Our recent stay at Villa Tamonante was excellent. The villa has all the amenities you need although I would recommend having a car. Caleta de Fuste is only 10 minutes in the car. We had a number of lovely days by the pool, evenings in the hot tub or playing pool in the games room and enjoying beautiful sunrises on the terrace. We are a family of 4 and there was ample room over the three floors so everyone had their own space. Peter and Nico were really helpful, responsive and always on hand. I would highly recommend without hesitation and am hoping to get back next year. Thank you all for an enjoyable relaxing break.

Lovely villa ideal for 2 families to share as you have 2 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor. Everything you could need is there. Peter is very helpful and quick to sort out any issues. We had no TV in the villa for a week boys were a bit disappointed as wanted to watch sport. Richard fixed it just in time for FA cup final. The tv’s in all the other rooms except the main room did not work at all in our 2 week stay. It takes between 20 and 35 mins to walk down hill into the resort, a taxi back is between €3 to €4 we always gave €5. It’s About €5 to the Mercadona and Lidl. We BBQ quite a bit and played pool most days made great use of the villa. If you like the beaches hire a car as the beaches are beautiful you could be in the Caribbean. We will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend this villa. Thank you for a wonderful holiday

Really well set out with the various outside spaces. Great location for popping in to Caleta with it's beaches and restaurants.

Villa Tamonante provided a great base for us to have a brilliant holiday as a family of 5 though can comfortably sleep up to 8. The facilities provided both internally and externally were superb, particularly the heated pool and Hot tub on the roof terrace. Kitchen well stocked with all you would need and Villa was really clean, the TV had all channels you could wish. Wi-Fi decent on the main floor in the lounge. Bed and bathrooms well sized with en suite in the master and two further shower / bathrooms which had great hot running water a plenty. Lots of external space across 3 levels with stunning views back into Caleta with good sun beds and modern patio furniture to use to relax on. Finally, the Property team in Peter and Nico are excellent in helping manage our stay with timely e-mails and easily accessible by phone , meeting us promptly on our last day to help us get away to the airport .

Wow! As a family of 8 adults, we were concerned how living all in one villa was going to work. But we did not need to worry. There was enough space for everyone! The villa is on 2 levels which worked out great for us. There was everything we needed. From kitchen utensils to wii games. Everything was covered. The villa is situated on a hill. It's around a 20 minute walk downhill to town and only €4-5 back up to the villa via a taxi. The taxi's are very easy to book and reliable. Peter from the maintenance team, was also helpful and always contactable. We arrived early in the morning and they were able to get the villa ready very quickly for us. Bedding and furnishings were clean and fresh and the washing machine was very convenient. The views were amazing from every terrace, with views of the town, bay and beach. The pool is a good size. Big enough for a float on a lilo or 2. There's a good size fridge freezer in the kitchen and a dishwasher. We got a taxi to the Mercadona supermarket next to Lidl and did a 'big' shop. This cost €6 for 8 of us each way. There was also a smaller supermarket and a brit supermarket only a 20 minute walk away. The villa was in a good location for us. It had everything we needed and we look forward to our next stay at the property.

Lovely villa in a quite area. Nice and spacious. The villa had everything we needed but would recommend you have a car. We had a lovely family holiday with lots of lovely memories.

The villa is lovely & spacious with great views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & high praise for Peter, Nico & Michael who were a joy to deal with - lots of tips on where to go & nothing was too much. Just returned from our 3 week stay at this lovely villa. Spread out over 3 floors with hot tub on upper floor with beautiful views over Calleta especially at night. Lounge/diner nice and spacious but kitchen very small and poorly designed, could not open fridge door fully due to sliding door and framework and freezer completely frozen solid on arrival to the point where I had to defrost it as draws would not go back in after opening. It began to freeze up quite quickly following this. Outside balcony from lounge was lovely with nice relaxing furniture however unable to move sunshade around during day due to weight of base. Lower ground floor, we only used the bathroom and shower but this led out to pool area which was lovely, plenty of sunbeds however a number of them had broken slates underneath which did make them a bit uncomfortable after lying on them for any length of time. Pool was lovely with a good temperature maintained throughout although pool cover was not pleasant. Sunshade was broken and was replaced by Nico but it was wrong size for base so was not stable in its base and blew out a number of times but Peter came and undertook a temporary repair. The pool pump was very noisy both day and night. Overall we enjoyed our stay and both Peter and Nico the managers were extremely helpful and always on hand if their were any problems of which we had a few, we informed Nico before we left of a few other concerns some of which had been mentioned in previous reviews and he seemed to be aware of but a bit surprised they had not been addressed.

