Perfect quick stop in Calpe. Charming exterior and pool!

Great Calpe location, booked on short notice. Very peaceful and private for a small property. Nice ambience and lovely pool.

+ Bien comunicado con el casco antiguo y a 10 minutos andando de la calle principal que hay restaurantes y pubs + Las zonas comunes están muy bien. Hay mesas y sillas por toda la estancia, muy bueno para llevarte la comida del Mercadona y comer al aire libre. (El Mercadona está a 5 minutos y tienen platos preparados para llevar) + Neverita en la habitación

Quizá el ruido que había de los coches al estar justo en la entrada de Calpe

Noisy and AC didn’t work very well. Pool dirty and very small.

A beautiful retreat at a reasonable price

A nice house, well maintained, in a nice residential neighbourhood, 3-minute walk from the bus station, and no more than 20-minute walk to the old town, beach and commercial area. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were not very well insulated from external noise, so we we were able to hear the traffic in the morning, and a very loud rooster from a nearby house. Bathroom window seemed stuck so steamed up excesively during showers. Despite those small snags however, I would happily return.

We had a great time as the town, Easter processions and beaches were all within easy reach.

Closeness to Calpe. Easy accessibility. 2 bedside tables would have been helpful Great having a kettle and fridge.

This was a very quaint place to stay - typically Spanish The shower, although very basic, was hot and it did the job

The bed was a bit small and not so comfortable

Really nice and comfortable room! Outside looked cute, but it was too cold in the season to make use of the facilities.

Had to contact the property for someone to come and do check-in, they only spoke Spanish (to be fair we made the booking quite last minute)

Nice place for few days

friendly and helpful personel, clean small room and nice breakfast for 2-3 days ( always the same,for 10 euro per persona, so I suggest if you want stay longer go to take a breakfast to one of many cafeterias around) hostal is in good location, 20 min walking to the beach

Great choice

An unassuming hotel, walking distance to town/beach. Only stayed one night, it was clean, had a plunge pool to cool down in, very clean and very friendly staff.

The double bed was really small for 2 people but ok for one night.

Good place to stay for a night or two

It was very clean and well decorated. The staff was very nice. Location is not great and the parking is small but we didn't have trouble parking. It has air conditioning which is very necessary

When we arrived there wasn't anyone in the reception so we had to call and wait a few minutes until someone arrived to do the check-in.

Good for parking, 5 minutes walk into town, small pool but very clean and great air conditioning.

Stayed here before on the same landing and never heard a thing but this time there seemed to be a gap around the door and I could hear traffic and the cockerel- didn't sleep well in room 6.

Nice female member of staff welcomed us however we communicated by Google translate despite web site stating English spoken.She made us a very nice breakfast too.

We had to ask to get air-conditioning to work. I am convinced that it was powered off at a main switch somewhere in the building as the manager came into the room and pressed the same button that I had tried several times and it worked 1st time fir him making me look silly.

Good

It was a good room and everything worked perfectly. The room was cleaned up in between with new towels and there was also a kettle with essentials. The hostal and the many places where you can sit outside are look really cute, and the size of the pool is just right.

The room could have been a bit cleaner. And it's a pity that the hostal is next to a busy road, you definitely need earplugs to sleep and also during the day it disturbs the peace that the hotel would otherwise have radiated.

Nice cozy place to spend a night

Cozy environment and nice, clean and simply decorated room with a heater and kettle, fridge. Also some tea, coffee. Nice view through the window.

Would be good to have a microwave, at least in a communal areas.
