Amazing, stylish hotel in gorgeous Limoges

We loved Hotel de Paris; it was in a brilliant location and is very stylish. The proprietor was fantastic, he looked after us so well. The rooms have been very well decorated and the bed was very comfy. We were there 3 nights and didn’t want to leave. The location was excellent, it was easy to walk into the historical centre and also to sit in the many local parks. We stayed for breakfast which was really good. We would definitely recommend it.

Ligging, makkelijk parkeren voor de deur, behulpzame beheerder, goed ontbijt

Erg warme kamer ondanks het koele weer, geen airco, veel muggen. Beslag van ramen en deuren functioneerde slecht.

Belle déco bien situé mais quelques inconvénients

Situation très bien - très bon accueil et déco sympa beau bâtiment Chambre très propre avec balconet vue sympa lit confortable mais trop chaude Grand parking public pas cher devant l’hôtel

Petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur de l’établissement -) pas de pain frais viennoiseries surgelées pas terribles café correct

Exceptional

I cannot rate this place highly enough. The proprietor offered to carry my bags, provided a guide to the city, warmed personal baskets of patisserie for each guest in the morning, and even peeled an apple for a guest who wanted one. I was able to leave my bicycle securely. My bedroom had its own balcony and everything was spotlessly clean and very glamorous. I would love to stay again. It's much nicer than any of the other hotels I have stayed at on this trip.

The Hotel was beautifully presented & staff were very helpful. Great access to parking. Room was excellent & Breakfast a must. Will stay again.

Exceptional

The Hotel de Paris was delightful. It is a hotel with old world charm. The owner/receptionist had obvious pride in his property and made sure we were comfortable. He was very willing to book dinner reservations and was full of suggestions of what to see. Our lovely room looked out over a park and on to the magnificent train station, which was a 10-15 minute walk. Town was a comfortable walk in the other direction; maybe 20 minutes depending on where we were going. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in a lovely Hotel

The Hotel is a lovely period building over looking park. High ceilings and fantastic original features. Super host who helped us to locate all the nearby sites that we wished to visit, which were very interesting. Breakfast was delicious and great value. Limoges is well worth visiting.

A great hotel close to the beautiful train station with a charming and friendly host.

Love this hotel, which is very close to the beautiful railway station, which is a blend of several architectural movements such as Art Nouveau and Art Deco. We arrived at the station with our bicycles and had a short ride to the hotel, where we were met by our charming and most gentlemanly host. Originating from Belgium he took our bikes to safe and secure overnight storage and then gave us a most helpful insight into the local area including restaurants and sightseeing. Breakfast was fabulous and we can highly recommend a stay. Indeed, we will be returning in the not too distant future.

it is good enough for a one night stay if it’s hot outside I couldn’t of managed another hot night .

room was not like the photos and you couldn’t open the windows , it was so hot and stuffy and only a small fan was provided. also kettle was broken ( burnt my hand ) we did however report this

Nice room, close to the town centre and impressive train station.

We couldn't get into the hotel until 3pm, we waited over 2 hours (with baggage) to sit down comfortably.

What's not to like

Ambience was good. Proximity to the old town great.. Good recomendation for evening meal.
