Quiet family-run guesthouse, very nicely decorated and furnished. Our double room was very large with its own bathroom and entrance hallway, as well as a large terrace with a view of Burg Pottenstein. Excellent breakfast as well. Strongly recommended.

Friendly hosts.
Good restaurant. Good breakfast.
The Wifi was out of order at the whole stay.
The hosts called the Internet company, so they did what was possible.

The trout themed decoration was fun. Newly renovated bathrooms with a modern look, enough power sockets, huge room (our triple room had 2(!) balconies). The food! I had trout earlier in the week at another place, but this restaurant with their own trout farm is unrivalled! The staff were always greeting us and asking if they could be of assistance. We felt very welcome. The breakfast was standard and we thought it would have been cool to add cold trout to the choices. We had vegetarians with us who luckily didn't mind that the cheese was on the same platter as the sausages (to be fair, we did not mention this to the staff, but maybe this is something to consider in the future).
Though pretty and in good quality, the facilities were a little bit too old fashioned for my style, but I think it fit this traditional hotel.
No elevators to the rooms.
