The location was outstanding. The hill is a bit tough on folks w mobility issues, but we managed. The breakfast was a wonderful addition we did not expect.
An elevator from the road?? Kidding. Unfortunate there was no wine tasting.

Perfect location with beautiful views, comfortable rooms. Staff friendly and helpful.
Most minimal of buffet breakfasts I've ever seen and doesn't start til 8am which is a little annoyingly late. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel but a 2 star hotel in a 5 star location. Expensive for what you get.

Location was nice enough. Also decently clean.
Very, very uncomfortable beds. Not very practical bathroom, everything wet all the time.

The location is great in the old part of the town, the room is furnished in a traditional manner, and the breakfast was very good, continental and English breakfast were available, fruits as well.
There was no mirror in the room and I was not told that I have to put the sign "Please clean up my room" for the maid to come.

You simply can’t beat the location - the hotel is in the beautiful old city, so close to all the restaurants but really quiet day and night. We stayed in the penthouse and the views of the lake from the living area and bedroom were simply spectacular! The customer service is excellent, breakfast was delicious, everything was really clean. We’ve stayed here twice now and we can’t wait to return again one day!

Great location. Nice comfortable room. Good breakfast.
The first room downstairs was smelly (cigarette or mould). After complaining, I got a nice, fresh and better room. Seems that they know that downstairs room is smelly; they have a lot of complaints. Why renting it out then? Elena at the reception was not to blaim but the owner (Greek lady) should do something about it!!!

This is a beautiful winery/hotel in the old town of Ohrid - the setting is idyllic. We had a complimentary glass of wine the first evening from the hotel's own winery, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was amazing - homemade buns, homemade apricot jam - these nice touches elevate the experience.
My bathroom/shower was super-tiny and difficult to navigate but this is to be expected in the old town. Coffee is from an automatic machine, so not the best. If you are a coffee buff like I am, you will have to get it elsewhere.

The location was amazing and the breakfast was good!
The fact that I couldn't reach the reception when I needed help. It's not 24/7.

Old town location and views
Rooms are very dated - for the price we paid for the Penthouse we expected 10/10 but you are paying mostly for the view and some extra living space. The bathtub leaked and flooded the bathroom floor every time we took a shower. Some of the blinds in the living room are broken so you couldn’t properly close / open during the day/night.
Service was very strange.
We asked for some help to pay for parking, as we could not pay via sms as the parking signs ask for. Firstly, the lady at check in told us that where we parked was very expensive and we should try elsewhere, but we parked exactly where the hotel recommended to park in our communications before arriving! She then told us to just go back and find the parking man, who would be somewhere on the street. We went back to the car (which is not super close to the hotel) and walked around for 20 minutes but didn’t see anyone. At this stage it started raining heavily and we eventually asked a local to help us. They directed us to a proper permanent ticket office on the next street where we paid on the spot. The whole thing was a total waste of time.
We also had a confusing situation with the same manager when checking out as she told us the payment for the room did not go through and asked me to provide another credit card to process the bill. I didn’t question this and handed over a card but it did not work on the machine. At this point I realised that I had already pre-paid in full with booking.com and so should not be giving any cards for payment. I showed her the confirmation but she kept saying that she had not received the money and we needed to stay while she sorted it out. I refused to hand over any more cards as I was afraid of being double charged and was eventually asked to sign an invoice (in cyrillic which I don’t read). I was very uncomfortable but I really didn’t know what more to do and by then we just wanted to leave.

nice location, good view, quiet atmosphere,
Maybe because out of season we were there, bathroom was quite cold. Other than that, it is always good there!

We were on a working holiday so chose the penthouse apartment since we would be spending more time than usual in the room.. Spacious with a functional kitchen and the views were stunning! Fantastic location in charming Old Town and walkable to many restaurants and sights. Staff were wonderful- Ivana went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our time in Ohrid. Variety of choices for a large, delicious breakfast.
Room was very clean though there was a bit of staining on the grout in the shower.

Great location in the old town. High standard.
Nothing.

The room was nice and well equipped, the personel friendly and the location perfect. The breakfast was of good quality (exept the coffee) and was served at the table (due to corona). The personal was really respecting the Corona-etiquette, which makes us feel very safe.
For two persons with two suitcases the room was a little bit to narrow. But that is acceptable in the old town.
The "coffee" served with the brakfast was from an oldschool cooffee automate, it didn't taste like real coffee. We would have prefered real coffe either italien or mazedonian type.
Unfortunately the vinery was not open in the evening.

This lovely villa is in my opinion settled in the best part of the Old Town of Ohrid, since it's nested just between the magical narrow mediterranean old streets of Ohrid and the long city sidewalk by the stunning lake, and just minutes from the main marine port, main pedestrian street with local shops, and seconds from the restaurants by the water with the lake view. It is a exceptionally clean villa with all the facilities one needs.
The view was one of the best views I've experienced - two big windows and a little balcony with the view of lake and old red roofs, all looked as if we were by a sea gulf (it's the west that you see through the windows, so you get to see super lovely sunsets).
The staff were so lovely, they provided all I needed, and Emilija, the host, she was super-friendly, always smiling and providing lots of crucial information, making us feel at home really. Since we arrived earlier than the check-in time, Emilija let us in to leave the luggage in a secure place. And she did the same after we checked-out - so helpful!
The room was silent, the air-condition supported us really well on one hot day. In the mornings there's no direct sunlight into the eyes, due to the western side of the rooms. There are lovely cats at the entrance at the street sunbathing all day long <3
Thank you!

Cute little guest house in the heart of Old Town Ohrid. Good, knowledgeable front desk lady checked us in efficiently. She was fastidious about hygiene and mask wearing.
As with any Old Town location in Ohrid, it was quite a walk from the nearest parking location. Importantly, the "winery" part of this "Villa & Winery" is really just a restaurant, but it is inexplicably still closed for covid, despite the fact all other restaurants in town are open. This was very disappointing as we picked the location precisely because we though it was really a winery.
4.0
- perfect location
- helpful staff
- awful breakfasts
- air condition was not working when we arrived
- no 25-hours reception desk and no way to reach any of receptionist by phone, only via booking chat
- old bathroom
