The property itself is as beautiful as the photos. The restaurant was good.
We booked this property specifically due to its close location to Antinori cellars.I booked a lunch there (on the same land, 10 min drive) and could not get a local driver to take us. The front desk staff informed us that there were no local drivers available so we had to pay 75 euros for a driver (one-way) to come from Florence to take us. Be aware that if you do not have a rental car, you can go nowhere!! Nothing is within walking distance. We were looking for a local “family” experience by choosing an agriturismo but definitely did not get this at Fonte de Medici. Staff was polite but not warm and inviting at all.

Such a gorgeous villa with an unforgettable view and great staff! We loved our room, swimming at the pool, and eating at the restaurant on site. The dinners were amazing and the waiters were so friendly and shared a lot about the area and food. We were able to relax and enjoy their breathtaking property!
We had to rent a car from Florence to get there, which was a bit challenging and another expense. We had an idea for the Villa to possibly offer a paid shuttle in the future since it is only 30 minutes from Florence.

Set in lovely grounds with swimming pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable.
Very hard pillows.
It would have been nice to have bread at breakfast to go with the cold meats and cheese.

Loved the location & the set up , the resturant & pool looking at incredible view. Had the wow factor when we were driving up to the location & finally made it to reception. Staff were so friendly. Bedrooms & bathrooms lovely in villa overlooking the view. Good breakfast & tasty dinners.
Would be better to have two showers , one in each bathroom. Main bathroom only had hand shower over bath tub. Last night we were there it was very cold in the night , there were blankets but no heating on till Nov. We did love the wine lab tastings booking , informative & 3 good wines but thought 90 euros for two of us was a bit pricey for tastings but it was enjoyable.

Stunning building decorated in traditional fashion and sympathetic to the age of the building.
Very good restaurant with great quality food and views of the amazing Tuscan sunsets.
Coffee/tea making facilities in rooms could be improved.
Towel exchange by the pool could be improved.

fantastic location , very peaceful, all staff were very kind , helpful and friendly .
beautifully traditional and spacious accommodation.
The only small thing was Sunday night the bar and restaurant is closed . However, the receptionist helped us book an alternative and return taxis , so really nothing to complain about .

Beautiful location! Staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was large with an extremely comfy bed. Bathroom was large and shower worked well. The outdoor pool was a lovely touch.
Wifi was spotty and did not work consistently

The swimming pool area and the view over the hills and vineyards is exceptional
The apartment behind the reception is not well acoustically insulated. A bit limited choice for salty breakfast, however the quality of available products was high and the restaurant court is really charming
