The weather, the beach and the massage.
I would like to point out that the cost were too hight for such a small resort. The food options were limited and from the already small menu, some items were not available.
Furthermore, the food is too expensive. My wife wife and I decided to use the full meal plan (US$120 each). That does not include any soft drinks, so you pay about US$4 for each. The surprise came at the final checkout. As the daily meal plan ended up being US$300 a day and with a room price of a whooping US$522 a night that makes it to north of US$800. I have stayed in hotels in that price range but they had way more too offer.

I loved the staff and the property setup.
We did have kids with us and there wasn't more activities for them.

beautiful setting, and good people working there

Quiet, clean, beautiful setting and immaculately kept. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Seeing as there’s only one restaurant it would be nice if the menu was a little more varied or maybe had rotating specials. We ate there every day and by the last day we’d tried most of what we liked. Everything we had was very good though.

The Cliff hotel was amazing, my partner and I can't stop talking about how wonderful the place is, even my 3 year old had an amazing time. The scenery was lovely, the decor all over the hotel and the room were beautiful. The room we stayed in was big and beautiful, wouldn't change anything. It was just simply home away from home.
All the staff we came in contact with were friendly even the ones that was just passing by. They are very helpful as well. I remember the night when we arrived we decided to go to the pool and was bringing our room towels and a staff member told us that there should be towels by the pool and she went out of her way to ensure that they were still towels there and found us and gave them to us. After checking out we decided to stay awhile to enjoy the pool and a gentleman, not sure if he was the manager or supervisor gave us a room to put down our stuff and to even shower after. That showed us how much they look out for their guests. Simone who did my mani and pedi did an excellent job as well, I loved the service she provided.
The rooms were clean, bathroom were updated and looking amazing, bed was so comfy you will just fall asleep in no time. Everything was functional.
The food we ordered for breakfast and dinner for the 3 of us was 10/10. The presentation was wonderful, they all tasted great, the portion was great as well.
The Cliff hotel is where you would go to relax, chill and entertain yourself with all the activities you can do on property like the pool, dart, connect 4, pool volleyball and other games provided. It's just peaceful. It's not a big hotel with lots of stuff going on but you can make the best of it with your traveling partners.
There is nothing I would say I didn't like, because even though you have to pay for your meals, you have the option to eat outside of the hotel. But you have to atleast try one meal from the hotel to experience their food. You will surely get a belly full.

Words would not do justice to my experience at this hotel. We celebrated our 20th anniversary which will be unforgettable.
Excellent cuisine that I would rate a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Staff professional, helpful and courteous. Our experience was exceptional as I have been sharing with friends and family.
My short stay.
I wouldn’t say that I did not like it but I would have preferred, would have loved a deeper salt water pool.

Everything! The location was so picturesque and tranquil - exactly like the pictures. It was simply the perfect stay and we were also lucky to spend time there when it wasn’t at all busy which made it feel like we basically had the place to ourselves. Working out in the gym and then going for a morning dive off the cliffs into the ocean was just glorious. Our kids loved everything about it too. Extra special thanks to Sophia looking after us in the restaurant, super service and magical food on the most beautiful sunset terrace. We’ll definitely be returning and already looking forward to it.
Honestly, it just felt perfect - no complaints at all.

The hotel grounds and the one bedroom suite were beautiful. The view from the cliff just blows you away. It was generally very quiet in the suite as it is in most of the hotel, except for the last day...there were some really loud children located downstairs but that did not last too long. There was one slight problem with the toilet which was addressed right away. The suite was spotless and turndown service was provided. We also liked that the hotel listened to some of the previous feedback from other guests. The Zest was able to accommodate more vegetarian options for my girlfriend which she said were DELICOUS and the ride the airport was reserved for us at $88. The driver was awesome! The cliffs themselves were truly spectacular. The waiting pool was not working on the first day but the staff worked hard to get it back up. Still had some algae but we were able to take a dip before leaving, This is important as not everyone feels comfortable jumping into the ocean. The two onsite managers were so very pleasant and knowledgeable. They each provided a unique perspective and we were grateful to be able to interact with them. I would only suggest that they check in with guests at times other than dinner. Our dinner on the last night was usurped with a longer version of these discussions which was not ideal. The team at the Zest do an AMAZING job of making you feel welcomed and loved. A very BIG THANK YOU to them. They clearly work very hard. My partner was a little sad that she did not get to use the spa services although the entire place feels very serene. We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
WIFI was really bad in the suite. It kept leaving and the tv would disconnect. While the front desk staff was pleasant to interact with, they did not always seem happy. Also, while they try to be helpful, they appear to be more reactive than proactive. We continuously had to inquire about finding a MoBay reservation and ended up doing it on our own. We also inquired about the service fee that appeared on every bill. We wanted to understand the difference between this and a tip since the information on the internet varies. Some say it the same thing. We wanted to do the right thing. The front desk staff just said that different but could not explain. He seem a bit annoyed by the question. Some additional feedback for your consideration: (1) BUG SPRAY: Please have bug spray handy wherever possible. We played pool one night in that enclosed area and the bugs ate my girlfriend alive. Her legs are still recovering. (2) ORIENTATION AND OTHER OPTIONS:
Provide or create an orientation for people coming for the first time to get them situated in the hotel. Share some fun facts and/or brief history. Maybe make recommendations in the local area and for meals. The Zest is great and was fine as we stayed for 3 days fine but I am not sure how we would have managed if we stayed longer. (3) PRICING: For drinks, please make sure the price menu is updated and reflects costs accurately. We did not mind paying more but again, it should be accurate. Still, some meals and drinks did seem too expensive. This was especially true for the "tonight's specials" which were way more than expected. Again, just disclose the cost beforehand so your guests can make informed decisions.
Nonetheless, THANK YOU for a wonderful stay. It really is an exceptional location especially for big events.

The property was exceptional. It was so tranquil. The views from every angle is to die for. As far as breakfast, I wold have preferred a more authentic menu. The menu was limited.
Menu selection. However, many local restaurants like Murphy’s close by.

From when our driver dropped us off. We were welcomed by such a friendly staff who greeted us with hot towels to wipe our hands and face, and a fantastic refreshing drink. Every single staff member was amazing. The food was delicious and the room was out of this world. I'm truly happy that I chose this location for our engagement celebration. I WILL BE BACK!!!

the views are stunning. nice touches included like free canapés & some drinks. the hotel, unlike others does not make you feel like they are just trying to get more money from you.
the AC in the room is poor. there is no kettle in the room.

The location was quiet side of Negril; but still many note worthy Cafe's and restaurants and lounges for drinking and dancing with the locals.
I will recommend the Spa therapy. Massage and salon service was excellent.
Every staff member was friendly, helpful and courteous.
I will also recommend that visitors eat at the restaurant. Food served is delicious and masterfully displayed on white plates.
Would had liked to have excess to a computer and printer.
Would had liked to have been told in advance that front office could help with unwanted mosquitos slipping into the room. The Cliff staff can help with this matter; we just asked too late in our stay.

Excellent location, good food.
Amazing people, the whole staff from the bar, restaurant, lifeguards, security, cleaning and the general manager create a great atmosphere.
Drinks were marginally more expensive than other places in the area.
