This is a great family-run small hotel. Everything was great, some of the highlights include the nice bathroom, the spotlessly clean room, and the great location literally 10 meters from the beach. Ms. Sophia, the owner, was very helpful with everything we needed and she cooked the most delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel, it is great value for money and I would certainly return if I went back to Naxos. A couple of extras which made our stay even more comfortable: beach umbrellas were available for the customers to take to the beach and parking space just outside the hotel was available which is quite convenient if you have a car.
The Wi-Fi in our room was poor.

tutto straordinario: camere stupende, colazione fantastica fatta in casa con prodotti tradizionali greci sia dolci che salati preparati ogni giorno da Sophia. Accoglienza straordinaria, quella tipica greca ormai persa nella globalizzazione e nella modernità. Esperienza di Grecia autentica, super consigliato a tutti, sia famiglie che coppie. Spiaggia stupenda attaccata a pochi passi con ristoranti e taverne raggiungibili in pochi minuti a piedi. Inoltre posizione strategica molto tranquilla, seppur la Chora di Naxos è raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi. Bagno meraviglioso con ampio box doccia e prodotti da bagno in omaggio di altissima qualità (prodotti all'olio d'oliva fatti in Grecia). Per quanto riguarda la camera, letti comodissimi, camere rifatte ogni giorno con cambio asciugamani, anch'essi sempre profumati e morbidissimi, comfort della stanza davvero elevatissimo per gli standard greci delle Isole Cicladi. Infine, ampio terrazzo con stenditoio ed ottima vista e la chicca finale una canna d'acqua per pulirsi dopo la spiaggia. Anche nel patio è presente una fontana per sciacquarsi. Stanza colazioni davvero bella, parti comuni molto curate e sempre pulite, ed anche i dettagli delle camere (come le luci soffuse) davvero moderne, curate e di ottimo gusto. Se tornassi nella fantastica (e poco rovinata dal turismo di massa) Naxos col suo turismo tipicamente greco, non avrei dubbi a soggiornare di nuovo all'Hotel Ilion. Consiglio a tutti Naxos e questo albergo in particolare per chi vuole avere la spiaggia a pochi passi senza rinunciare a pace, comfort e relax assoluti.

The host and service was impeccable. Felt more like home than a hotel. Breakfast was the highlight. Super clean rooms and bathroom, easy check In and out. It's more than value for your money..

The host is extremely friendly, the breakfasts she cooked were great (wondering why people don't mention it here much), you can even get the eggs cooked especially for you the way you like. The bed is big and comfortable (important for my back), AC working perfectly, the location is great -- beach, cafes, stores -- all close and at the same time it is a quite place. There is a mini-kitchen you can use to cook yourself. It takes 15-20 walk to get from the port -- easy to save on taxi. Highly recommend.

From the moment that we were greeted at the airport by Sofia, we knew that we had made the right choice for our accommodations in Naxos. Kind, loving and ready to make everything perfect, Sofia was there. Ilion is located a stone throw away from the beach and within walking distance of downtown. The facilities are immaculately clean. Sofia will also make sure that the breakfast counter is replenished with freshly cooked eggs and omelettes in the morning as you arrive for breakfast, which was, by the way, included with the price. We felt right at home and we would definitely stay here again.

Steps from the beach. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean, bed comfortable and firm. Towels were plush and soft. Breakfast had freshly made eggs, homemade baked goods, yogurt. Dropped us off at the ferry which was a nice perk.

Fantastic location, close to a lovely beach and great restaurants but away from the busy port section. Rooms are comfortable, lovely bathroom and comfy beds. Staff helpful and great breakfast. Definitely recommend.

We stayed in this hotel for one night only. Good location as regards to proximity to everything; beach is a few steps away. Room was comfortable and very clean. Owner was very friendly. We enjoyed the generous breakfast that Sofia prepared and kept refilling. We could not understand each other so much but they took care of us and allowed us to keep our luggage in their reception after check out till later in the day.

Excellent! This hotel is definitely not a 2 star hotel, it' worth much more. Delicious, varied and rich breakfast, perfect cleanliness (the roomkeeper came daily, cleaned everything, changed towels), well equipped room, wonderful bathroom. Literally 30 seconds far from the sandy beach with crystal clear water. Sophia is amazing!

Everything very very good from the location 100 meters from the beach and very close to the center and lots of restaurants. Sophia prepared lovely breakfast every morning we had something different and delicious. Her husband even gave us a lift back to the port.

