Hübsches Hotel, tolle Eingangshalle, Nähe zum Strand

Bar und Restaurant waren nicht geöffnet. -Sehr kleines enges Bad, enge Dusche. Einstieg für große, nicht schlanke Menschen schlecht.

Wir würden das Landhotel Bode wieder buchen

Optimale Lage für Altstadt UND Strand. Nettes und motiviertes Personal. Landhotel mit sehr positivem Charakter. Reichhaltiges und vielfältiges Frühstück.

Verbesserungspotential: -Sonnenschirm im Vorgarten und auf dem Balkon -Ersatz für die zu harte Matratze und das zu weiche Kopfkissen

Super gemütliche und herzliche Unterkunft

Es ist alles sehr gemütlich und niedlich. Wir hatten tolle Zimmer mit Balkon, auf dem wir den Abend genossen haben. Das Frühstück war super lecker und das Personal sehr herzlich! Wir kommen nächstes Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder!

No care for the guests' needs

We found only two double beds prepared in the suite, while the ad on booking.com specified that it had 1 double bed + 1 single + 1 unfoldable sofa. We had made clear that we were a family with two teenagers: I think it was clear enough that 2 doubles were not OK ! We had to beg for sheets at the reception desk and manage something by ourselves with the sofa. For such a high price, this is definitely not acceptable.

The wooden floor, the tasteful furniture - the general look and feel of the place, the quiet location; Staff were friendly

That the restaurant was closed; the shower next door cause a lot of noise in my room and the neighbours showered late at night;

We had a lovely stay in pretty and popular (and warm) Travemunde!

This was our third stay at Landhaus Bode. With it's fantastic breakfast, there was everything we wished. And in a nice and quiet area not far from the beach but a bit longer walk to the centre of Trave.

We would not choose this hotel again.

Location was good and we loved the old charm boutique hotel feel.

The restaurant was closed as well as the wine bar / room. Would have been nice if we had been made aware of this at time of booking. This was one of the reasons we booked this property. They did make good on serving us the pre-paid breakfast. Lots of negativity about the restaurants, bars and shops in Travemuende from the person who checked us in. We enjoyed all.

Excellent hotel.

An exceptional European breakfast.

I disliked nothing about the hotel itself. My discomfort involved the fact that I disembarked a ferry at the Travelmunde port late in the evening. There were no taxis or buses running at the time so I had to walk nearly 5 miles to the closed hotel. Detailed instructions helped me gain entry into the quiet hotel. This obviously has nothing to do with the hotel. It might be a good idea, though, for the hotel to let guests know the distance it is from the terminal and to even arrange a taxi service.

Short holiday in Travemünde

Location between beach and harbour in quiet street was good. Room was spacious. Bathroom was clean but very small.

Pillows could have been tougher. There could have been such pillows available but we didn't ask because it didn't bother so much.

Very bad quality/price ratio.

Fairly nice staff

Poor breakfast (not buffet) overall. No wifi except reception area. No room-cleaning/towel change service. There were a lot of ants inside the room. Parking was at extra charge. Small bathroom.
