Nothing we didn't like. Some of the bedrooms maybe a little old fashioned.

Breakfast and dinner were both beautifully presented and very tasty. The breakfast compote was amazing. I'm not a vegetarian but I tried both the nut roast and the mushroom wellington and they were exceptionally tasty with a mixture of great flavours and textures.
Nothing....Television reception!!!!!!

Rooms were comfy and clean, dinner in the pub was really good and a busy thriving pub was lovely to see and breakfast was lovely. All in all - a great stay for a night.

Quiet location, clesan and comfortable room, friendly staff and good choice at breakfast.
Member of staff picking hairs out of the hoover head right next to us as we were checking out wasn't particularly pleasant.

The Cott Inn is very old (14th century!) which comes with ups and downs.
Ups: super charming, nice feeling of lodging in a place charged with history
Very warm atmosphere - there was a concert in the pub downstairs, an absolute highlight during our English trip.
Room was comfortable and breakfast very good.
Definitely poorly isolated, I could hear the conversation of the patrons in the pub from my room. So if you're a light sleeper and wish to go to bed early, not very convenient (again, adored the concert, so it was ok for me, but it has to be taken into account).

Spent 4 nights at the Cott Inn during the Aug Bank Holiday. Stunning thatched Inn that has been beautifully restored. Plenty of parking on site and is in a great location to explore south Devon and Dartmoor. We had a very warm welcome on arrival and had help to carry our bags to the room (thank you Anton!) The bedrooms are a decent size with a kettle for tea/coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was spotlessly cleaned, great shower also. Breakfast was included and is served from 8am. There is a good section of cooked options and also cereals and a rather lovely fruit kompot plus tea/coffee and orange juice.
Definitely book an evening meal as the food is superb and they have a great selection of drinks. We ended up eating there 3 times during our stay!
Overall it is a lovely Inn with a frienday atmosphere and accommodating owners.
Would more than likely stay here again.
No wardrobe in bedroom to hang clothes but was able to hang some on the hooks on back of door.
