It is in a green area near the main road. The design of the room is very nice.
Very small rooms, basic breakfast.

The very few they had
The place is quiet and kinda beautiful. But the location is not the best, nor are their prices.
Here are some issues I had with them:
1) Laundry is too expensive. In most places in Ecuador, laundry service is around $1.50/kg of cloths. But they would charge independently. I know many people can afford this, but compared to domestic prices, it is too expensive.
2) Dinner is also too expensive: $25.00 per person. I have been in hotels wayyy better and prices are never so high for such quantity and quality of food.
3) They would charge an extra fee for paying with credit cards. (Many hotels won’t do so)
4) The staffs are always reluctant to help. For 3 days in a row, I asked them to light the heater (chimney type of heater). They would always say “in 20 minutes”. They would not come until we ask again. In one day, I felt it too cold to go out and ask again. Guess what happened: they never came to fire the chimney.
5) The location is not the best. There might seem to be a lot of restaurants around, but none are open. And they don’t serve lunch. So, I have to travel very far to have lunch.

Beautiful hacienda in a wonderful setting; mountains all around, horses and cows grazing nearby.
Rooms were basic, wood burning stove and small heater kept the room warm, but the bathroom was cold. Dinner was disappointing. We were charged $25 for a vegetarian meal (we are not vegetarian). First course was a soup which was fine; next course was just risotto, and a tiny piece of chocolate cake completed the meal. Breakfast was simple and adequate. However, it was served in a room with no heating and no fire lit in the fireplace.

The family spent time talking with us about the farm, the type of racing they breed the horses for and the history of the site. The food was delicious.

Hosts, historic house (140 years old) beautifully updated and arranged, perfectly provisioned to host people, yet feels intimate, cozy and welcoming. Amazing breakfast with products made in the property (the fresh cheese is so good no was left - I ate 80% of it!!!) Owners will make you feel like you are part of their family! There pictures of the property you see in booking.com are great, the actual place is even better!
Dinner was less than expected, especially for the price per person. It was a simple meal in our opinion (though I recognize that for the location and customs the meal may be unusual and interesting).

We really loved our stay in this picturesque farm house.... The interior is like out of a design magazine, matching perfectly to its farming setting. The hosts were super friendly, provide great advice. It was great to see the farm working around the accommodation, with the fantastic evening meals and breakfasts prepared using home grown farm produce. The hosts also took great care to manage Covid risks, to help every guest feel comfortable and safe. The bed clothing was to die for, we had not enough space in our luggage or i would have tried to pack them with us!!!

Wonderful homemade breakfast - yoghurt, granola, cheese, eggs plus bacon and fruit and fruit juice.
Also great horse riding for the seasoned horseback rider! Ask about different packages, one of which goes around to base of Cotopaxi for several days!
Very nice family hosts going back 4 generations.
