Prima kamer met goede bedden. Kamers en badkamer waren schoon en ontbijt was genoeg keus. Bij aankomst lag de sleutel klaar en konden we naar onze kamer.

Poor value for money, outdated and no real customer focus

The house from the outside is a nice looking German village house.
Upon arrival, we weren't greeted by anyone. The key was just left by the window sill, no human contact at all. I could understand if we had arrived in the middle of the night but we arrived in the afternoon so I found it really odd. Then comes the room, it's sooooo tiny and we paid about 150€ a night for a family room. The bunk bed wasn't even long enough for my son and the top of the bunk bed someone could only sleep there when one is extremely flexible!! And the pillows were flat as paper 🥴 then we looked out of the window to see cemetery 😂 the road is also extremely loud, even after midnight. None of us could sleep and this is actually the worst accomodation we had during our 6 week trip 🤪 breakfast they mentioned it is 'widely spread' but it is not. There were not even fresh fruits. And the eggs, given that it is in the village, they opted to give the guests Bodenhaltung eggs which are the worst really.... So if the eggs are already from Bodenhaltung, I wouldn't even want to know the quality of the rest of the breakfast spread. But I agree, the ladies in the dirndls serving breakfast were very sweet, but then they are not the only one playing role in your stay, are they?!

The house was everything you expect from a German type house. Flowers, terras, balconies, many wooden features. The shutters for the windows are excellent to sleep with the window open for some fresh air in the night when it is warm. Breakfast was good and staff is very friendly.
The house is next to a road and when you sleep with the window open it can be noisy.

Nice and clean apartment which we booked as a one night sleep during our trip. Close to the highway and perfect breakfast. It is a good value for the money.
Very friendly owners, but not fluent in english.

If you're travelling along the highway, e.g. towards Austria like I was, you can't beat this place for a rest on your way. Nothing fancy, but it ticks all the checkmarks, especially for single travellers like me. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was nice, although I would've personally preferred an espresso/cappuccino type of coffee (they give you a carafe, like in typical American diners). The room was clean (for my standards, my wife would probably disagree 😋).
The WiFi is *very* tricky to get right. When your laptop/phone opens the login page, do *NOT* click on the "Login as guest" button. This will only give you 4 hours from the moment you click and then it's over. Instead you have to scroll to the bottom of that page and find another button, something like "Login as customer" or something, and then you enter the username and password that the hotel will give you. But of course, with free roaming all over the EU this is less of a problem, unless you're not coming from a country in the EU.
Also, the bed was not comfortable for me. I am not a tall guy, probably an average guy at 1.74m, but the bed felt short and I just couldn't fall asleep right. Also the room isolation is bad, especially if you have the window glass open (e.g. because it's summer and you need to get fresh air).

Booked it for my parents - they were absolutely delighted with the warmest welcome, support and help from the hosts. Beds very super comfortable so they managed to get good sleep first time in 7 days on the road. Breakfast was exceptional. Thank you Martina for all your care!!
nothing to add

The staff (reception and breakfast) were exceptionally friendly and professional. Made you feel welcome when you arrive tired. Breakfast was good (and carefully wrapped in Covid restriction times). Liked the free parking. Room was very tidy. Free Wifi worked well. Separate balcony available for smokers. No smoke pollution for non-smokers.
In rural Catholic Germany, the church bells toll hourly til 10pm, which is quite cute. If that annoys you, then better take ear plugs.

Comfortable, well-equipped, spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. We recommend this accommodation.

Good location, easy check-in, cosy room, good parking, friendly staff.
Church was right next to the hotel, very noisy. The room was a bit dusty and found some hair in the bathroom.