Easy to book, great communication with hosts for check in and property fully lived up to description. Will definitely be back!

All 3 of us were impressed with the villa from the pictures to real life. The views day and night are amazing. Peter and Nico are there for you at all times on the end of a text. Every thing you could need is provided in the villa.

Lovely villa with all the essentials

We loved the position of the property. Although a long walk from Caleta the views are amazing. It is a pleasant but longish walk into town, or you can drive and park half way and walk the rest. There are restaurants and supermarkets within an easy walk from the villa.

We loved every thing about the villa so tranquil no negatives at all it was so clean we could have stayed for another month if we could have mobility problems but it didn't make any difference we were in the pool every day my arthritis didn't play up.at all I would recommend to my family and friends for future and we will b back and would like to thank Peter who reassured us he was on hand anytime hopefully see you all soon

This is the second time we have stayed at Villa Tamonante which speaks for itself. Its a beautiful villa with loads of room, very clean and tidy and lovely location. The views are amazing. Peter who looks after the villa for Richard and Noreen is fabulous- so helpful, always on hand and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for making our holiday fabulous!

Such a beautiful Villa, Beds are memory foam so very comfortable, has all amenities could you wish for, even down to a beach tent in the cupboard and lunchboxes for the beach. Beds were changed weekly, decor is lovely, great location, beautiful views, easy check in, large rooms.Negatives: the BBQ is chained downstairs next to the pool when the kitchen is on the middle floor so is silly as you cant socialise whilst cooking and the lighting down the side where it is is so bad that you cant see if food is cooked so have to keep removing food, coming upstairs and seeing if cooked and going back down again. we had intentions of barbecuing most nights but ended up gong out as was so difficult. It would be okay of you BBQ before 7pm when it gets dark but still need to go up and down constantly, seems silly that its not on the terrace with the dining table and kitchen. The hot tub: We used it once for 5 minutes as the chlorine level is so high that it burnt our eyes.Few things that would make life easier and more enjoyable - putting a fridge in the games room by the pool as to traipse up and down the stairs is annoying, especially when there is 6 people that needs drinks constantly. Also, Making the outside lights brighter as are so dim.Overall though we did love t and would definitely book again.

Wonderful, clean, well laid out and appointed, tastefully furnished property with everything you need to enjoy your holiday when you just want to relax; hot tub, heated pool, pool table and WII. Great central location and amazing views from 3 floors. Everything you could ask for in a holiday property.

What an amazing Villa! The views are fabulous and the accommodation cannot be faulted, very well stocked and more than plenty of room for the 4 of us. Having the pool table, pool and hot tub were fantastic. We spent many evenings watching the sunset from the hot tub on the roof. Glad we had the car to explore the island although we would have been just as happy at the Villa. Thanks to Jane and Alan for the warm welcome and organising our grocery pack which was much appreciated on arrival. We will definitely be returning and can highly recommend this lovely accommodation for a luxurious getaway!

Let's start with this is one of the best equipped holiday rentals that we've had through HomeAway! The pictures for the villa are spot-on with regards to description. Set at the top of Chipmonk Mountain on the outskirts of Calette, the villa is ideally situated within a mainly residential area, but with similar rental properties either side. Situated over 3 floors, there are great views over the town, sea and nearby golf course. On the top floor of the villa is your own spa jacuzzi big enough for 5, along with 2 sunbeds. Due to the climate on the island, it's usually very windy on this floor which makes the 35 degree heat of the hot tub even more enjoyable. On the main floor is the spacious living & dining space, with adjacent kitchen. Patio doors lead out to a very large patio with corner suite and dining furniture. There are also 2 bedrooms on this level, one of which is en-suite. Going down the interior stairs takes you to 2 further bedrooms and another bathroom. At the end of this area, and adjacent to the outside space, is a large family room complete with pool table, sofas, wii and ipod dock. Patio doors take you outside to your own private pool, which although isn't massive in size, was big enough for the 4 of us in at a time. Plenty of sunloungers beside the pool. a charcoal BBQ and further tables & chairs. There were also pool inflatables available for our use. The house was really clean when we arrived and we had paid for a welcome pack as well - given our arrival time, it was appreciated. Directions from the airport were faultless and we were met by the management team of Jane & Alan who made us feel most welcome for our entire stay. Roughly 20 minutes walk down the hill to mostly British themed restaurants and pubs which are with a low-level hotel complex...supermarket, Indian, Nestors steak, Pizzart. A further 10-15 minutes takes you down to the town itself with its variety of eateries, clubs and bars. On the way back, a taxi costs in the region of 4 euros. We'd highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a relaxed break away where you can stay in peace and quiet, whilst also enjoying the facilities within a close walking distance.

