Wir kommen wieder !

Die gute Lage, die Sauberkeit des Zimmers und vor allem die außergewöhnlich gute Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin Valida! Sie gibt jedem Gast das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein, nimmt sich Zeit für Tipps und gute Gespräche. Auch eher ungewöhnliche Wünsche werden problemlos erfüllt! Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls ganz große Klasse! Herzlichen Dank an Valida, die uns den Aufenthalt in Sarajevo noch besser gemacht hat!

Mooie accommodatie op loopafstand van het centrum

De kamer was heel netjes en had alles wat je nodig hebt. Erg fijn dat de accommodatie op een paar minuten van Baščaršija ligt en er parkeerplaatsen aanwezig zijn. De host Valida is erg gastvrij en maakt een heerlijk ontbijt. We hopen hier zeker nog een keer langs te komen.

Wspaniały pobyt w Sarajewie

Kolejny pobyt w Sarajewie i kolejny w tym samym obiekcie a to za sprawą wspaniałej gospodyni jaka jest Pani Valida. Wszędzie bardzo czyściutko i przytulnie. Codziennie wymieniane ręczniki, bardzo smaczne domowe śniadania, przygotowywane indywidualnie dla każdego gościa. Pensjonat w samym centrum Sarajewa, klimatyczny widok z okna. Parking bezpieczny. Excellent place and a great hostess

It is a really friendly family owned apartman. Nice and clean rooms. Great breakfast! Location is perfect! Better listen to the lady because she has really good advises where to spend time is Sarayevo! We will definitely come back!

Best place in Sarajevo

The reason: 1 Position) You can park the car and walk in the city by feet because the Hotel is right in the center and so near to the best place to visit. 2 Food) The breakfast food is genuine and prepared at the moment under your request. It’s a rare treatment, maybe unique. It has been one of the best food experience ever! 3 Staff) The staff is very wellcoming, familiar, culturing advanced and open mind. They helped with their experience and availability. Valida is an intelligent woman. It has been a big pleasure to have met her. 4 Room) Very good furniture taste, modern and new. Best quality/price ever. 5 Pet friendly) In a city in wich dogs are not allowed to enter even in outdoor place, this structure is a piece of diamond.

Valida was the reason why we booked the accommodation. The selfie with the Kiflice gave us an image of a sympathetic hostess. And we were not disappointed. She was great, helpful, informative and her breakfast world class. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

The room was much bigger than in the photos. It was super comfy and warm and the WiFi was reliable and fast. The location is central but quiet. Valida was really welcoming, friendly and her breakfasts were amazing! Before my arrival Valida was great at responding to questions quickly. I definitely want to stay here again when I'm next in Sarajevo.

Complete gem with the best host imaginable

I really can’t be glowing enough in my review. Simply, my stay at the Halvat rates as one of my best ever!! The room was wonderful - well-equipped, quiet and warm (despite -16 temperatures outside!). The bed was so comfy and the shower was amazing. The location also could not be better - on a quiet street just by Baščaršija and surrounded by sights, transport (tram) and great cafes/restaurants. But what really made the stay was the extraordinary hospitality from Valida and Mumo themselves. And it was their enormous human warmth and care that really made my stay so special. They really could not have done any more to accommodate me or make me feel more welcome and it was a treat to spend time with them both. Totally and utterly recommended!

Everything was great

The guesthouse is right next to the center of Sarajevo, just a few minutes by walk. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room has everything one might need during the stay in the house. Valida, the host, was very nice and her hospitality was awesome, she took care of everything we needed and made our visit easier in the city. There was free place to leave the car in front of the house. This accommodation is definitely one of the best ones we visited lately.

Beyond expextations

The Halvat Guest House is really a very nice accommodation to stay. The hostess Valida and host Mumo are very welcoming and friendly. Everything is taken care of down to the last detail. The room we had was very spacious and very clean. We stayed there with our family of 5 with three children. A crib for the baby was arranged, there was a fridge and television in the bedroom and the WiFi was good everywhere. Just like in a hotel, everyday the rooms were cleaned and fresh towels were laid out. The breakfast at the guesthouse is very extensive and you can tell the host what kind of breakfast you would like to eat. From fried eggs to pancakes and roasted vegetables and fresh fruits everything is possible. In addition, we had many pleasant conversations with the hostess and she gave us many good travel tips. Also she helped us out with practical things and when one of us got very sick and needed help from a doctor. The location of the guesthouse is also great. In less than 5 minutes walking distance you are in the middle of the city in Bascarsia. We could park the car in front of the door of the guesthouse so that was also super nice. With tears in our eyes we said goodbye to the host, who became a part of our family. We felt so safe and welcome and we hope to be able to visit Bosnia agian next year and stay at the Halvat Guesthouse again. Evsen Family

Amazing Sarajevo Guesthouse

This was my 4th time staying at Halvat and I just wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sarajevo! It's a beautiful guesthouse, well located and super comfortable with wonderful attention to detail and Valida is an amazing hostess. The breakfasts are incredible too. Highly recommended!

Our stay exceeded our expectations! The location couldn’t have been better - such a short walking distance to town. (and to a local convenience store) Valida was so wonderful, kind, and helpful! Breakfast was delicious and filling, and our stay was everything we needed and more. Highly recommend!!
