Bonne situation dans Saumur. Proche du centre Parking à vélo pratique qui nous a permis de les garer pour la nuit en toute sécurité

Un hôtel froid et beaucoup trop impersonnel, à réchauffer et à égayer d'urgence !

Le personnel est très bien, l'emplacement non loin du château pas mal.

La photo est trompeuse, car l'entrée donne sur une petite place défigurée par un supermarché hideux, peint en noir, et son parking ! Une erreur de la mairie, qui n'a pas encore compris qu'il faut déminéraliser et éviter "la France moche". Le style de l'hôtel, récemment agrandi, est impersonnel et froid au possible. Pas de poster aux murs, des éclairages froids. La chambre était comme une boîte, avec ses cloisons et son plafond rabaissé. La salle de bains aussi était éclairée de tons froids. Il faut choisir des leds avec une température de couleur "blanc chaud". La salle du petit déjeuner est oppressante, avec son éclairage de salle d'opération et son absence totale de déco et de couleurs et son buffet au centre qui bouche l'espace. Quelques jolies affiches de châteaux de la Loire, dans une ville aussi jolie que Saumur, seraient les bienvenues. Surtout, la climatisation est bien trop bruyante. Malgré les efforts ouables du personnel d'accueil pour nous la supprimer (eh oui ! un jour où il n'a fait que 26° max dehors, elle n'était vraiment pas nécessaire !) n'ont pas été couronnés de succès : en pleine nuit, la clim a repris et le bruit m'a réveillée. Insomnie garantie... Enfin, tout le monde ne peut pas accéder au parking souterrain, qui est vraiment petit et mal commode. Nous avons eu cette chance, pas nos successeurs.

Location perfect, right in the middle of things and just off the river. Parking in Carrefour opposite for €9 was handy.

The room was tiny, meaning everything had to be squeezed in. There was no window, just a skylight, and accessed only by steep stairs.

Très bon séjour

Nous sommes venu pour le marathon de la Loire. Nous avions un appartement pour 4 adultes un bébé. Nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait. L’hôtel était très bien situé, le personnel très sympa et arrangeant pour l’événement. C’était idéal pour nous.

Petit déjeuner à 5h mais c était suscint.10 euros ne les vaut pas.un café et pain pour 10 euros

Le surplus de 10 euros par heure pour profiter de la chambre à cause du marathon. Ils ont voulu me faire payer une deuxième fois. Ils n ont pas voulu prendre les chèques vacances. C malhonnête.

Perfect for centre of Saumur

Well located in centre of Saumur close to restaurants and shops. Room was comfortable but small. Breakfast was decent value with a good choice. The guy on reception (sorry I cant remember his name) was very helpful in allowing me to park my Motorcycle in the underground garage even though it was a temporary building site. He showed where to park safely.

A welcome stop on my velo journey and the air conditioning was a plus.

We’ll situated. We’ll maintained but I found the pink colour everywhere nauseating. Enjoyed the air conditioning.

Rooms were a little small. The shelf over top of the head of the bed was poorly situated and I hit my head several times on it. The people on the front desk didn’t seem very happy.

A comfortable hotel in the centre of Saumur with excellent safe storage facilities for bicycles. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times even though the hotel was very busy with visitors attending the annual Velo Vintage Festival. There was a good selection of food each morning arranged buffet style. The hotel is thoroughly recommended for a weekend stay or if following one of the many national cycle routes through Saumur.

Maybe a hot food option including boiled eggs for the buffet breakfast.

Friendly staff, comfortable stay.

Clean and comfortable. I note others mentioned small rooms but ours was quite big - a little dark but otherwise perfectly ok.

Towels were a bit hard. limited parking at hotel. Options were pricey car park just outside or free car park about 400 meters down the road. We had hoped for secure parking so not entirely what we wanted but worked out ok.

Lovely and comfortable

All the rooms were perfect. Very clean and comfortable bed. Tea and coffe was lovely and loads of plugs in the room which was very useful.
