Week end a l échappée belle

L échappée belle porte très bien son nom. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end. Tout était parfait . Appartement très bien situé tres bien aménagé très propre très calme à proximité de tout. Stationnement facile .nous reviendrons chez vous sans hésitation.

Bon emplacement à 5/10 min du centre, literie confortable, grand salon spacieux, joli déco simple :)

Douche un peu étroite, le sol n’était pas complètement bien nettoyé, manque de serviettes de bain mais nous avons pu en récupérer à la laverie donc pas de soucis pour ça.

Je ne recommande pas cette location.

L'emplacement de l'appartement.

Le logement n'était pas très propre. Le linge mis à disposition est tout chiffone, on se demande s'il a été lave. Dans un des lits faits, la housse de couette n'était pas tout à fait sèche et dans l'autre lit linge douteux.

Excellent comfortable accommodation

Fantastic accommodation in the centre of the town. Great location. Very clean. Comfortable space. Excellent security entrance. Lovely and warm interior. Lots of space for families.

The apartment is in an excellent location to get around Dieppe.

We hadn't realised that you would need to go through one bedroom to get to the other.

Entering the appartment was by key code, not easy when one's French is suspect

location was close to centre, flat had everyything one would expect at the price. It was fine.

Nice location

The location is the best it's just in the town center and accessible to everything.

I didn't expect the bedrooms are right next to each other. And the shower is too tiny.

A light and airy apt. Near everything. Charming.

The location was good, the apt was comfortable and light. It provided all that you needed to be able to cook and eat in if desired. Lovely to hear the church bells .

Could have been a little cleaner, the floor and skirting were not very clean. Needed wardrobe or more hanging space. A English Tv channel or English subtitles for the Tv would have been good. Shower very small. But effective. Overall good value.

Good, would use again

Slight problem using the code. It was slightly different for second door. And it was torrential rain…. Eager to get in, Interior lovely, nice windows, and quiet, the bedrooms were adjacent , so accessing bathroom was rather difficult, to avoid waking up the person in adjacent room, but it was one night, I slept well, and ate a lovely meal nearby.

Needed Pictures of the actual codes for each door. Very stressful trying to access entrances,

door code could be given before leaving for france to ease the stress.-slight worry about arriving and finding phone does not work for some reason and being unable to gain access.having the door code prior to visit would be great

Excellent

Excellent location. Parking not an issue as some others have commented. Go down Rue Irene Bourgois, opposite the flat and there is an underground car park 60 mtrs away. Parking de l'Hotel de Ville. €14.00 per 24 hours. Excellent Saturday market on your door step(See 2 photos). A must to visit the Canadian War Cemetery. 10 minutes by car. Beautifully kept, but very sobering to see all those 700+ men who died 19th Aug 1942, on the Dieppe raid (See 1 photo). A visit to the museum in the town before you visit, gives you all the background you need. Late night drinks good at the Novek Arena, 15 mins walk. Enjoy!!

close city center large space bedding is fine equiped with filter coffee machine, but no coffee available, not even for the first cup

couldn't close door from inside so every one with code could enter which I didn't like, made me feel unsafe. Difficult to find adress. Overall not clean, plinths floor and walls dirty, water boiler chalky, dusty furniture in bathroom,

Once we got over the original check in problems, this was a great apartment and worked well for us.

This is a nice apartment in the middle of Dieppe, with good facilities and a fair amount of space. The beds are comfortable, and the bedrooms are a reasonable size, but worth mentioning that they are adjoining, so one can only be reached by going through the other. The apartment has plenty of windows, so lots of light. Access is by key code, so no carrying around of keys, and easy checkout.

It was difficult to fine given that there were two addresses for it on Booking.com, as it is on the corner of two streets. Important to just use the Rue D'Ecosse one, as that is where the entrance is. We had not been contacted with any specific instructions, other than our agreed hour time slot, so this may have been the issue. Once you do find it it is clearly signed outside. The housekeeper was there to let us in, and also didn't have all the correct information from the host, and wasn't sure whether my payment had been taken, but this was quickly sorted with a phone call. She had also thought that we had been provided with the access code in advance - which I think we should have been, but hadn't! As both she and the host spoke only french, it obviously makes any unresolved issues a little more complicated! If booking therefore it is probably wise to double check info with the host in advance, and chase info you don't have. We were also a little concerned about whether the access codes were changed for every visitor. Having checked out, and new people checked in, we tried the access code to the front of the building later in the day, and it remained the same. This was the same code as our apartment code. The adjoining bedrooms mean that you have to go through the other bedroom to access the toilet, which can be a bit of a pain in the middle of the night in terms of disturbing the other sleepers!! Be mindful that this is in the middle of Dieppe, so can be noisy throughout the night!
