Lovely views and could hear birds and see kangaroos. Also a very fair price!
Nothing, but if you didn't have a car it might be tricker as it isn't in town centre. but the location is amazing!

Large spacious apartment in quiet surroundings. Well equipped for a good stay. Had in room dining which was very good.
The decor is a bit dated but still serviceable. Needed to use car to visit town.

Quiet, peaceful- surrounded by nature. Bellbirds, ducks, kangaroos in the grounds

Pulling up to main reception, Wow! Absolutely Beautiful
That there wasn’t a few walking trails or easier access onto the water, but that was no biggie

I did not eat at the restaurant because at the time we were there it was not working.
I expected at least breakfast to be included in the price I paid.

Immaculate cottages and beautiful bushland

What a fabulous location, with easy access to the city centre.
Great welcome from onsite manager.
Shower / bath a little precarious to get in and out of

Pleasant estate on top of a hill just outside the town proper. Lots of wildlife to keep us amused. New entrance an improvement over the old drive. Room in the main building was comfortable though a little small and dated. Swimming pool small but accessible and nicely laid out.
The arrival was very Agatha Christie with no staff on site and very few guests or cars on the estate. A key had been left for us and room was unlocked. Eventually we found another equally bemused guest in the main building.
Even though the dining room was central and capacious there was no catering on offer not even breakfast. We drove to town centre to buy supplies and cooked in the shared kitchen downstairs (obviously there was no competition to use this).
Manager was present next morning to collect payment and he explained the current difficulties in finding staff in remote locations. There had been no chef since CoViD.
Assessment score would have been much higher if services had been operating at the expected levels.

Our room in the main lodge was very spacious. We enjoyed sitting outside on the large, sunny, covered deck with a view of the lake. It was off season and not all facilities were open i.e. the dining area of the lodge. We prepared our own breakfast, using the nice china from the cabinet.
In town, there were only one or two places open for dinner.

The host was helpful. The setting was amazing. The cabin itself was clean and well provisioned. Terrific views and lots of wildlife to admire.
Nothing to dislike.

Location
Room so depressing. Carpet 40 years old. Pool looked awful. Mentioned my husband found carrying bags difficult. No offer to help. He was busy with his kids on holiday. All not very clean and uncared for

Breakfast was AMAZING, we opted for the selection of cooked breakfast as well as continental, the home made berry and yogurt were delicious, and the mushrooms were superb! Thanks Greg!!
The pool was huge, and was sufficient for a few families to use at their leisure, without being crowded. We had a few hits of tennis, and also loved the balconies and bbq on the cottages. They were a really good size. Robyns Nest overlooks the inlet and is such a lovely location to spend a few days, (or weeks if you can!!). So close to Merimbula (about 4 kms walk along the board walk). We loved our stay.
I can't think of anything I didn't like about Robyn's Nest.

Beautiful location and area, so close to town and makes you feel like you’re in your own little world.
False advertising either on booking.com or
On their website. Believed I booked a a seperate stand alone cabin but ended up in a small unit… staff were helpful and apologetic but it’s still disappointing as not what I reserved over the holiday season.
Additionally the bathroom and kitchen cleaning needed ALOT more detailing and way more kitchen supplies were required. No thanks to the bath pubes and only two mugs we had to wash 4 times a day?

The hotel feels pretty remote but thanks to the new road which isnt yet on google, its only a shortwalk to join the Merimbula boardwalk to get into Merimbula. The room was large and clean. There were plates and cutlery so we could have a simple dinner on our balcony. There is even a little kitchenette available if you need to grab anything extra.
