A fantastic stay

We had a fantastic four night stay at the Hole in One while visiting family in the area. The venue is top rate, with a restaurant, conference facilities and meeting rooms, a chapel and bridal suite, a gorgeous pool and bbq (braai) area, and a fantastic poolside bar. The rooms were great and we felt thoroughly at home. The owners and staff are very hands on and always available to help with arrangements and to assist with any needs, and made sure our stay was absolutely out of this world. We cannot thank them enough for making our stay so special. We very much look forward to staying with you again.

Most horrible stay ever

Most horrible stay Deco is old out dated Bathroom tiles are mouldy Sat night generator made loud noise for 4 to 5 hrs Sunday morning the guy decides to mow the lawn from 7 to arnd 9am This hotel needs to be reevaluated.. IL give it 1 star dnt know how they got 4 star rating

Wow - what a gem! Our stay was just excellent!

Excellent stay - owners were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food at their restaurant was great, large portions and very tasteful.

Comfortable and real value for money

Tranquil surroundings. Big spacious room and comfortable bed.

Was without WiFi for most of the evening but is probably due to power outages experienced in the surrounding area. The room description mentioned a balcony but my room had no balcony.

Disappointed with the hotel I chose. I wish I booked elsewhere.

The location

The room need renovations. The furniture is old, handles are broken, wood is chipped and broken. I was quiet upset to see how much they charge an how little they offer.

Rooms nice but run down No hairdryers / plugs

Very noisy guests right through the night Breakfast room was taken over by guests( seems to be extended family) was noisy and messy!! Property outside unkept Definately not 4 *

Generator and borehole, thank goodness!

Breakfast was ok. The coffee was not great, but every effort was made to make it something we would enjoy. I think something was lost in the translation, on occassion, though. The hosts went to a great deal of trouble, despite the area running out of water and so many powercuts. Despite this not being their fault, every attempt was made to help provide a resolution for us and our friends

The terrifying steps. The tiny second shower. But since we were given an option to inspect first, this is not terrible. Better wardrobe facilities would have been great. This may change, as the new owners are renovating and updating the property.

Hole in One, true sense of the words

The owners, both, Chris and Marelize, gave the accommodation a personal , kind, lovely, homely, warm environment. Staff were polite, respectful and went out of their way to assist. Dinner was exceptional and fresh for seafood, divine. The venue itself had its own restaurant, pool, bar, and has its own venue to hire out.

We were quite taken back by the place, as there was nothing to complain about. Load shedding didn't even set us off, as the generators kicked in within a few minutes.

Great host and hostess who are very friendly, good location and good value!

Central location and had all amenities we were looking for. Loadshedding times were no problem due to generator on site. Wifi in all areas was excellent

Could do with some refurbishment in the bathrooms

Ok for a quick stopover

The staff overall were friendly. Location for one night was fine as we had a function a km away.

Change of ownership in process so the grounds are messy at the moment with building things going on. Rooms we had outdated and in need of some TLC. Basic but OK. Lots of potential.

The place is in a quite location, very secure and clean. The staff and owner were great host especially the cleaning staff and a guy called Boyd

The delivery guy from Uber eats was not allowed to enter the premises so we had to walk from our room to meet him by the gate and it was raining, just didn't understand what security measures where implemented there

Well-situated, spacious. Undergoing renovations at the time of visit.

Unfortunately undergoing renovations, so it looked unfinished. The air conditioning unit in the suite didn’t work.

Very good

The Location was suitable and the room was comfortable.

There was no breakfast due to generator not working. I specified vegetarian as a special request and not even a cheese sandwich was offered. Had a friend visit and was asked to pay for the guest even though he did not stay over. Owner assumed he was my husband and was staying over. Staff should have checked with security to confirm if guest stayed over rather than asking me.
