Proprietario simpatico e disponibile. Comodo parcheggio.
Nulla.

The accommodation has a marvelous view through the valley and towards the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and the host gave us a very useful recommendation for a wonderful hike.

casa vanella felt like home! wonderful hikes right from the door. we ate a wonderful home cooked meal one night and breakfast was lavish. our hosts were delightful, did our laundry, and were helpful about trails. we did not realize we needed to pay extras in cash but our host trusted us to go to a nearby ATM and return. it was a pleasure to dine family style and converse with French and German guests.

The room was very nice and comfortable, offering an amazing view. The dinner was very good as well. And above all the management and staff are extremely nice and willing to help the guests with anything they can.
no complaints at all

The location was very scenic and staff helpful and friendly. The room was large and nice and clean but there was no aircon and it was really hot when we visited. The breakfast was included in the price and was OK, dinner was also offered at an additional cost of 30 euros pp which we opted for but this was a very basic menu.
The dinner menu could have been better , we got the inclusion of cheese for 3 of the courses and the main course was vegetarian as one diner was a vegetarian , we did not get offered any other choice which I think we should have done. It was not really value for money for the dinner

We liked the house and the garden and the room was modern and comfortable. It was a good location for driving to the mountains.
It didn't feel like a bed and breakfast but more like a hotel. It felt a bit distant. The host didn't speak any English although it is stated on the info page. We joined diner and requested a vegetarian meal beforehand. We were surprised chicken was the main course.

It was clean, comfortable and with a great view.
We choosed this location for the offered dinner option and shorty after check in and confirmation of the dinner we sadly learned that they do not have enough food for two more people. As we are very service orientated (within our primary job) we couldn’t understand that they didn’t offered us a alternative meal e.g. Pasta instead of the 3 course menue. They recommended us a Pizza shop for take a way.
Even the included breakfast buffet was more disappointing because of the more or less leftovers. So we decided to skip the breakfast.
Overall the location and room is nice but way to expensive for what you get.
At least the payment option is more old-fashioned with bank money transfer instead of credit card payment.
We wouldn’t recommend this place for friends and to be honest it is the first disappointing place for us within Booking.com

beautiful but remote location, good beds, strong shower, we slept very well and had a good view from the room.
free parking.
this place is about twice as expensive as it should be, even by corsica standards.
payment by cash or bank transfer only, no credit cards!
we had a very small room with thin walls, you can hear the neighbors. tv was present but did not work. internet slower than dial-up.
poor breakfast, what runs out is not replenished, its just gone. eggs only if the owner is in the mood to offer them.
old bread is served every day.
basically breakfast is a local salty sausage and a sheep cheese, plus cereal. some days with yoghurt.
fruits were rare too, one honey melon for everyone to share, plus some old oranges and bananas.
the common area, so intriguingly highlighted in the photos, is only open for guests for breakfast and dinner- if booked at the hotel. otherwise - and in general - the owner occupies the place himself.
so you should know that you are currently looking at photos of the owners residence!
the always cranky looking staff doesn't help either, she does not even bother to reply when greeted by the guests first.
overall, this was not an experience we will repeat.

The host was extremely friendly and the rooms were very clean. We had a lovely dinner and the chef took great effort to prepare a vegetarian option for me.
It was a good location as a stop over to cross the island from one side to the other but to stay longer you need time to travel to the interesting sights/locations as it’s quite far from everything.
9.0 / 10.0
The scenery, the rooms, the beds, the silence, the no-stress mountain spirit. Also, the host's dinner (at 28eur) was good value and tasty. Very nice common area.
The breakfast was too basic for 12eur. We had to ask repeated times to replenish bread, milk, juice, etc.
