The turbulent night

Just the hotel name . ( I am sarcastic)

I paid for the room for two people and had two small children after a car journey of almost 24 hours. As I usually do, I did not need any extra beds. ( My wife and I sleep with the children in the same bed ) The night receptionist, (we arrived around 2am with two children 2-3 years old) He seemed annoyed by this . I paid 49 euro for the room ( fair price) instead of double. If I had paid like that, I would have been so angry. The receptionist gave me a very bad room, probably because of this, nothing worked (not working hair dryer, air conditioning, tv, telephone), Lots of dust ( my wife has allergies ) , water coming out of the tub, We slept with the hot heating on. I had to open the window ( it was an attic room ) and mosquitos... You can imagine. Moreover, there was no breakfast available in the hotel. Hotel Amadeus (three stars) seriously??? Prices for accommodation have risen so much compared to when I lived in Hungary, but you cannot ask this price for dilapidated houses/rooms. You can't make a Skoda sell for the price of a Ferrari Shame on you

Really nice stay

The hotel is really nice. A bit old fashioned but it was clean and silent as we had a room to the back and not to the street. We were able to use the garage for our car for free. But it is really a small one (only 2 cars fit inside) and the way down is really narrow, nothing for big cars. The connection to town is good and takes around 30min (bus and metro) - you can buy the tickets just in front of the hotel. The staff at the hotel was really friendly. We had a nice room with a balcony.

The air conditioning did not work and so it was really hot during summer.

Convenient location for Dental Clinic 4 bus stops away and easy access to more of Budapest initially by bus or trolley bus. Pleasant and comfortable.

Exceptional

Hotel was clean. Room was nice and clean. You can park your car in front of the Hotel or near on the public parking place, during the weekend for free. Price was Ok. I was satisfy with this hotel.

-We had parking -Private bathroom -Big balcony -Bus station next to the hotel -We had an electric kettle in the room

-There wasn't any warm water on the first night of our stay -There was mold in the mini-fridge -The bathroom was also not cleaned properly. The shower cabin and sink was visibly dirty.

The staff was very nice.

It's a very old hotel with old furniture and in bad shape.The room was really dirty,the carpet stained ,there were bread crumbs all over even on the bed witch i found to be really shocking.In the bathroom we had some uninvited friends ,there were ants everywhere,and it was one of the most filthy bathroom that i've ever been in a hotel room.We only stayed for one night (thank god for that).Really disappointed with our stay there. The free parking reffers actually to park wherever you find, as they don't have one.

It worths the price. I recommend to everyone.

I liked the clean, the room and bathroom were well equipped. I think the single room I have booked has met all the conditions that a person travelling alone can expect.

Nice location, was close to where I needed to go. Bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes you to the metro station which gives you easy access to the city centre as well

I have spent nights in better hotels for the money I paid.

The size of the room was good. Good water pressure. We only stayed the night, but the staff was wonderful and they seemed helpful. The wifi was fast.

There is a limited space of 4 or 5 parking spots in front of the hotel. On the website it states “free parking” but this is subject to availability. When these are full, you are expected to park on a public parking area next to the building. The room was run down, the mini fridge isn’t really cool, the bed was uncomfortable.

Exceptional

We had a top room, was nice and quiet. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Hotel building is older so a bit dated but gives all what you need.Parking is possible in front of the hotel too where local people park.

Nice staff, flexible attitude, 0-24h reception.

We did not receive the room (accommodation) we booked. It was difficult to resolve the "misunderstanding".
