Friendly owners and staff, excellent location for walks along Rhine and close to Oberwesel and Sankt Goar, both lovely towns with shops and restaurants. Also lovely food onsite for dinner and breakfast was nice, with fresh fruit. Complemtary bottles of mineral water in room and fridge to store drinks was a nice touch. Free, easy parking onsite.
Road and train noise quite high at night when windows open.

Design of the rooms, parking at the hotel, nice personal.
No climatisation in the hot summer. Noise level doesn't allow open the windows, train, ships, main road. Lot of spiders come in to the room.

Location was nice and breakfast ok.
Wifi was very bad on third floor and no reception or signal. Room extreamly hot and no cooling system, only a small fan that did nothing.

location and parking was good
the rooms were cold, there were no slippers in room, no cream provided, bed was not clean, we could see small crooked hair everywhere. The quilts weere not good, the quilt covers were not soft, was like plastic, not like cotton. Beds, pillows and quilts were not comfortable at all. only gas water was given, there was no water without gas. Breakfast was just average with few items. The restaurant has a long menu card but only 4-5 things were available for Lunch and dinner.

Location
Owner was very nice
Owner was kind enough to waive a fee for late checkout
Decoration
Parking
The food at the restaurant was DELICIOUS
The staff member was rude and unpleasant and refused to identify herself
The late checkout fee was €25 on a €93 nightly rate for 1h
There was a dirty rag hanging on the door when we checked in
We could hear the trains all night
Someone woke us up before check out time to "check if we had left already"
The drinks at the restaurant were horrible (exception made to the aperitifs)

I upgraded to a 'double comfort room with landmark/river view'. I wanted a larger room with lots of view of the river for my wife's birthday. Instead we got a tiny corner building room with a view of the carpark, technically you could see the river if you look from the window while standing against the back wall, but from everywhere else in the room you could only see the opposite building and carpark. The room was also tiny. I guess the rooms on the one side of the building all offer this good view and are larger. We were just unlucky with getting the back corner which they can technically still call 'river view'. Just be aware when booking and 'upgrading' at this hotel that you might be unlucky too.
The location of the hotel is nice. You can leave and walk along the Rhine.

Clean, excellent river view, big room, fridge, coffee machine and big tv.. staff are friendly and helpful
WiFi. We didn’t have any WiFi from 9.20pm and there is no one at the reception after that time therefore had to go without till in the morning when the staff starts work.

Breakfast was good, selection of hams, cheese, breads, boiled egg and cooked bacon and scrambled eggs. Coffee and teas, fruit juices
Restaurant and service very good for dinner, good beer selection.
Staff helpful
Location not ideal for dogs as there is no grass area in the village for walking, only a private camp site.

Spacious room, nice view on the river and Lorely, good rated restaurant with large outside terrace.
No lift , so prepare to carry luggage 2 floors.

Location, food in restaurant was good and staff was nice. simple and small room but very comfortable.
Good breakfast buffet
During our stay the daytime temperature was a about 30 degrees celsius, there is no AC in the room, so the room was very warm and we had to sleep with open windows, because there is a railroad behind the hotel, a road in front and many boats on the river I didn't had much sleep.
Used wifi effortless during the day without any questions asked, but at night I couldn't log on to the wifi because it asked a voucher code, at that time nobody was at the reception to give it to me.
The room had a big tv, which we sadly couldn't use because there wasn't a remote control to be found in the room.

Breakfast buffet. Fabulous.
Big private car park.
Keys to use the door at night and early morning.
Small, but neat bathroom. Everything in it.
Bottle of water in the room, and pod coffee machine. A dyson room cooler! Crikey! Thats expensive!
Single occupancy room; a very large bed in small room, left it feeling cramped. I would not like to take it if my husband had been with me.
River view? Poetic licence on words. Yes, you do see the river, after the immediate and full viee of a construction of buildings, then over the camp site and to the side. I think its fair "River view" gives a client an expectation of a front facing room.
The little mat was stained and appears shoddy. Spoilt the newness of the furniture.
The large bottles of hand and hair & body wash werent just empty, but were completely dry. That's just poor house keeping. The loo seat needs tightening, as its very loose.
