L’emplacement au calme, la piscine, le pdj
Les chalets sont sombres et humides, la salle de bain est vétuste

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the boat terminal but not directly in the village. The only noises we heard were the animals and birds in the jungle. Loved the set up and the pousada is peaceful, even when other guests are on the complex. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and inviting (although unheated). We used the snooker table and air hockey, which our teenage son enjoyed. Breakfast was buffet style and had a lot of different items to chose from, served in a lovely location on the site.Amazing place and I would definitely come back.
We didn't use the steam room because it had to be booked, we would have used if we could have just turned up and used for a bit. We were too busy relaxing on the island than to plan a day around a quick use of the steam room.

It was a very green space, so you would wake up by the sounds of birds!
The cabins were close to each other, so you would also wake up by... the sound of your neighbour snoring (or kids, because it's very family friendly, good for them - medium for us)

Everything was absolutely fabulous!
The location is perfect, not in the middle of the noise in the center. And at the same time very close to the beach. You feel like in a cocoon, it is quiet, relaxing, calming.
A big thank you to the team, they were very helpful. Especially the lovely Isabella.
Although our chalet wasn't very spacious, it was beautiful, we enjoyed the hammock and all the amenities available.
A pleasant surprise was their afternoon tea, such an attention to detail very welcome after a long exhausting day out exploring the island. As well as the pool, the bbq and the play area.
I cannot recommend enough the delicious breakfast, our best breakfast in Brazil. Complete with fresh fruits ,fresh juices everyday, sweet and savoury choices.
We appreciated having a carriage to help bring our suitcases all the way to the harbour.
Everything was great

The staff was simply amazing. They negotiated the best prices with other touristic services, advices us honestly and answered any need or question. When our 500km shuttle cancelled last minute on us, they took us with their own car the whole journey for the same price (private transfer!). We rarely experienced such friendly service. The breakfast was perfect, the housing was super cute and clean in an amazing location next to the river. We’ll come back!

A nice property off the beaten path in Ilha Grande. a good place to sleep while you enjoy your daily adventures.
Very little sound proofing - I was woken up by
other guests coming in late.

Lovely garden. Cute chalet. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
Room and bathroom very dated. Air-conditioning and ceiling fan very noisy. Unfortunately when we stayed there was Construction work nextdoor, which was noisy all day everyday, so not particularly relaxing by the pool.

The breakfast was great, good choice of fruits meat and cheese, some cereal, cooked eggs, facilities to make toast and toasted sandwiches and a microwave. Staff were all lovely and rooms cleaned daily was great
The top bunk bed in the chalet was really high and didn’t have a safety bar on so instead of putting my child in it I had to put my husband in it instead

Ilha Grande is a magic place, and this pousada is 5min walking from Abraao town and the dock where the boats arrive/depart. We stayed in a cabin (chalé) and it was cute, had everything we needed. Breakfast had variety of food and was served in the main building. You can borrow towels for the beach at reception.
Bed was a bit small, room door was a bit tired and didn't lock properly. Safebox wasn't working, luckily the island is a chilled and safe environment and we didn't suffer for our belongings.

The staff were great
Sometimes the noise from the reception area at night was disturbing
The swimming pool was dirty and social areas outside of the dining area were unclean, a false representation from the photos on Booking.com

the concept of individual chalet, the greenery and the location
not very clean and needs some refreshments
the breakfast wasn’t great

wonderful Breakfast! Good Location!
Toilet tap/sink , the tap is very close to the edge of the sink. always get water in the floor when we use the tap. The chalés are very pretty and full of nature around but if you need some water to fill up of bottle to go to the jungle, forget about it because there’s no free water available, even if you ask in the kitchen.

Great stay, staff went above and beyond, traveling to the dock to give my friend back her passport which she had left in the room! Beautiful lodges in amazing surroundings - thank you

Great location, beautiful place, silent surrounding but too noisy AC, and walls very thin, although pained for a chalet, they gave us a chalet that was for two families and the wall was tiny thin and woke up every morning with the baby from next door.
And what was improper was that they gave us a chalet that had a water filtration on the floor after taking a shower, and they made us stay there for two days wetting all the room for two days before changing us to other room although many rooms available, only because the manager wasn't there... couldn't they call him? or take responsibility and change us. Really awful.

Breakfast was good quality compared to other options I saw on Ilha Grande, nice fruit and fresh bread every day. The cabins felt quite private. Set back from the main town so was nice and quiet. Coffee and cake at 5pm was a nice touch.
The rooms were very small, the pool was not impressive and very overchlorinated. Some of the outside areas could do with being tidied up/gardened. Expensive for what it was, but that might be the island location.
