most of the time we were almost alone on the kilometers and kilometers of gorgeous sand beach with easy access to water, which was just a few steps from the accomodation. For the purpose of family holidays, if you prefer calm and quiet environment with own cooking from local ingredients or eating out in restaurants rather than crowded hotel with head-on-head full beaches and pools with eating in one place all the time, we can only recommend Ammoudia and should we go to Greece for family holidays, we will choose this place again.

Honestly there wasnt anything we would dislike. Except one thing, which was not related to the accomodation - the mosquito "season" on Corfu started just 2 days before we arrived ;-)
