Lovely relaxing oasis close to Chisinau center

Very nice pool and big rooms, lovely and friendly staff

Parking is somewhat limited but the staff is always careful on how cars are arranged based on guests departing times so they manage this very well

Perfect Startpoint to visit the city Centre - Recommend for Bikers

very friendly personal there. very comfortable for especialy bikers. silence place and near to centre. Owner speaks perfect russian very good restaurants near to Hotel cold drinks offered by the hotel

Very good

Good location, good sized room, excellent breakfast at good value and in a quiet area. It was too cool early May to utilise the pool or sun myself in the yard, but I can imagine in summer these would be an added bonus staying here.

Disappointing

We stayed for two days at the Edem Hotel in Chisinau. It is located in a quarter that, although it is situated behind the Academy of Sciences, is bypassed by any urban development. The road to the location takes you through small houses, on streets without sidewalks and lacking lighting, among former abandoned industrial buildings and improvised fences. At night, it seems dangerous to venture out for a walk, not to mention the rainy season. I was a guest here in March when the night time temperature dropped to 1 degree Celsius and the rooms were unheated. Only an air conditioner could try to heat up the room. The bathrooms are not even equipped with heating fixtures. The furniture consisted of pieces coming from different sets of armchairs and tables. But the most unpleasant was the attitude of the staff and the steep prices, clearly adapted for the "naive tourists". I do not recommend such an experience that reduces the impression of tourists in a beautiful city like Chisinau.

They cheat, they do not accept cards

1. I booked this hotel because it was written on booking they accept cards (In that moment there were many places 10 or more euros cheeper, but I choose this one just because they accept cards). However, when I arrived, it was late evening, they told me they have some technical issues and cannot accept card. They calculate me some very strange exchange rate for euro, so I lost additional 5 euros just on exchange. Later, I read reviews about this place and I saw some weeks previosule other people also complained they also could not pay by card, so it means there is no any technical issue, they do it all the time. 2. Breakfast was very pure, see attached photo, thre is no coffe 3. It was December and it was cold in the room and in the kitchen esspecially.

Only location was good. Acess to the city center is relatively easy.

The lady who is managing the hotel was very unpolite especially whe i asked her to print me invoice which I needed for bussines purposes. Her atitude was so unfriendly that I was thinking to cancel the reservation. I did not do that just because I was too tired because of the long trip.

Private parking behind a big fence... locked at night is great for that district of the town. A cool pool on a hot summer day with a nice yard is a great bonus for each hotel, so was for this.

The hotel offers the possibility of ordering breakfast in a hotel, but then when I asked for it, I get the answer that they are not ready to do it, that I should look it in restaurants - but there are not any restaurants near..

nice if you need to work on your tan.

the swimming pool is magical! And Violetta is amazing at making arrangement needed from taxis to takeout food,

there was no desk on my room even though I had requested one. the pillow was flat as a pancake and my room was unbearably hot Plus there was no price list in the room… which means I had no clue how much it would cost to use the sauna or have breakfast.

Very good!

It is very green inside and outside of the property. There is even a pool that you can use in sumer!

Near the train station. The staff are friendly and helpful.
