This characterful hotel has a lot of Belle Époque charm , overlooks the bustling Saturday market , the staff kind & the breakfast terrace is delightful !
Just a larger room next time…

Set within the circle of the town this charming hotel had a real old school feel. Proprietors. and their staff, were always naturally attentive. Very comfortable bed in shuttered room which matched perfectly the ambience of a very assured and relaxed town. Breakfast terrace a joy.
Be aware hotel reception was closed 3-6pm which we overlooked. Lovely town made the wait easy.

Great location - right in the heart of the town - simple tasteful and minimal furniture. Nice blue shutters - unspoilt.

Lovely staff. Characterful Hotel. In Central location .Very clean . Had never stayed here before but had eaten in the lovely restaurant many times However, food in restaurant was not as good as it used to be.
Poor facilities. Uncomfortable beds.No hairdryer. Pillows flat as a pancake. Furniture - handles coming off doors of cupboards so couldn't use. Decor very tired. Very noisy location both at night from surrounding bars and very early morning with street sweepers ,delivery vans etc.

We didn’t have breakfast.
We find the staff warm and friendly, the building itself, and, as this was our third visit, we obviously like it!
Having to wait till 6 pm before we could check in.

This is a rare gem of a hotel, filled with authentic ambience & a flair that is hard to find nowadays. It is tucked away in a little alley just behind one of the squares of Céret. One enters through a little courtyard before ascending the stairs to the lobby, restaurant & terrace where breakfast & delicious meals are being served. Here, tradition works at its best. Keep things authentic and sustainable. 'Slow food' in a 'slow hotel' - solid & delicious French cuisine & wines of the 'terroirs'. Our room offered a view of the streets & squares below, with an extra visual & olfactory treat on Saturdays, when this little town is teeming with the weekly market offering vegetables, cheese, breads, fruits, olives, craft & always something to discover one did not expect. Staff is very friendly, relaxed & always helpful. Last not least: the hotel harbours a rich collection of original poster prints of exhibition in and around Céret, and on top of this many original art works...

Pleasant stay friendly owners will be back

Friendly staff, very central location, old building with a beautiful patio covered in grapevines to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hotel gave us a great tip on where to park our car as the centre was closed for the Tour de France.
Our room was overlooking the main bar, restaurant & market street and the Saturday morning market stalls started setting up at 6:00am so ear plugs were a must to get a good nights sleep. If you would like breakfast this must be pre-reserved the evening before. It was EUR 8 for juice, coffee, croissant, jam & bread.
