It was clean and quiet, decent shower and a comfortable bed. Parking was on site and easy.
Nice to have kettle and coffee in the room.
Breakfast was good.
Having to walk through and past people at tables in terraced restaurant with bags to get to the entrance to rooms. Three levels of steep, narrow, difficult turning stairs to negotiate with bags to get to room. The room was small without a main light, just bed lights. Cleaner entering room whilst we were still preparing to leave, we were not at check out time.

This is a nice privately run hotel with the option to have freshly cooked lunch and dinner on days the restaurant is open. The family room gave extra space and was ensuite. I also loved the option to have a kettle in the room. The roof terrace was my favourite spot for breakfast, and from the Juliette balcony the old town was visible. In equal distance to old town and central beach. Staff was very attentive when approached. Good parking on site. Breakfast relatively cheap.
We knew beforehand that this hotel is close to a small roundabout, but had not expected for it to be busy at certain times. Shutting windows helped well, but our balcony door had no proper roller blind. I would have preferred a buffet style breakfast to have a choice.

The hotel is located between the beach, the old village, and the train station. This was very convenient for us as we had travelled by train to this location and explored the town on foot. Excellent and plentiful breakfast! The room was relatively small but had air conditioning, was nicely decorated, and was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dinner and breakfast (at extra cost) we’re very good. Room was clean and modern. We found a small roof terrace which was lovely. Comfortable bed. Very friendly owners and staff.
A fridge in the room would have been appreciated.

Charming breakfast facility. Comfy bed. Easy parking. Spotlessly clean. A lovely 15 minute walk to a beautiful beach.
Our room faced the sun and the street, so we had heat and traffic. Ah well. We would stay again but ask for a different room.

Small room but set up well with all of the basic necessities and good WiFi. Small rooftop deck which was nice. Great restaurant in the hotel with amazing terrace covered by one giant tree, delicious dinner! Location nothing special but able to walk 20 minutes to the beach. Plentiful parking. Friendly English speaking staff member was very helpful. Good value!
Window covering was too thin so did not block out bright street light. Needed to use our eye masks. No elevator and small stairway not a problem for us but might be for some.

The owner was lovely. she spoke English which was a bonus as my French is very poor. Hotel approx 20-25 minutes walk to the beach. There is a choo choo train which takes you all around the area, the are different coloured routes. Please note if you are getting this to the village or back to train station the stop is round the corner from hotel in the car park of a gym or something on the left hand side. The breakfast was limited but the bread and pastries were fresh. I like a couple of coffees in the morning but felt I was unable to ask for a refill!!
Room was small, but nothing much wrong really except on last night I stayed on beach later as thought food was nice in restaurant so I would eat there at 7 when it opened, much to my dismay when I arrived back to hotel I found it all locked up and a notice saying restaurant not open tonight, think an emergency. I thought a text could of been sent to me, i am diabetic and the thought of the walk back beach to eat was upsetting, luckily for google map I found a Lidl 8 minutes away. Also day I checked out I told the French speaking lady il wait here on terrace till train time and she said ok, but then went inside and locked the door so I had to move on earlier as no where to go the loo

Very much enjoyed our stay at Auberge du Bon Vivant. Well located (15 min walk from the train station and 20 min walk from the beach). Our room was clean and had air conditioning. Meals served for the dinner were excellent and breakfast was also great. Staff was very friendly and professional. Merci Sandrine! Would definitively recommend this place.

Sadly the weather didn't let us explore too far. But the hotel was lovely. Quaint, with a decent restaurant which was good value. Check in was painless and I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine piece of local french hospitatlity

Very nice and helpful staff. Charming old building that’s been cleverly renovated. Room super clean with nicely appointed modern bathroom. Good hotel restaurant. Wi-Fi acceptable.
No lift and the staircase was a bit treacherous to negotiate particularly with luggage. Hotel right on a traffic circle and it was a bit noisy with the window open. We found it a bit hard to find as it’s located in a neighbor hood away from the beach.
