About this villa rental
A contemporary, recently renovated and extended, provencal style villa with its own infinity pool and spectacular views of the Baie des Anges, 'Med View Villa' is located on a quiet and secure domaine at the heart of the Cote d'Azur, midway between Nice and Cannes. In addition to enjoying the delightful villa garden with its private heated pool, extensive pool terrace and patios, guests have use of the large domaine 25m pool. A pleasant walk leads through the adjacent Vaugrenier National Park to the Mediterranean beaches.
The villa is 5 minutes drive from the picturesque medieval village of Biot with its typical boulangeries and cafes around the village square. A short drive takes you to the fine yacht harbour of Antibes, with fascinating medieval streets, provencal markets and the Picasso museum. The sophisticated resorts of Nice and Cannes are close by and Italy is one hour away.
Only 15 minutes' drive along the coast from Nice airport, the villa's convenient location guarantees a perfect holiday.
Excursions: Visit Grasse, surrounded by fields of lavender and jasmine and centre of the French perfume industry since the 16th century. At the Fragonard Perfume museum, you can see the traditional techniques and you can create and bottle your own unique perfume under the guidance of the experts.
Drive along the 'Moyenne Corniche', one of the most beautiful coast roads in Europe, to Monaco. Visitors come from all over the world for the Monte Carlo rally in January and the Grand Prix in May. Visit the Casino, decorated in original Belle Epoque style and see the changing of the guard outside the Royal Palace, every day at noon.
Drive through the Verdon Gorges, in the country to the north of Draguignan, where the River Verdon cuts through the rocks reaching depths of 700m. Along the route are breathtaking views, interesting old villages and lovely walks.
Leave the car at home: the excellent coastal railway takes you west to St Tropez or east to Ventimiglia's famous Friday market in Italy.
Family Fun: Marineland, one of Europe's largest fun parks, is a 5 minute drive. The entertainment complex includes: an aquapark with water slides, a thrilling sea-theatre with orcas and seals, a wild west show, a farm, the Antibes-Land funfair, crazy golf and a go-kart track. There is something for children of all ages.
For an unusual day out, try Villa Kerylos along the dramatic coast road from Nice port to Beaulieu. Villa Rothschild and its magnificent gardens are a must see on Cap Ferat.
Discover the Cap d'Antibes in the 'Visiobulle' - a glass-bottom boat which leaves from the beach at Juan-les-Pins, showing the underwater view of the millionaires' bay with its cliffs and sea reefs.

Beautiful location with lovely property and spectacular views. Comfortable beds, great outdoor spaces, and helpful property manager.

We thoroughally enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all very modern, great air con, main living and dining room is large, kitchen well equipped, tv has a million channels! Pool was lovely, a fairly good size, lovely seating area under an umbrella. The only downside was that we couldn’t eat or be outside in the evenings due the mosquitoes. The view from the pool area was stunning and I spent many hours on a lilo looking out.
The location was great, easy to visit other towns and villages in the area. The complex felt very safe.
Would definitely recommend, we had a lovely time.

My family and I chose this villa because of the heated infinity pool, nice living area and the modern en-suite bathrooms. It’s in a peaceful private estate overlooking Vaugrenier Park and the sea. It’s up a hill, so the views are amazing.
When we got there, we thought it was even better than the photos. The living and dining area was a good size for the six of us. The showers were lovely, had decent power, and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The outdoor dining table was large and covered, making it ideal for eating meals or relaxing away from the sun. The pool was fantastic, and so inviting because of its temperature (warning: you may not want to get out!). The well-maintained flowers and shrubs in the garden complemented the view of the park and coast. And the patio area had loungers and a comfortable outdoor sofa set with a huge umbrella to provide shade whenever needed.
The owner and manager were very friendly and helpful, and we felt well supported throughout. I would definitely recommend a car to get to the bigger supermarkets, Antibes and beyond. My only criticism is that I would have preferred stronger Wi-Fi in the patio area, but it worked well at the outside table and in the villa, so it wasn’t a big deal.
Overall, it was pretty perfect, and I would definitely consider returning.

Apaisante

Fantastic holiday home
We were a family of 8 and had a brilliant stay at the house. The outside space is spectacular with the gorgeous gardens and view of the sea. And all centred around the gorgeous infinity pool. Also a lovely terrace area with large table for all your meals outside and a big bbq.
The interior is lovely too with lots of nice art and large sofa etc. Comfortable beds. Some attention needs to be given to the appliances for example the oven button had fallen off making it hard to use. And one of the room’s air cons dripped the whole time.
There are lots of beaches and restaurants to drive to but for us nothing was close enough to walk to. Especially given the villa is at the top of a steep hill.
Marion (our host) was wonderful and helped us with lots of things.

Villa très bien située avec une vue magnifique. La villa est très bien équipée et confortable . Dommage que la piscine ne soit pas chauffée.

Beautiful villa with stunning views and relaxing homely feel
The villa is absolutely fabulous, the pool and views are spectacular, the villa is in a safe gated community with a lovely drive past parks to reach it. All bedrooms and the living/dining room have great air con. The kitchen is well equipped and there are other small touches such as citronella available. The outdoor covered terrace and BBQ are great for breakfast and evening meals overlooking the well kept gardens and sea view. The satellite TV and WiFi are great, especially appreciated by our teenage children! The bathrooms would benefit from a refresh but nothing major. I would return to the villa in a heartbeat and both my children and husband have said this is one of our best holidays to date and we have travelled all over the world. The area around Antibes is stunning and there are plenty of supermarkets close by for shopping. There is so much to do along the coast and all so easy to drive to. A car is essential but there is parking at the villa. Marion who manages the property is simply fabulous, so helpful and friendly, at the end of the phone when you need her but does not intrude on your holiday privacy at all. Everything we needed was at the villa and all I can say is thank you for a wonderful holiday and we will hopefully be back for another relaxing break soon.

Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the sea.
We enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was a perfect size for our large extended family. The highlights are the large balcony, charcoal grill, infinity pool, and views of the Mediterranean from all bedrooms. The villa gave us enough space to hang out together and cook, but also close driving proximity to visit to Antibes, grocery stores, and local beaches every day. But it's in a gated community set up a hillside, so a car is necessary.
As a rental property and not a full time home, there's a few appliances around the house that could be due some maintenance or extra instructions, but were serviceable. We definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend this property!
