Lovely hotel on the edge of the town centre, an easy walk away. A quiet location by the small river Erft which caused so much destruction in 2021. Steinsmühle was sadly affected as well but has been tastefully restored. Breakfast was included offering lots of choices.
Our room had a slanted ceiling with the bed underneath which made getting out of bed tricky without knocking one’s head. Otherwise spacious enough and clean.

Location. Staff excellent. Breakfast brilliant.
Looks amazing 👏
Given a 2nd floor room which looked superb. But I am disabled and find stairs difficult. Another room, on the ground floor, was allocated. Unfortunately, the bed was like a camp bed and uncomfortable. Once again, the staff were excellent and found me yet another room. This one was OK but no air con and looked a little bit tired.
All in all, I think I was a bit troublesome through no fault of my own. But the staff sorted everything extremely well.
I would recommend and I may well return if I'm in the area.

The breakfast was the best thing at the hotel. Fresh fruit, great bread, eggs' cheese, etc..
The room was small but that did not matter to me.

Good security
Restaurant and bar were closed either because of Covid, but probably due to personnel shortages. They did offer an "honor refrigerator" downstairs where beer and wine and other drinks were available

Location was just outside the town. The town itself was being rebuilt following the floods, it will be nice to visit once building work is complete.
The hotel itself was also undergoing some external refurbishment and the resturant was closed. It would have been nice to know about the resturant closure before we arrived.
No Advance notice of resturant closure.

charming, great food, great staff

This hotel was not at its best during my stay, as they had the builders in repairing water damage. Due to these repairs the restaurant and other facilities were not available. Despite this I was made to feel welcome and comfortable.
The hotel is located in the industrial area of the town with a 20 to 30 minute walk the old town centre.
I was travelling by motorcycle. I found it difficult to find a hard surface to park my bike due to their deep gravel car park.

A comfortable single room at a fair price. The place is on the north side of town in a quiet location so no traffic noise.

We shall return!

Is it a hotel or a wedding location with bedrooms? The beds are creaky and hard, hotel is old fashioned and noisy (neighbouring rooms + road) and breakfast is average. Generally, ok to stay for one or two nights when nothing else is available.
