Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Kleines Hotel in in günstiger Nähe zu Altstadt und auch zum Kloster von Sr. Bernadette. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Reichliches Frühstück und Zimmer sehr sauber.

Zimmer war etwas klein, aber ausreichend für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.

Nice hotel at the heart of Nevers

Very nice little hotel at the heart of Nevers, close to both the train station and the cathedral. Many restaurants around the hotel. The owner was very kind and tried to accommodate our needs the best she can.

Fantastic location and value

Great location 5 minutes from station. Extremely clean. Hotel manager who welcomed me was helpful. Very quiet. Pretty nice bed, a little firm for me but not bad. Lavish duvet, although the room was chilly I was not - it made the bed very cosy.

Couple tiny details like the shower grouting could do with being redone, no impact on stay quality.

Close to station and centre of town

I had am email to confirm that they would check me in between 12 and 1pm, I arrived at 12.05 and there was no one there even though opening hours were until 12.30pm plus no one answered my phone calls

Very near to the train Station. Big comfortable room in the City Center but really quite. Concierge was very friendly. Closed Room for Bikes. Merci

Very clean and easy parking

Easy parking, just in front of the hotel. Come around 5 pm to secure a parking spot. Lots of restaurants and sightseeings, walkable around the hotel. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Very clean and tidy. We communicate through google translate, since I cannot speak French. Very glad we can borrow an electric kettle and mugs. Thank you.

check-in was at 5 pm.

Quiet in spite of a busy street.

No a/c. Small bed (narrow and short). Don’t expect anything but a two star hotel.

Decent option for cyclists.

Helpful staff. Handy location. Safe garage for bike.

Peaceful night, lovely bath

Aside from the first impression, everything actually turned out great. Bed was pretty comfy, midway between firm and squishy. The bathroom was wonderful, extremely clean and usable with nice lighting. The small bath was extremely practical and pleasant as it filled fast. The surroundings were very peaceful and quiet while also being right in the centre of town, there was actually a bustling restaurant nearby but the back of the hotel was completely silent. Because we came late the staff set us up with our room key, they were very helpful and both people we met in the morning were very friendly and welcoming. No barging in at 8am to clean the room, so I was able to sleep in!

Hotel closes at 9.30pm, luckily I thought to call before we arrived as we wound up being delayed and arriving just before 11, and they gave us all the info we needed to get it. The first impression of the room was a bit sad - the lighting was quite depressing and cold, especially the so-called bedside light, which was a harsh bluish white. Slightly sad looking bedspread and colour scheme, probably also due to the lighting. The stairs are a little cramped but it can't be helped, it's part of the style of this hotel.

Nice intimate hotel near train station and restaurants/historic center. Good for short stays.

Nice courtyard with good breakfast. Very nice owner, very personal atmosphere.

Room and bath not very big and modern but sufficient for a short stay.

Nevers Stay

Lovely, small but well equipped hotel in a great location for visiting the city. The owner and staff were very welcoming. The air conditioning was an unexpected bonus. Secure storage for our bikes was great.
