The bed was new but was a bit firm. Also, some additional furniture would have been nice, the couch was too small for 2 people and the outdoor metal chairs were uncomfortable to sit for any period of time.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Caribo, and we found that the location was very helpful in exploring the city and the b

Air conditioning was great. nice to have a fan. Clean as you came into the room were very good and left. Our possessions untouched, and just as we had left them but the room was clean beautifully. the daily coffee downstairs was a wonderful idea and it was always available. Also, our host, Celeste was wonderfully attentive, and always interested in checking and inquiring to make sure everything was going as it should. In addition, the overall property was very well-maintained, and it was good to see constant upkeep. Thoroughly enjoyed being able to get into the pool each afternoon and soak away for an hour or so.

The refrigerator was a little small and difficult to store the fruit and milk that we had on a daily basis. There was very limited counter space in the bathroom around the basin, making it difficult to place toiletries and other normal bathroom objects. I might suggest that on the stairs going up from the pool to the upper level there be some kind of rubber mats or gripping devices on the stairs because they could get very slippery with wet feet and bodies going upstairs.

Basic solid place

Space for reading. Comfy bed/room, fridge in room, location, little pool.

Really strict on arriving and leaving times, busy with lots of guests on site, power in the room was unstable. Internet wasn’t the best.

Marvelous hotel

Marvelous small hotel, super cute, very well decorated and super pleasant to stay in. Well equipped kitchen, small pool, walkable distance from the port, close to a supermarket and the attention, care and advise from Celeste was impressive, it felt like we knew her. We rented bikes and did some excursions as well anf she recommended some great local places and restaurants. If I'm in this part of the world again, I will definitely go back again. Thank you.

Clean, Comfortable, and Superb Staff

The hotel manager was the best ever. She made the stay so wonderful for us. She really makes sure you have everything you need! She helped us book activities too. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the port and is safe. The pool is really nice as well.

The towels are $50MXN each

Great, helpful staff and a nice place to stay!

Super friendly staff. Wonderful outdoor shower. Pool was enjoyable. Lovely hammock. Help with all bookings and equipment was easy, and laundry well done! 15minute walk to the ferry port and good restaurants, but many local ones close by (Fonda Don Jośe - a favourite!)

Room wasn’t ready at check in time, 3pm should be enough time for change over. Extra charge for towels (small but necessary?) more shade on the terrace might make it more useable!

Fabulous stay thank you! Great value for the price, sparkling clean and extra lovely staff and owners!

The pool is fabulous to refresh after being in the heat! Super clean and a lovely temp. Nice terrace area near the pool also to sit and eat/ work. Small kitchen with everything you need to cook meals. Coffee avail free each morning also. Extremely clean and very nice staff! Huge supermarket 5 mins away.

Little further out of the main tourist strip, only 10-15mins walk though and you can see this on the map so no surprises there. Noisy road so tricky if light sleeper (like me!) I stayed in the only room with ‘shared bathroom’. It’s actually just your own but it’s downstairs so in the night you do need to go outside to the loo. It’s safe as all enclosed but just can be tricky down stairs half asleep!

Very nice hotel with a code on the door for maximum security. Has a nice pool as well. The rooms were very spacious , well equipped and had both an AC and a fan. The bathroom was big as well with hot water and great pressure. Had an equipped kitchen as well Really liked it!!

Clean and pleasant

Nice staff who offer lots of tips and advice on the local area. We only stayed one night, but the room was comfortable, wifi was good, and the swimming pool looked clean.

Superb

A home from home. A lovely place with clean, spacious and comfy rooms with little kitchen. The communal spaces are nice, there's a cute pool and different places to sit out and have breakfast. Everyone, guests and staff seemed very friendly. 100% would return !

All things considered, I score this trip a total of 9 out of 10. We will be back in the future.

The staff, owners, security, and facility were all top notch. We couldn't have picked a better more comfortable stay for the price point of the vacation. The communication with the owners was wonderful.

The only thing we had wished for was that the internet was stronger and more reliable for our needs. Our daughters although it was a vacation, they had homework to keep up on and were unable to reliably keep connected. Keeping your mobile data on and accruing the out of country roaming charges is no bueno.

lovely staff, clean and bright rooms, and great value!

I loved the lay out of the property- lots of different levels. I had a room on the top floor with a private terrace and outdoor shower!

There is coffee made every morning on the first floor which was great but it would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room. not a big deal but that’s my one pice of feedback.

We were welcomed by Celeste who was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was the best check in we had in our whole time in México and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you Celeste! The pool was great and we were able to rent snorkels. All staff were very available to give information and help and we also loved the little pool.

there is so much to like about this property. From the welcome from host Celeste, to the cuteness of the room (we had the 1 bed apartment), to the closeness to the town centre. Celeste deserves an extra mention. warm, helpful, understanding and generally the best of hosts!

Jorge was lovely and very helpfull! The hotel itself was cute & quiet, but on a busy street.

The back garden with the pool (I am not sure you can actually swim in it though). The staff!! The room had a lot of space with hot shower. The matress was comfy. Quiet hotel in a more local area.

My room was on a street very busy with some orchestra practice in the morning and dance classes in the night. The air conditionner was too cold for me.

Would recommend!

The facilities were great, free coffee in the morning was a bonus. The room we stayed in was spacious and very comfortable. Celeste the manager couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful. She made our stay a great experience. Close to the dive shops and nice restaurants.

Towels included would have been better than hiring them.

Exceptional

The Owners Carolina and George are very nice , fluent English. We were late for our Ferry and George just offered to drive us so we could make it on time. The manager Celeste was always super helpful and so kind and personal, spoke English fluently. We felt very safe and cared for. Pool is just a cool off pool, not large just enough to take a dip. Extremely clean rooms and the shared kitchen was immaculate, sweet cleaning ladies. Complimentary Fresh coffee and hot Water for tea every morning . Great atmosphere and meeting people on the large shared patio was super! All age groups, we are in our sixties and loved meeting 30 - 60 plus year olds. Every room has a fridge and safe . Some rooms have a little kitchen sink and counter with microwave . There are plenty of nice restaurants on 30 th and 35 th streets. Big grocery store ,pharmacy and doctors office , 2 blocks away. Great location 5 blocks from the main square and ferry dock . We would highly recommend to people travelling alone just a super place. We will definitely return.

Very nice apartment with lots of space for two people. Very clean and the host was excellent. I would stay here again especially in this room!

If I had to raise one issue was that the internet was challenging at times, but I was able to access eventually.

I actually didn’t stay because the bed was not soft enough for my back problem. the receptionist was friendly, but overall if you can afford more - I’d rather stay in another place
