Witt och personalen gör ett kanonjobb. Vi är nöjda men hotellet är i behov av renovering.

Trevlig miljö och mycket trevlig personal.

Byggnaden börjar bli sliten. Dålig ventilation i rummet krävde fönster öppet på vid gavel för att hålla rummet svalt på natten. Det gjorde att man vaknade när bussar och andra fordon vände på baksidan av hotellet under natten. Flera eluttag i rummet nära sängen vore välkommet också…

Breakfast was great though confusing/ chaotic how it was served. Great to get coffee and tea free from the lobby 24 hours. The small swimming pool was nice, though our girls skipped the sauna since you had to go through the men's shower.

The rooms were not super clean: sand in the bed, chips under the bed. We thought that the family room would be bigger but it was the same size as the standard double room.

Nice hotel with friendly staff

The reception staff were extraordinarily nice, friendly and efficient. Overall my stay was very smooth, nice and comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the railway station, the city centre, and the university.

Exceptional

Town centre and a couple of minutes walk from the sea and small town beach. Walking distance to food, water, shops and train/ bus station. Helpful staff, good facilities. We enjoyed the pool and the gym Sauna is not on all day so need to time it if you want to use sauna. We went in winter and it was rather quiet, especially during the week.

Extra single bed for our child could have been more comfy, but it was as described when we booked.

Cheap and conveniently located but not much else

The best parts about this hotel are the low price and excellent location, only about a five minute walk from the train station and close to the city center for restaurants and other needed services. Complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits in the hotel lobby.

Other than the location and price, it's not much to rave about. The beds are not the most comfortable, the breakfast is not the best and the facilities are in need of a renovation. But, considering the price you're paying, it lives up the expectations.

there were no near electric outlets near the bed, had to sit on the foot of the bed to charge

Best place to stay when you travel to Kalmar

Old fashioned place with a charm. Very comfy beds. Hotel very clean and comfortable. And what is the most important for me - DELICIOUS FOOD! Scrambled eggs made with eggs, not with egg powder, coffee certified Rainforest Alliance, fresh bread. All fresh and tasty. I will book the same hotel when travel to Kalmar!

The best thing about this hotel is its location,it's just a five-minute walk to the famous beach called cat's butt !

The bed was too soft and the pillows were uncomfortable for sleeping...

Good location, friendly staff.

The hotel was a bit dated and looked nicer in the photos. It was a bit too expensive for what you got. The breakfast wasn't very impressive. The scrambled eggs were watery and the bread was dry.

Great location, very good breakfast.

We had a suite, so the room was very big with a living room and a fridge. There was a nice bathtub and it was really dark at night with the curtains drawn so we could sleep well. The breakfast was also very good with several types of smoothies, fruit, some warm food, cheeses, etc. The staff was very friendly and the pool had long opening hours.

The pool was warm by Swedish standards, but it was a bit short. Since there was a lot of space after the end of the pool it would have been easy to have built it longer.

A thoroughly pleasant stay.

Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the Hotel provided a takeaway option if you where planning on going out at Breakfast time. Th location was perfect for us, east to walk to amenities, restaurants and sites.

On a personal note the beds where a bit too soft for us, although this is not a criticism of the Hotel as they have to find a happy medium for their guests.

If you are looking for hotel with good access to city center could be good option

The Hotel has a great location, you have good access to the city center. the staff were friendly the breakfast and the room cleanness were good.

The only thing was the size of the rooms, I had a double bed, but the size of the room was for a single bed and there was no place for a suitcase in the closet.

Nice and comfortable family stay in the centre of Kalmar City

Really good location, very helpful staff, well maintained cleanliness, all the facilities were good especially Free Coffee and cookies, Used Swimming pool, Sauna and Played Table Tennis, Good Breakfast, my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there

A little bit different choices in breakfast for different days.. overall it is good but a person staying for more days would be more happier if 1-2 choices are new/ replaced from previous day’s menu.
