The first floor is light-filled, featuring an open floor plan allowing for maximum living enjoyment & entertainment. The great room boasts modern, stylish furniture, a fireplace, gorgeous ocean views, huge TV, and access to the expansive outside porch with a seating group. The kitchen features a gourmet array of appliances and the dining room is surrounded by 3 sides of ocean views! Two guest bedrooms with en suites are situated on this floor.

We do not guarantee the pool heat will reach a swimmable temperature.

Our family was very satisfied with the property. Matter of fact, after they toured the house to select their rooms, they asked if we could come back next year to this same house. East Islands Rentals website described the property to a "T". The location and amenities were great. The house was very clean and well-maintained. Customer service was great. The kids and grandkids enjoyed the shops and restaurants. Granny and Papaw enjoyed sitting on the porch and beach just looking at the ocean and birds. One night a sea turtle had laid a nest of eggs just up from our boardwalk. That was exciting. I would definitely recommend this house and the East Island Rental Agency to family and anyone else. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything about this home.

We spend a week in IOP each year and we really enjoyed our stay at Lands End. The house was great, especially the oyster decor and the number of king beds/ensuites. We got a ton of use out of the baja shelf in the pool, and the location was great. Hope to be back soon!

Great house, location but advertised incorrectly and lots of things didn't work
The good: The house was clean, nicely decorated and in a great location. We would rent again if some items were fixed and managed better. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room. One of the primary reasons we chose this house is the outdoor fireplace and TV which is advertised in the first picture on VRBO. Unfortunately, neither of these worked and when we called the mgt. company they said they haven't worked in sometime and couldn't be fixed. They said the fireplace kept blowing out with the wind and the TV connections outside kept breaking. We would have chosen another house would we have known upfront. Due to this and the multiple times we had to keep calling on items, we did ask for a 10% discount after our stay and we were told "we don't provide discounts", "we've had air conditioners go out and we still don't provide a discount, we try to fix it promptly but no discount." Just beware.
We paid to have the hot tub heated but it was not heated when we arrived. When we called we found out that paying to heat the hot tub meant we were allowed to heat the hot tub ourselves. They didn't send us the directions ahead of time so we couldn't use it the first night. There's a process where you turn the heater on and it takes about 40 minutes to heat up and it stays on for 2.5 hours so it takes some planning use.
The hot tub stopped working the second day, the indoor fireplace stopped working and we had to request a stopper for the master tub. The management company was quick to come out and fix them but because they didn't happen all at once it was multiple calls and periods of not being able to use them. The cookware was nice but they only had one non-stick pan which made normal cooking difficult. There were other small items but the biggest issue was the outside area not working as advertised.

We had an excellent time at this vacation home! The home is perfect for large families and has a great open floor plan, a well stocked kitchen, and amazing views of the ocean and beach. It was a 5 min or less walk to bars/restaurants/shops on IOP, a 5 min drive to the grocery store, and close to Charleston, Boone Hall, and many other local attractions. Unforgettable family memories made. We will be back for sure.

Great location, lovely home
Just like the photos, this house is gorgeously decorated and fabulously located. The property management team came up a bit short for a problem that we encountered but other than that, I highly recommend this property to others. Loved the convenience of the elevator for lugging our groceries and luggage up and down stairs. The pool is perfect for little ones because it is fenced in and adults could relax without running after escaping toddlers.

We had a wonderful time at Lands End. We've stayed in many IOP houses and this was our favorite. Loved the outside living spaces and spent many hours at the pool. The only minor issue we had was the internet, it doesn't work well but it didn't damper our stay.

This is the 3rd time our group (5 couples) has stayed at this home. The location and home are both perfect. Each bedroom (King beds in all) has it's own bath and are large. The home condition is 5 Stars. 3 minute drive to restaurants on Sullivan's Island or 10 minutes to Mt Pleasant. Grocery store and shopping all convenient as well. East Islands' personnel very attentive to our needs and questions. We hope to return!

A lovely home that we have greatly enjoyed the past two years. Two minor recommendations. The pool very much needs two tables or so with UMBRELLAS at the pool. Also there were a couple of old rusty beach chairs, one of which was broken and unusable. For almost $20,000, one would hope to have access to usable beach chairs. Embarrassing.

The rental company did a great job. The house was very nice. We went during a cooler time of year and saw pictures of the outdoor fireplace and we were hoping to use it. Was disappointed to learn that it was off use for rentals. Other than that, great stay.

Our family really enjoyed this lovely home. Your so close to the beach and my grandchildren loved the pool. We are coming back!The only negative thing I can write is that I feel that there should be more cooking pans.The home was very clean and the layout is prefect. Just a few issues: 1. Sheets on the master bed were put on damp so when we arrived the whole bed was wet 2. Hot water in the bathroom sinks was non existant 3. Pool lights did not work 4. One garage door would not close 5. Bee Hives were all over (handled promptly by East Island Staff

As always, it was a delightful week for my family and me. Always have a good experience with East Island and this may have been the best house ever in the nine times we have rented. However, a recommendation: two or minimally one of the six bedrooms needs to have twin beds. Much better for family accommodations, particularly for children. This was the one disappointment.
