The apartments are in a nice location, in the garden, close to the local bus stop, pizzeria, near the beaches and shops. Very nice thermal pool and swimming pool.
It depends on which apartment you're staying in. This year we stayed in an apartment with a terrace, where we could see insects and smell mould in the wardrobe and kitchen cupboards (last year there was nothing in the apartment with a balcony). Didn't put anything in there. Wardrobe and kitchen cabinets replaced with shelves. But the service was helpful.

One of our best stays ever. Great location close to a beach and a bus stop. The tarrace with a view on the sea is a perfect place to spend your evening, even in late September. There is even a small kitchenette inside the room with some basic utensils.
A bit far from the port (2km) and shops (0,5 km)

Nice location, near the sea as well to hiking trail to Mt. Epomeo. The stuff is very pleasent. House wine is very nice. It is a good value for money.
There were a few things, which would make our impression even better. When we arrived there was coffee powder scattered in the kitchen corner and coffee pot was very dirty. During our stay it happen twice that when we came back the apartment stay unlocked after cleaning service.

Great value family run apartment/hotel complex. The room was spacious with great cooking facilities and great central heating. Yes, we needed it, as although it was mid March the nights were very chilly.
The indoor pool was amazing and very warm. I also dipped into the outdoor pool which was chilly (due to the weather) but great to have it to use in March!
There were no restaurants open within walking distance but I think it gets a little better from Easter on. But the bus service was fantastic and the local towns of Foria and Ischia have lots of places to eat. Also very easy to find supermarkets for self catering.

We loved the welcoming of the host, the view and the room. Perfect that the room had a little kitchen. As we were there off season, then we really appreciated the heating! The bathroom was nice and freshly renovated. Overall the room was clean and spacious.
We also enjoyed the spa! Very nice addition to the facility.
Would definitely like to visit it again during the main season.

Anna and staff were very helpful,,the rooms and facilities were very clean, moderately priced and a wonderful breakfast. Dinner must be ordered in the morning for that evening and the cook was talented and creative!

We enjoyed very much staying at Villa Marinu! The family running the villa is very nice and friendly and they speak english quite nicely. We were traveling with a dog and were given the ground floor apartment which was very clean and worked great for us although it was not very recently renovated such as we understood most other apartments are.
The villa is located some 300 meters up from the main road from where is it some 500 meters down to the nearest beach (Citara), an easy walk down, but quite tough and hot back up. Never did that as we had a car. From the main road it is some 2 kilometers to Forio downtown or 500 meters other way to Cuotto, where there are some shops and restaurants.
The real highlight of the Villa are the pools which we enjoyed very much. The outdoor pool is a bit small, perhaps 4x5 meters, but the water is perhaps heated as it was 30C+ water, very nice and enjoyable! There is also an indoor pool 2x4 meters with very hot water, perhaps 37C. Water in both pools was fresh water, not thermal so it was safe for children also. Usually we were the only guests at the pool and there were no restrictions for swimming cap or opening times which was very nice as many times we arrived to the villa quite late and could still enjoy a short night time swim.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Villa Marinu very much and will definetaly consider it again when we visit Ischia the next time!

The location is very good. You can get in Forio with bus in 10mins. The beach is also 10mins by walk. The rooms were clean and nice. We have a beautiful view to the sea.

We just got to Italy with our 13months old boy from Canada the day before and this was the best place for us to relax from such a long trip and recover from the jet-lag. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with AC and the nice outdoor space was perfect to stroll our kid to sleep. The staff was wonderful! Always helpful and ready to accommodate any need we could have. And their breakfast was fantastic!! Amazing food for such a great price. The location was also good, close enough to the main beaches if you are up for a short 20minutes hike uphill on the way back(don’t recommend to take the bus in Ischia at all! especially with a stroller or a baby..horrible experience there!)