This property is amazing! Very small hotel of less than 12 rooms with owner Sophia on-site and taking care of her guests.
She cooks and puts together a fresh breakfast buffet daily, cooking eggs to order. My room was spotlessly cleaned daily.

The hotel is about a mile away from the ferry terminal. Walking there is certainly doable depending on the amount of luggage you have. It is tucked behind a somewhat posh restaurant and a stone's throw from a pretty beach. Really easy to walk out any time of the day, grab a chair, and a book, and relax the day away
The property is a bit dated. The innkeeper seemed quite nice but didn't speak English. She offered me a room on the ground floor in between the public toilets and the maid's quarters. I probably could have negotiated a better room had I been able to speak Greek.

Loved the hospitality of the owner. She was so lovely and accommodating. Her breakfast was amazing. So many items from eggs to many homemade dishes that were delicious. The room was super clean and comfortable. Deck had a sea view. Would love to come back and stay longer. Loved Naxos too! We even got a ride to the airport. Wish we did not have to leave.

The owner Sofia made the most amazing breakfasts, fresh cakes and pastries, cheese and egg dishes, sliced ham and cheese, wonderful fresh breads with local jams and fried eggs, boiled eggs or eggs to order. There was nothing missing! We were so full after breakfast we didn’t eat until supper time. Location is amazing, almost right on the beach. Ilion is located behind a small boutique hotel with an exceptional outdoor restaurant.

This hotel was a delightful surprise. Located close to the beach, it also offered easy access to the town.
The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and looked recently renovated.
Breakfasts were superb. Each morning our host prepared delicious Greek pastries. She also cooked eggs to order. I cannot say enough about the breakfasts except I miss them.
The rooms are small which us typical. There us no elevator.

We stayed in the triple/family room. It was very large, basically two sleeping rooms sharing a bath. The rooms were very clean, and they were serviced daily. The location was perfect, just a few steps to beautiful St George Beqch, restaurants and a grocery store. The breakfast every morning was a treat, the best we had during our two weeks in Greece. Ilion Hotel was perfect for us. It had everything we needed at a great value.

The hotel is very charming, a 50 meters from Saint George Beach.
Very nice beach, with all the needs covered, restaurant, umbrellas, bed chairs, shower. Round the corner there is a supermarket,
The center town, very close 5” walk. The port with all the restaurants, cofee shops, and shopping stores also.
The breakfast excellente +++.
The room with balcony, and view to the sea. A lot of space and the bathroom with a spectacular shower.

Great location right at the beach but just a stroll into all the activities of the main town, couldn't be better.

Nice and spacious rooms and bathroom, quality breakfast, the owners took our luggage to the port as we couldn’t do so on our own.
There was a mix-up regarding the beds, as we booked two single ones and the only available one when we arrived was a double one. The owner did give us the choice to move to another one later on, but there was a time limit that wouldn’t allow us to do so.
On arrival we found trash left on the balcony from the previous tenants, and when we informed the owner of the hotel, she accused us of lying to her.

Great stay at Ilion. Amazing location for the beach and a short walk into the old town. Exceptionally clean rooms that were nicely furnished. We had a lovely balcony that got the afternoon/evening sun and had a couple of lines run across it for drying swimwear and towels. Breakfast was extensive with lots of freshly baked cakes, and sweet options however there were always eggs of some kind for the savoury option alongside yoghurt, cereal, bread and cheese. The lady who runs it is lovely and kind and has enough English to communicate what you need. Would definitely come back!
The only problem was WiFi was slightly intermittent at times but it was no problem for us as we could use roaming when needed.

The best parts of this hotel are the location and hospitality of the owner. You are steps away from beautiful Agios Georgios Beach. There you can relax in the sand and swim in the clear Aegean Sea. You are also within easy walking distance to grocery stores, shopping, the marina waterfront, port castle, museums, Temple of Apollo and dozens of restaurants. You do not need a car if you stay here. The host, Sofia, was wonderful. She picked us up and dropped us off at the port, printed documents we needed and her breakfasts were amazing. Every day she baked freshly made Greek specialties and treats that were delectable. She also prepared cooked-to-order eggs for us. She made it an exceptional stay. If you want to stay in a clean hotel that’s close to the beach and town, and you want to experience Greek hospitality at its finest, Ilion is the place for you.
