Stayed a week in June. Apartment is spacious, well appointed and true to the images. Unfortunately the central heating system had broken down. Owners did their best to have it repaired through the week with no success but supplied portable room heaters and communicated well. Very central place to stay and could walk to multiple bars and restaurants. Was a little noisy being on the main street but we slept well!

Great size apartment, great location, bit noisy
Apartment is great size with everything you might need - many rooms, different spaces for groups to relax in. Much bigger than we expected.
The fruit and cheese platter were a lovely thoughtful touch.
Great location to stroll around town and the exhibitions.
Very comfortable beds, but there was a bit of noise from traffic at night - We stayed Sat and Sun nights, so the local hoons went to bed eventually!
Definitely recommend - perfect for two couples, or small family.

Historic, gorgeous and cosy
Highly recommend. Stayed for one week for work. Close to everything in town but also close enough to walk around Lake Wendouree morning/afternoon. Upstairs from the Turret Cafe ...sensational coffee and breaky. Thanks Carmel for creating a beautiful space.

Classic elegance in the heart of Ballarat
We had a wonderful winter weekend in this lovely apartment above a popular cafe on the main street of Ballarat. The place was very tastefully furnished and the bed was super comfortable. Loved the extra touches like the cheese platter and chocolates. Hydroponic heating was great, but even better was the fireplace in the living room. Fantastic location - close enough to walk into both town and beautiful Lake Wendouree. Carmel was a great host and would highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for something special.

Amazing property
Had an amazing stay, was a home away from home. Also nothing is a problem if you require anything. It was located right in the centre of everything I required, also the Cafe downstairs is also a great little spot for a quiet Breakfast.
Thanks so much