This villa as many positives but also a few negatives if we are being very fussy. The photos are quite misleading as a good wide angled lense camera was obviously used. Very small impractical kitchen and small swimming pool albeit warm. This pool could not accomadate 4-7 people in it all at the same time. BBQ impractical due to downstairs and you would really be looking to eat upstairs. The positives are aplenty, excellent entertainment, the kids loved the pool table and hot tub. The TV package was superb and the best I have encountered in a rental villa. The location is lovely albeit a long way out although nothing a good walk cant correct, would recommend a taxi back though ( about 3 Euro ). Comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe space. The upstairs seating area ( where BBQ needs to be ) is lovely with excellent views, very nice to chill out late afternoon and evening. Shower/bathrooms adequate. The management team of Alan and Jane were second to none, excellent at getting back to you very quickly and rectifying problems as soon as able. The owners were exactly the same. On arrival the pool was green and Richard sorted it out immediately. Did wonder if pool was cleaned prior to arrival!! Restaurants in town as usual were very nice, our favourites are El Patio and Lins. Ocean View under the Atlantico centre great for breakie! Been to Caletta many times and to us it was very quiet, we hope it perks up. Overall a great villa worth the money we paid and it was great to get away. Would definitely return to this villa as more than adequate for a week or two away.

Fantastic property in a quiet neighbourhood yet only minutes away from beach and restaurants via taxi, would recommend a car or taxi's for trips back to villa as hill is a steep incline but taxi's only cost 3 to 4 euros, as the restaurants are good value for money paying for a taxi after a bottle or two is great ... Plenty to do if you prefer staying in from playing pool, watching sky TV or relaxing in the hot tub and pool at night looking over the neighbourhood and sea. A massive thank you to Jane and Alan for the warmest of welcomes, they are genuinely the nicest of people. Will definitely look at booking again

We stayed at Villa Tamonante for two weeks in April 2019 and loved every minute of it!! As a family of four there was plenty of space, we wanted for nothing!! Well stocked kitchen and linen changed. The friendly welcome and help we received from Jane and her husband was second to none, they are immediately on hand if required with anything you need. I have even learnt to order a taxi in Spanish much to my kids embarrassment!! Taxis are around 4 Euros into the Centre of Castillo and we waited no longer than a couple of minutes. Would definitely recommend staying here.

March 2019 This Is the best villa we have ever stayed in. The villa is only a short distance from the airport with a large supermarket on route, We hired a car and collected our weekly shopping before we arrived. Jane and Alan meet us Outside and showed us around the villa taking time to explain were everything was making us feel welcome and at home we cannot thank them enough. The villa was very spotless and well maintained with all equipment that’s needed for self catering. There is a tv in every room although it’s only the main living room that’s has all satellite channels you can get some English Channels on the remaining tv’s but they are limited. Bedrooms have very comfortable beds with plenty of wardrobe space. We enjoyed the heated swimming pool and jacuzzi with its amazing views from the balcony, we would suggest a hand rail for getting in and out the pool. There are plenty of great day trips to go on including Lanzarote, quad or buggy safari, volcano hike and wine tasting, you could just relax on the beech or sunbath by the pool. Whatever you choose to do I am sure you will have an amazing time we will definitely be booking again soon. A final thank you to Richard the owner and Jane and Alan who all made our holiday special. A wonderful well equipped villa with exceptional views over Caleta de Fuste. The villa is approximately 25min walk downhill to the centre of town or 4 euros in a taxi. taxis are plentiful and prompt when phoned. A nice touch at the villa is how to order a taxi written phonetically. The villa would not suit the less mobile due to the number of stairs but it is pretty stunning. I look forward to visiting again and thanks to Jane & Alan for the guided tour when we arrived, a very nice touch.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa. Beautiful views from the terrace and the villa itself was great. Plenty of space in the slightly quirky layout which we liked. Any problems which arose were dealt with immediately and communication was excellent. We had a hire car but used taxis to get into town (when we didn't walk). They arrived within minutes and were very cheap (€3.70 for a six seater). Kitchen maybe a wee bit small for a villa this size if we're being very picky but well equipped. If we were to return to Caleta De Fuste we would certainly consider staying here again.
