Tranquillité du lieu , grand parc autour de la maison , accueil sympathique avec conseils et présentation du lieu. Petit déjeuner servi dans la grande salle avec la vaisselle de famille .

We spent 2 nights in this place and we are delighted. Beautiful garden and surroundings, and the building itself is amazing. Delicious breakfasts and the staff very nice and polite 🙂 we could come with our dog which was a great advantage for us. We hope to come back here someday. Thank you and best regards!

A secret garden and ancient château surrounded by beautiful trees. We enjoyed the great hospitality of the two brothers (William and Daniel) very much. Breakfast with the „table commune“ and pleasant conversations with the other guests was a great experience. It felt like home. We liked our green room very much and the charming view into the garden. The house is an artist‘s home reminiscent of the past, of the impressionists and full of paintings and decorative furniture. Michael was happy with the piano in the living room. It’s a very friendly place for homy days without superfluous luxury.

The bedroom and en suite were both huge.
A very comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.
The bathroom included a bath, shower-over-bath and a separate shower.
Breakfast was fine being just bread, croissant, pan-au-chocolate etc which was what we expected.
The building and grounds are truly magnificent and are in a quiet location but close to restaurants etc.
A few cobwebs in the bedroom were clearly not recent additions judging from the dust and dead flies on them!

Lovely chalet with amazing hosts which welcomed us already a bit before usual check in time. The room was super cute put together and the outside garden and playarea is great for kids, some common facilities where books and games can be borrowed and the most amazing croissants for breakfast :-)

It's such an authentic chateau little castle with a light capturing interior so in line with the famous impressionist painter and also author Justine Westhead.

My mom and I had the best time at Chalet Du Bel Event!! The Chalet is beautiful and the owner is so lovely. It's dog friendly and perfect for singles, couples, family, really anybody. The rooms are gorgeous and beds are so comfy. I usually never visit the same place twice, but I will definitely be returning to Chalet Du Bel Event! It's located in a very peaceful, serene setting and is the perfect place to discover some of France's most beautiful landscapes. Breakfast was great too (even for a vegan like me). If you are traveling with your dog, they will be very happy as well. Lots of outdoor space to run around in and wooded areas surrounding the property. There's also a swing set for the children, which I also enjoyed. I truly look forward to returning some day (so does my Mom).

The location is great. And it is funky kind of house. You can bring your dog. The two brothers Dan and Bill were very hospitable and great fun.
The house and garden are all a bit run down and in a desperate need of an update. Mattresses and towels all need to be updated.

Lovely traditionally decorated house in beautiful surroundings. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Also enjoyed a lot the tennis court facilities. We have spend a couple of very calm days there and would recommend it to everyone!

The garden, big, beautiful. Not being watched all the time. Able to use the house as we liked.
Everything was very tired, a lot of money would have to be used to up grade the place. So it’s better it stays as it is and we could afford to go.
