Enjoyed the stay!

Lovely place... And perfect location for us. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Pleasure to stay there and great breakfast.

Wifi speed wasn't great...wasn't great when using vpn connection on laptop. There is ups on main router which helps during loadshedding. However wifi extenders don't work so will need to get close to the main router if a connection is needed during load shedding.

Friendly staff, good breakfast! Special care to what was requested

The room is extremely chilly! There is aircon but it barely helped and there was a lot of load-shedding which made all the heating utilities redundant. I would suggest that down duvets be placed on the beds as these are warmer than the bedding currently provided.

An attractive guest house with friendly helpful hosts.

An attractive guest house with friendly and efficient staff. The room was comfortable and spacious and the decor of this guest house is very attractive and well maintained. Breakfast in the dining room was very pleasant with lovely cooked to order food. Would recommend.

Comfortable stay 'in the tree tops' with lovely views

I had a lovely stay at Gable Manor. The upstairs suite was spacious and comfortable. It felt like staying in a tree house as all the windows are surrounded by trees. I loved the view from the balcony. The staff were very warm and friendly.

No complaints whatsoever. A comfy chair on the balcony would have been the icing on the cake.

The garden room is spacious and quiet but the facilities let it down.

The breakfast was very good. The garden is pretty.

The room really needed a fridge and a better sized bathroom. There were no extra blankets or duvet. We couldn’t get Wi-Fi to work in our room and had to go to the main house.

Cozy place. Great breakfast in nice extra room. We forgot a pair of glasses in our room and were happy that the service personnel found it, so that we could get it back. It takes a little walk uphill to get to Chamonix and a few minutes more to Dieu Donne, a place you should definitely not miss for great views.

Beautiful house, with a nice little pool, very quiet neighborhood

The host suggested us the area was safe to walk back home in the evening, which we experienced to be a ridiculous suggestion. When talking to other people in town they confirmed to us that walking at night in the area was definitely not a suggested option. To get an uber in the city on a saturday night was also impossible, because no diverse were available, this left us in a rather difficult position.

Comfortable, quiet and cozy.

The Manor is well located away from the hustle and bustle of the main street where all the restaurants and shops are. It is only about 700 meters from the Wine Tram terminal. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We'll return and can recommend it to prospective travelers.

The swimming pool water was very cold because the pool is in the shade for the entire day. One likes to cool off, not freeze, but this is a personal preference.
