Loved the beach front with fantastic views on east beach and very easy walk to town. Ruby’s place was also very comfortable

Breathtaking views, lovely town, spacious and well-equiped house.
The views from the property were amazing (why we decided to book the property) but were very hard to appreciate through the dirty sliding doors (notably onto the decks from both the lounge and main bedroom). We found this extremely disappointing; to the point where we resorted to finding a window washer in the laundry and actually cleaning the lounge sliding door ourselves so we could appreciate the view we'd paid extra for. This made a massive difference.
Other minor maintenance is required:
3+ light bulbs in the kitchen require replacement.
TV remote doesn't work in the main bedroom - ? new batteries required.
Single arm chair in the lounge appears to be broken - sidearm wobbles precariously.
WIFI login details were listed in the compendium but when we repeatedly attempted to login it said the server was down.
However, these are all super easy fixes and it would take very little to turn this into a 10/10 stay :)

Great location right on the beach

Not applicable - self catering
We reported the wifi as not functional and the agents advised that there is nothing they can do - this was frustrating for work requirements and also for TV internet useage - pity they cannot improve this and have a better service.

The beach front access was sensational. It was a nice spacious house.

The absolute beach front location is epic. So good to be able to walk off the deck onto the beach for a morning swim. I'd stayed in another apartment in the same building about a year ago. This one had a much newer and nicer interior, was cleaner, and although we didn't utilise them had a great collection of books and board games.
Nope. It was perfect and everyone agreed.

Great location with lovely beach views and a path down to the beach.
Large open plan living space.
Comfortable bed.
The windows and doors were very dirty, although I realise it's windy and salty....
There is no hair-dryer which at this price really should be there... you need to turn on the gas bottles for heating and cooking which was not in the info booklet, it was on the fridge which we didn't see....
There is an insect plague in the area which isnt the fault of the agent but there were thousands of dead insects on the floors and in the door tracks which hadn't been swept up in a while as there were cobwebs tangled in the doorways also. We spent an hour vacuuming and washing windows so we could enjoy the view....
Also noticed in the kids room, the mattress on the trundle has a badly torn cover which looks terrible.
Pity as it's a lovely spot, just in this price bracket , I expect more. With the bug Robles, cleaners need to come in before people arrive and do a bug vac and check.

great location right on the beach but ….
The double glazed windows have moisture between them which makes it impossible to clean. (They tried for us). Our car was also blocked in with plumbing works at the front and this caused us anxiety and meant we had to keep changing our plans. (We came here to get away from renovations next to our own home, so this was far from ideal) No upkeep is done on this property and it’s a great shame, we paid more for this property only to wish we had gone elsewhere 🙁 The property managers did their best to help but all in all if was not the relaxing time away we needed

The spectacular view
Very spacious townhouse
Lack of cleanliness
Beds very uncomfortable
States it sleeps 8 but not true as it really sleeps 6 and has only 1 very poor trundle with a badly ripped cheap piece of foam and the other didn’t even have a trundle, only a small piece of foam
Armchair in lounge is sagging and not worth sitting on
Toilet in main bedroom leaks
They took our bins out for rubbish collection day but never brought them back so we had no where to throw out our rubbish

Glorious views to the ocean, from a well-designed and generously proportioned house. Lots of little things enhanced our stay, like a seat next to the outdoor shower for taking off wetsuits, great selection of books, a variety of cooking implements, and comfy furniture.
we were warned that the free internet was a little unreliable - but it didn't work at all - so no netflix, but there were lots of good books and games

Large, spacious home. Great position and access to the beach. Comfortable beds.
No wifi even though the property states it has wifi. This was a let down especially as a family with 3 teenagers.
No gas so we couldn't use heating or cooking appliances on the first day/night.
Sliding glass doors on both levels were so old and worn you could barely see out of the glass! Photos of the windows are very deceiving. They need replacing desperately.

View was fantastic from balcony. House was very clean and well presented. Kitchen was easy to use and well laid out. Up stairs was nice a place to be when it was sunny.
We had booked Ruby's Beachfront but it was changed on us at the last minute due a "dead animal smell" in the house and we where given Blue Vista instead.
The down stairs was really cold - no heating. Probably a nice place in summer but not set up well for winter guests.
The lack of WIFI and or Sky/Foxtel in this day and age was a real let down. Any one with kids/teenagers knows that is a main part of keeping them entertained at night. Expensive for the three nights we stayed. These comments are for Blue Vista.

Space and View
Better amenities, more attention to cleanliness, and a more personal Hospitality. We didn't like the obvious lack of these.

The view was amazing. Watching the surf from the living areas and the master bedroom was amazing. The kitchen had all the pots pand and utensils we needed to enjoy a home cooked meal while sitting on the porch. Also, the town was really close.
Too many stairs but I guess the elevation is necessary to get the best view from the upstairs suite.

Loved the location and ocean view, house was warm and had clean soft linen
DVD player didn't work and no netflix...but we had lots of games and an amazing view to entertain us

Spectacular view and it was great to have access to the beach. Short walk into town. Very spacious.
BBQ was in the garage, which meant travelling up and down stairs with the dinner meats.

Really well appointed. Great view. Very comfortable for a group. Would book again
Picture Windows were so dirty we couldn't even see the sea view. had to clean them ourselves. to be fair there had been bad weather the day before which may have been the reason.

Didn’t have to go up the street to get the key.
The naming of the property out the front. Very hard to find and impossible at night

Loved the view of the beach. Walk into town was approximately 1.5 kms. Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults & a baby. Main bedroom was an excellent size with beautiful views. Very comfortable with good wifi. King size beds were comfortable with plenty of extra doonas if needed.
The oven was a bit tricky with knobs coming off.
Worth noting that there are stairs to main living areas and then more to the main bedrooms if mobility is a concern. We made our own ‘ do not disturb ‘ signs for the toilets and bathrooms. Locks on those doors would be helpful.

The place was dusty especially under the trundle, was expecting a bunker as advertised. The 2 trundles were not made up for the occupants. Photos on the site looks newer than what it is
